I hit 50 yesterday and went right into a WZ with 1 piece of cent. gear. I was expecting to insta-killed when anyone looked in my direction (based on what ive been reading here) You know what.... i didnt notice a huge difference. I was still able to score in huttball, prevent people from planting the bombs in Voidstar, and outheal everyone... on BOTH teams. Yes gear makes a SLIGHT difference. But strategy while playing means much more.

I have to say, the incentives idea sounds great. Not a fan of starting a character at 20, simply because i think those early levels really help a player "learn" there class. 30% more XP? Id roll a republic toon. The timing and cooldown thing needs to be at the top of there list if thats contributing to the problem. From what ive seen, the most vocal class balance complainers are those that are primarily PvP. Ive stated before that BW should do what LotRO does in the ettenmoors. If 1 side is outnumbered by a certain percentage, they get a "buff". Increased damage and armor by an amount that wouldnt be game-breaking.

Just because theyre not getting fixed as fast as you want them too doesnt mean its at the bottom of the list. Didnt they just tell us how they go about fixing things?

Im a healer... im also against duel-spec. Why? Because healing isnt just about mashing buttons no more than tanking is. Id hate to be in a group with a healer that lvl'd to 50 as dps and suddenly wants to heal an Operation. ps: Yes i will use it if its released... Just to have 2 different healing builds.

Yeah, once i got use to the map and set my solid healer/support strat... and figured out how to throw the ball (lol) it became my favorite too

When i see these types of threads, i usually say something like "no one wants to know why your leaving, just LEAVE"... well, not in those words but something close. Thats because what they write usually sounds like a 12 year old whining about something. This was a well thought out and very well worded post. The fact that you have 5 50's and didnt mention being bored once made me happy. Ive yet to see a speed hacker in-game or a game-breaking bug, but im one of the lucky ones. As a healer everyone killing me if i try to fight back so class balance doesnt bother me. The WZ's arent just about killing the opponent. I'll take a lvl 10 thats playing the objective over a lvl 40 thats only concerned about getting kills any day.

For the people that keep saying the amount of Sorcs running around is proof that we're OP, Your wrong. Most people chose them simply because of the lightning. Others (like me) chose them because we were supposed to be the primary Imp heal class.

Because theyre not really un-subbing. Theyre just bored at work and need something to do.

If a players class isnt the best at something, they tend to complain about the class they think is better than them in that particular category.

I remember a while back people were threatening to quit because of the wait time to log in. A bunch of servers were added, now people are complaining about that. Soon Bioware will merge some of the lower pop servers and people will say "see, the game is dying" when its actually not true.

As a healer, i also have no problem with this either. But if electric binding was moved further up the lightning tree or moved anywhere in the madness tree, i wouldnt complain, i just wouldnt use it. Honestly moving it near the top of the lightning tree... or over to the healing tree where it and lightning barrier belong would probably be best. Move 1 or 2 of the Lighting/Madness hybrid skills up the trees. Best way to adjust without nerfing.
