  1. When my wife uses a Rep item (like the Shadow Syndicate items), she gains some 43K Conquest points. When I use those same items, I get 23K. Why is there such a massive difference? Shouldn't everyone get the same amount of Conquest points for actions?
  2. Before the update, hitting Ctrl-Z for the mount flourish would make the walker fire it's cannon. That doesn't happen anymore. Please fix. I miss my pew pew.
  3. So I've done a complete reinstall, and the chest pieces seem to be back... but now GLOVES don't appear on people. Can someone PLEASE help me?
  4. So a few days back, I had a bug where various pants weren't showing. I'd see troopers everywhere with just a purple placeholder blob instead of the texture for their pants. I tried doing a repair, and it SEEMED to fix. Today, I'm not seeing chest pieces. I'm either seeing the purple blob instead of a texture, or their chest section simply doesn't appear at all (just floating head and arms). I've done the Repair function multiple times, and it's still happening. Using nVidia, graphics driver is up to date and verified.
  5. It's working now. Thanks. Hopefully I don't have to keep doing this. Not sure why it's happening to begin with.
  6. https://imgur.com/nkdadMD So every time I try to land on Alderaan, my game crashes with the following message. How do I fix this?
  7. I've give that a try. EDIT: It worked. Frustrating having to do so, but yes, looks like modifying the items makes them "register". So at least that's a workaround for now.
  8. Just want to confirm I've got the same issue. Have the entire set on a character, but the set in the collections screen isn't unlocked.
  9. Don't know why it's happening. The game itself runs fine everywhere else. But doing this flashpoint in solo just has ridiculous lag to the point where the game is constantly freezing up.
  10. I'll try deleting the cache. It shouldn't be the video card or anything, as I've been playing fine every day since I last updated my drivers. It's only today that the crashing is happening for whatever reason. So, I've been playing (my imp character made it to Balmorra). Now that I tried to quit, the game crashed again. It's just stuck as non-responsive.
  11. I tried to play a character on Nar Shaddaa (Imperial) and during the load, the game crashed. I played a different character on Imp side, went to Tatooine, no issues. Flew to Balmorra, tried to exit my ship and the game crashed. Not sure what exactly is causing it.
  12. So trying to play today, I can log in and get to the character select screen. But when I pick a character, the loading screen gets about half way and then the game crashes entirely.
  13. So I have this Ornate Kubaz Box. It says using it should give me a mission after Chapter 9, as well as a Strange Holocommunicator. However I didn't get the communicator. I used the Collections to get a second box, and using it says that I have the unlock, but still don't see this communicator anywhere. Is this a bug? Nevermind, I found it. Apparently it put it in my bank instead of my inventory for some reason.
  14. My main issue with crafting is how insanely grindy it is. I'm having fun with the rest of the game. Loving the different storylines. The achievements grindy but not terrible. But crafting... dear god. It's downright horrific. Needing to get a ton of characters their weekly conquest so you can get the bits needed to make a higher tier mod, just to take it apart with the microscopic chance of learning the next up blueprint... it's a terrible system.
  15. I would also like to see more solo options. I mean, this game can mostly be played solo thanks to the companion system. So it would make sense to let players get all these seasonal unlocks by solo play.
  16. Cause I've fought a couple, and didn't see any crates. We just had a few random loot items to roll on.
  17. Super necro post, but does it have any use other than the one holocron? Just wondering if there's a point to holding on to it.
  18. Oh, that sucks. I was going off what people had told me in game. I got the achievement started and had asked about it, and people were saying it was tied to unlocking the guy.
  19. So working on the Paxton Rall achievement, and the last place I need to see him is Zakuul. However it's not a normal planet I can travel to, as I'm still early in my story. Does anyone know if I could be summoned there by a guildmate who has access, and would doing so affect my story at all? I know that you can hit planets later in the storyline as long as you don't do the quests there and it won't break anything. But I don't know how Zakuul works specifically.
  20. Thanks all. Yeah, I was told in game that it was safe to travel to later worlds without breaking story as long as you don't actually take any quests (likely just the "story" quests, but they said not to do any to be safe). I was actually doing the Paxton Rall thing, where you have to meet him in every cantina. So I wanted to jump ahead planets. Problem is, the last location I need is Zakuul. And it's not on the galaxy map. Is it possible to get summoned there if you have a guildmate who is able to go there? And would THAT affect the story in any way? Or would it still be safe? Basically, I was hoping to try and unlock an extra companion, as it would be a great boon to all my low level toons who just have one at the moment.
  21. I know that if you start the expansion storyline stuff, it cuts off the original content, so you can't do the early story missions and such anymore. Does it happen if you just go to the expansion planets? Or only if you actually start the story missions?
  22. So, what's actually worth trying to make for myself? Other than the upgrade items?
  23. Okay, so if I want set stat stuff, I would make the War-Forged stuff and hope for improved schematics (get a blue and then a purple, etc until it hits 306 rating). For the open slot stuff, I would be making and deconstructing the actual mods to get higher ranked versions (up to 306). The actual gear itself doesn't improve. So that makes sense then. I would have figured the open slot items would have better versions that would have just had slightly better base damage (or armor or whatever) so that when you mod them up, the total is higher. But I guess they didn't go that route.
