  1. Id like to see Lannik (Yoda's species)...but only for players who have 6 or more characters at level 55 to keep them as rare as Master Yoda is himself! :-) (Plus it'll give me reason to max out my other characters!)
  2. I used to play Phantasy Star Universe and the apartments in PSU were brilliant! Places for people to congregate before going on missions together. Fully upgradeable...you could buy different sizes of apartments depending on how rich you were, you could put trophies on display, theme your rooms, even set up a shop in there! This gives so much scope to add to the game...I think this could be brilliant! Lots of folks will be sceptical, but if Bioware use this to its full potential, this could be wonderful! What I would like to see is the apartment NOT being like a story area where you enter through a green see through door...but free roaming blocks of apartments of different standards on different planets, where we can either permanently lock to be completely private, give keys to friends or guild members so they can visit when they like, or even an open door apartment so we can show off our wares to anyone interested! The idea of apartment blocks is so we can move and live next to friends or guild members, we could have the ability to sell our apartments and move, thereby creating an entirely fluid and genuine property market within the game which reflects the desirability of certain apartment blocks and planets they are on! If we set up our own shop then it could encourage visitors as this shop may not need to be linked to the GTN and certain crafters and sellers will become in high demand and can gain a reputation within the game which would add to the sense of community. Bioware have probably decided already how they are going to do this, I just hope my wish list is along the right lines! Matt
  3. As a relative newcomer to SWGF, I must say that on the whole im enjoying it...just one thing though... I have lost count of the amount of unbalanced teams I have been on. In general you can tell who the experienced players are as they tend to have 4 or 5 ships available (not always the case, but generally this is correct). On several occasions I have been on a team of clearly inexperienced fighters, against a team with 4 or 5 experienced fighters, the result is a total rout! I have also been on the benefit of this inbalance twice, where its just been a turkey shoot! I dont know if there is supposed to be a balancing act done when selecting the teams...if its supposed to happen then im afraid it aint working! If its not supposed to happen, then please balance the teams better!
  4. From the varying replies here it seems clear that Revan is like Marmite...You either love him or hate him! (If your from the states, you may not know what Marmite is...its a yeast extract you eat on toast in the UK). I think that to cater for both sides of this argument, the solution is simple. Have Revanites elsewhere in the game...if you join them, you get more of a reveal of Revan, if you dont join them, you get the option to weed out the remaining Revanites and wiping all trace of Revan from history. Everybody happy! :-) Matt
  5. Totally in with this idea...Like you said, coding would be tricky, but definitely worth it! Thats a +1 from me Bioware!
  6. Dont know how this idea would go down, but would love feedback. How about an in game competition once per month, Lvl 55's only where we fight each other in an arena, Jedi Sentinel V Sentinel, Guardian V Guardian, Sith Juggernaut v Juggernaut etc. Once a player has won ten fights without defeat he/she then gets promoted from Guardian/Sentinel to Weapon Master etc, with each class having a different 'Elite' Class. After this exclusive armor, weaponry comes available and if 25 Fights are won without defeat then a 10000 Cartel Coins Prize. And finally, for the top ranked 12 players in each class, they can have a title for that month (Jedi = Jedi Council Member, Sith = Dark Council Member, Agent = Assassins Council Member etc). Maybe even an Elite class Flashpoint could be made available for winners. And of course...as this is my idea...I should be made an Elite Class automatically...(As im not very good at PVP! Lol!) As I said, Im not sure how this would go down, but feedback would be appreciated. Matt
  7. In a deleted scene from episode 1, there is a scene where a young anakin gets into a fight with a young Greedo, and then a warning from one of Anakins friends that Greedo 'will come to a sticky end'. In Lucas's universe, Greedo is from Tattooine, in the expanded universe he is from Nar Shaddaa. As for who shot first, by changing this scene, Lucas destroyed part of Han's character AND journey. Han at this point is a bad boy, and shooting Greedo first showed that. By changing this scene, Lucas stopped the audience from having this impression and changed him to just a scoundrel and already a good guy. His journey was the impression and effect his friendship with Luke had on him, that Luke rekindled a lost part of Han's soul and in effect, turned him back from a path that was destructive. When that scene was changed, Han's journey was also changed. Bad move Lucas!
  8. It would be nice if we had a mobile phone app available that allowed us to send our companions on crew skill tasks and create items for us while we are away from the comp. To prevent this being abused, set a limit of 10/20 items per day per character. Just a thought. Matt
  9. 'GORDON'S ALIVE?!!!'...Brian Blessed...What a guy!
  10. Dantooine, Dagobah, Kashhyyk, Manaan, Onderon, Dxun and Geonosis.
  11. This is DEFINITELY the way to go! Once the storyline is finished there is limited end-game content, you can only play the end game content for so long before becoming bored. Many on our guild are now playing GW2 until we get some decent updates for SWTOR. If we have guild planets/stations, guild ships and all the above suggestions, I know they will come back to the game, as the possibilities for this are limitless. Bioware...PLEASE...for the love of all that is holy...LISTEN to the suggestions on this thread, apply them to the game, and do it ASAP!!!
  12. It may or may not have already been suggested, but the Togruta look really cool and I would love to have a togruta character. Please make them playable Alliance characters!
  13. This could be one of a number of issues: 1 - As mentioned on a number of these threads, check your firewall...if it is causing an issue, then add swtor.exe to the list of programmes exempt from firewall protection. 2 - Your monitor. I had a VERY old LCD monitor...one of the first ever released, which had served me well for many years, it handled the BETA test quite nicely, but when it came to the client, it just didnt like it, went black when i pressed play and kicked me to desktop. I got a new widescreen monitor, and problem solved. 3 - Your system. go to google and type 'will it work' and go to the website listed (usually top of the page) to test if your system will run the game, you will need to allow a plug-in download (which is quite safe) and check if your graphics card will handle the client. Hope this helps. Matt
  14. Even at off peak times I can have a wait of 45 minutes...on peak, up to 4 hours...and your moaning about a 5 minute wait?! Get a grip! I know people on these forums seem to be whining and moaning about a load of complete nonsense at the mo but this really takes the biscuit!!!
  15. Read the server list a bit more carefully, the european servers are mixed into the US server list. eg...Frostclaw is a European PvE server and its listed under US. They just havent separated the two regions yet.
