Hi all, I am running my game on a laptop and it is set to lowest graphic settings....I would like to use my slightly older desktop which needs a decent video card in it. My desktop will run the game (but only just), but it'll work smoother with a nice card. (I won't bore you with the specs on the desktop for now, suffice to say it runs the game at lowest settings but NOT on a busy fleet) A friend told me that current video cards will be compatible with my MOBO, even though I'll upgrade the MOBO, RAM, CPU later. I will eventually replace the MOBO, RAM, CPU etc. in order to gain better performance and higher display output. My starting place is a video card which I can use in my current older system and then re-use in a newer box as I can afford to upgrade. For now, I want to stop using my laptop (overheats a bit) and run on my older desktop, even just at the lowest video settings. I'd like your advice on the video cards within my price range in my country. Here is the store I will likely use...PB Tech in New Zealand. Can you take a look at the options and give advice on the cards please? I am looking at the $250 range. Which card do you think is the best one they offer for around $250?
