  1. I am a casual player and don't have a lot of time to play. With that being said, what is the personal conquest goal that I need to do to get strategic resource matrices? Totally confused. I did a search and couldn't find an elaboration as to what the personal conquest goal is. Can anyone clarify?
  2. Wow, I really need to wait before I post anything... all old schematics are in the Archive tab. Whew! Thought all that work was gone. I have to say at first it felt a bit liberating after the annoyance gave way to acceptance.
  3. Nevermind - I was too quick to complain about this. I see there is a level system to Influence and maxed out Affection takes you to level 10.
  4. I thought I read that our past Affection levels would convert to Influence. Did I misunderstand this? All of my companion's influence is at 0. Before 4.0, their affection was maxed out. Am I missing something?
  5. Not fair at all. I put ALOT of time into learning schematics for my synthweaver and had all purples in light armor up to level 30 and all prototypes to level 50; all that work (and money) has gone to nil AND I have to rebuy all the schematics? Terrible. Across all my characters I had good money making skills and ventures and while I understand some retuning had to be done, this still feels like a slap in the face.
  6. Yes, true but I'd never do that. I suspect few would. And, in this situation, we really have no choice. We're forced to make the conversion. If commendations had no distinction, I'd have 3 times the commendations that I currently have. I don't expect this to be balanced out and ultimately it doesn't matter... but I still feel kind of screwed.
  7. 1:1 I don't consider fair. The reason being that I've invest 297 Warzone commendations for every 99 Ranked. To convert back at 1:1 dashes all the work put into building up Ranked Commendations. There should be a better metric considering it was 1:4 (I think - 10 Ranked for 40 Unranked?) in the old system.
  8. I think it would be worth it if players could crowd fund for improvements in the game. So, in essence, we can donate for updates. There may be plenty of features the SWTOR team would love to put together but lack all the necessary resources to pursue a good suggestions that, while awesome, may be too time consuming and taxing - perhaps ten thousand of us could put up $50 each for say, hood on/hood off option/animation or something like that? Just a thought.
  9. Holos would be my preference. If I logged them out while they were in the stronghold, then having their actual bodies there is alright . If they're off doing runs on Makeb, Oricon or Rishii I'd prefer the holos. Similar to how group conversations go. If the physical bodies are there, it'd be kind of fun to see them walk around, interact with stuff and be open to conversations.
  10. Not quite like that. But I think it would be awesome to display holo's of all my alts (on pedestals, of course). And by doing so, I can inspect that character's achievements, levels, gear, current location, etc. That would also allow me to equip gear on each and, just thought of this, schedule crafting or gathering missions for each account. That would kick ***. And maybe, just maybe, switch to that character instead of logging out and choosing that character. It would also give me a way to decorate all the space in my stronghold AND give visitors something to look at and query.
  11. Excellent additions - esp the Samurai set & Guild email. The Battlemaster helmet, medium armour type, comes close to a samurai helm but a full set would be nice. I meant to mention this in my original post - Sometimes I'd like my character to just look like a Jedi I remember from the films, i.e. the garb Obi-wan and Qui-Gon are wearing at the beginning of Episode I or Luke's outfit from Episode VI (when he enters Jabba's palace).
  12. I’ve been playing Swtor since it came out and there are some features I’d like to see incorporated. As a long time player, I’d like to see SWTOR be the best game that it can be. And, of course, there are parts of the game that irritate me to no end. I don’t read forum posts that much outside of research so some of these features may have been mentioned already. PVP Queueing I am an avid PVP player and I am often queueing solo for both Ranked and Unranked warzones. My main area of frustration with this is that I have to commit to one or the other. Oftentimes, queueing for a ranked warzone takes a long time; I sometimes give up and opt for an unranked game. I would love to be able to queue for both at the same time with an option to set a priority for one over the other. This way I don’t lose time in one queue over another. If the PVP queueing menu could contain this level of customization, that would be amazing. Scoreboards I would like to see more stats on the scoreboards. Specifically, it would be nice to know who capped objectives along with Huttball assists and touchdowns; I feel the objectives score isn’t descriptive enough. I have often noticed in Huttball matches that the players who score or make the game winning pass are never noticed at the end of the match. Opponent MVP Voting There is no denying a great player when you see one even if it is on the opposite team. Sometimes I want to say job well done to my adversary. Outlaw’s Den - 1x1 PVP Queued Matches I like that this section on Tatooine is a free for all but I think it could be improved with custom 1 vs 1 queueing terminals and related daily/weekly rewards. I enjoy one on one matches when they happen organically in warzones but all too often the fight is interrupted by someone who’s trying to help an ally. CRAFTING UI This is my biggest pet peeve. I am a very active crafter and am slowly working at acquiring all the prototype and artifact schematics in Synthweaving. Following the trajectory of each item is needlessly confusing and especially difficult to return to after a hiatus. The items in the schematic list are all over the place; I scroll up and down, cross checking each green with blue and purple all the while thinking, “there could be a much better way to organize this." My proposal for crafting UI is this: For each premium item, add a color coded indicator as to how progressed I am – three blue bars, empty or full depending on whether or not I have all three prototypes; extend the same design to work with artifact gear. I am sure there are very talented UI designers on the team that could simplify this design and make progress tracking easier to follow. Custom crafting menu settings would also be welcome. My preference is to have items sorted by level with certain armor types collapse; not having this customization disappear when I complete a warzone, flashpoint or operation is desirable. Attempting to discover every schematic is expensive and time consuming. If I am bankrupting myself pursing it (which I have done a few times), I should at least get some credit for it – add an achievement for discovering every schematic and throw in some cartel coins. GTN Filtering a list by companion has never given me any results. Some of my lesser used companions are wearing poor gear and it would be helpful if this search option worked. Searching the GTN by seller is another feature I’d like to see. Sales Ledger I’d love to have a record of each sale I make : What I sold Selling price How long it took to sell Who bought the item This is a big request and probably not worth the time to implement but I figured I’d mention it anyway. STORAGE Material Storage For the most part, items typically stack automatically in inventory. In the process of crafting, however, stored materials do not dynamically stack. Adding in a button to storage and inventory to defragment, for lack of a better word, would be nice. This way, my inventory is compressed and more space is available – doing this manually is annoying. Or, and this is my preference, create a custom material storage tab that groups all my materials by name and does not restrict stacks to 99. Armor Collections Storage If I wanted to acquire all the collection sets of armour, it’d be impossible. Could the legacy storage bin provide custom armor storage that does not rely on the space squares? GEAR SETS I am often switching between operation and PVP gear. I often queue for both PVP and FPs and should I happen to have the wrong gear on, I have to change them. I keep two groups of custom gear, as many do. Adding a quick button to set and switch between the two sets of gear would be VERY AWESOME. If anything in this post influences an update, I hope this is the one (along with crafting UI). STRONGHOLDS There are a number of customizations I’d like to see here: COMBAT DUMMIES I assume this feature for Strongholds is on its way. If it isn’t, for the love of god why not? Timed dummy practice would be very useful. After the allotted time, a window display opens revealing stats – total damage, dps, burst dps, etc. In addition, allow for healing classes to use dummies to chart their heals per second. COMBAT PRACTICE I tend to forget rotations and skills on characters I have taken an extended break from. Therefore it’d be useful to queue random fights from a datacron like the rakata device from some missions. Consider it a Star Wars Universe VR headset video game that simulates combat. Using the VR set would open up a game screen menu where the parameters of the fight are set. For instance: Defeat 1 - 50 weak/strong/ elite enemies 10/20/30/40 or fight till you die enemy rush – weak, strong, elite . Completing each wave opens another wave until the number is exhausted or you die. Fight against other character classes with customized difficulty (Easy, Normal, Hard, Nightmare) Replay boss fights from class story lines, unlocked after completing that part of the story, with customized difficulty. Fight with or without companions Create customized Healer scenarios so that the experience isn’t based completely on defeating enemies; perhaps specifying between damage and heals Create a new level of achievements - best times, most number of enemy kills, etc COMMENDATIONS Allow for buying stacks of ranked PVP and basic commendations on the currency tab of the inventory window instead of just the standard inventory window. This would be particularly useful when trading unranked for ranked commendations. HOOD ON/OFF Enough said. This has been asked for again and again and happens to be the one forum thread I’m subscribed to. Is this ever going to be implemented? If anything, perhaps Synthweavers can choose whether or not to make a hooded or unhooded version of a chest piece? OR customize headpieces to display above or below the hood. For a while, Revan’s mask was the only mask that appeared under the hood and it was next to impossible to get in a cartel market pack. Buying it on the GTN is still prohibitively expensive. Thankfully there are some other options to choose from now but Ancient Battlemind’s Headgear would look awesome under a hood. OTHER Just a point form list for other features that don’t require a paragraph to articulate: Apply dye to vehicles Add an address list for mail so that player contacts can be saved For guild members and alts [*]Provide a way to dispose of unusable gear (i.e. Republic Scout Paint Job – Bounty Hunter) [*]Show missions details on the Quick Travel screen [*]Show all the selected filters on the map screen and NOT only when I am close to it (i.e. mailboxes, storage) [*]Legacy storage sort (somewhat already described in Storage) Storage stats page & search bar Search by attribute, name, ranking, etc. Create a custom summary page (armor pieces, stims, augments, mats, etc) [*]Get experience for stealth and not just for killing everyone. Isn’t better to achieve an objective without anyone knowing you were there? [*] Object replication scanner Scan objects in the Star Wars game and replicate it in a Stronghold Could be a cartel item with limited number of charges with some object restrictions [*]Allow map traversal via elevators so that the whole of the map can be explored on the map screen [*]Provide stats for when Ranked PVP and Operations are most active per server Allows solo queue players to know when it is best to find a group or play for rank [*]Allow Deluxe and Collector’s edition items to be stored in Mission Items inventory. [*]Allow players to mark a customized gear set as a Legacy set via a special item (e.g. my character wears a mixed bag of custom gear. Let me mark that set as “character name” ‘s Legacy gear.) TOTALLY UNREALISTIC REQUESTS Add in your own Mic system so players don’t have to rely on Teamspeak, Ventrilio, Mumble, etc. WTFast type service built in for subscription players Hire me as a professional swtor player and provide me with an outrageous salary, benefits, complementary self- driving Mercedes or Tesla Model S and create a dark side version of Yoda to serve as my own custom character.
  13. This is really annoying. Why is it only the Harbinger that seems to get hit by these types of issues? This has happened before and I remember it was right before the server went down. Really ***? I can log onto other servers without a problem. We need an explanation. Or free character transfers.
  14. I've been playing swtor for quite awhile now and this is the first time I've ever seen this. I hear there are server issues but haven't heard anyone refer to this. The error code states that my version is not compatible with the server version and logs me out when I hit the ok button. I can ignore this though and go to server selection and try others - none of them work and I get the same message. The launcher isn't detecting this new version so I'm completely cut off. Will this be fixed with the Sept 4 patch?
