  1. BW failed this game from launch, I expect nothing less than that for the entire life of the game. Going from hundreds of servers and hundreds of thousands of players on launch to 20 servers and F2P in less than a year has to be the biggest failure on any level. They didn't listen to the community then and they won't listen now, and in the end it doesn't matter as something new will come along. If they would have backed off the launch day another year and polished the game, added content, and adjusted difficulty they could have had a better go of it. But alas this did not happen and here we sit. I for one have enjoyed the game, played 9 months at launch, left for a while, then came back to try it out. PvP is a joke for the most part, but hey I didn't design it, and still it has its bright spots and I am here playing it.

    They told us "amazing PvP" and "rated wzs" to go along with your "free" transfers that are currently no where in sight.

     

    WaR merged servers rapidly at launch which swtor failed to do. If there are free transfers offered, they will be offered to arrive only on already dead servers, which will die off as well. Good luck getting a free transfer to Fatman or Swiftsure.

     

    Once again spouting mis-information they have 1.3 million subs....

  3. The mistake Blizzard made was introducing dungeon finder in a game with 12 million subscribers, where finding groups took less time than traveling to the instance itself. SWTOR is the perfect target for it though because it has such a, relatively, low subscriber base and so many servers it becomes ridiculous. The only way for SWTOR to manage without an LFD type service would be by having massive server merges to the point where around 1/4th of the amount of servers will still be up and running, then the population density is high enough to heavily reduce the need for it.

     

    I am an anti-LFD'er, but with SWTOR's current direction (i. e. BW's idiotic decisions) it desperately needs such a system to make it.

     

    For some reason people look the WoW as the standard to which all games should be judged, because Blizzard did one thing correctly they catered to the right now generation and handed everything to them on a silver platter. Kudos on their part for taking the path of least resistance and doing that, but honestly I think Carebearing it also has the negative effect of making a childish and immature community. No one can deny that the WoW community is one of the worst out there, and I see these things happening here the more they carebear and give in to the me me me now now now kids.

  5. I know that it is difficult, but those calculations (especially War Hero ones) are essentialy worthless without taking dailies/weeklies into consideration.

     

    If you are an average player with 50% win rate, playing 6 games/day (or as long as needed to win daily;)), than you get about lets say 600 WZ comms for playing (I think your average/WZ is a bit to high assuming 50% win rate) + 99 WZ comms + 99 ranked WZ comms, so almost 400 WZ comms equivalent, which in turn speeds up process of getting war hero gear for about 60% (+weekly as a bonus;)).

     

    Situatuation changes with your win/loss ratio, amount of WZ/day etc, but assuming 13 hours per WZ piece while totaly ignoring dailies/weeklies is not correct IMO.

  8. Would like to see a deserter debuff or timer implemented for those people who consistently leave warzones when the outcome isn't going in their favor. Not only do they hurt the people in their group, but also those folks who have to go into their match because they rage quit.

     

    I believe 15-30 minutes would be good, but even better would be some kind of counter that ticked up as they abused the system more and more. Because we all know that they will continue to quit warzones. So a ladder scale on the timer would and could be useful.
