  1. Thank you very much for the info and tips!
  2. Hey all! A returning player here unsure of the best ways to earn credits in today's game. I'm up for any advice & help, whether its a particular set of dailies, mats, items to sell on the GTN, whatever. What's lucrative nowadays? Thanks for any help!
  3. Oooh! Shiny! I like that as well! Maybe they could put in a +/- thing that allows us to collapse/expand details.
  4. Ooohh! Yes! I liked that too, before they fixed it. Definitely a good idea.
  5. Yes! I came back about a month ago and I'm very pleased with the content, features, strongholds, space PvP, and everything else that's been added.
  6. Anyone else think this little tweak might be helpful?
  7. Having a blast with it, and I'm only on Part III of the prelude.. Heh!
  8. I'm not sure if anything like this has been submitted before (after searching), but would it be possible to add a quick little tweak to the character selection screen to help people get quick info without having to log all the way in? Sometimes I need to know if there are folks online on a character's guild, whether or not they have email (after crafting runs), etc. Something like: this?
  9. I love it, too! Super glad to be back after being gone for a while.
  10. I pre-ordered the CE and played from original early access to just before F2P went live. Was gone for 2-ish years and resubbed a few weeks back, picked up Cartel and SoR, etc. Between all of the features, customization, content and mechanics that have been added since launch, and the community having settled (growing again) with people who are [mostly] passionate about the game, I am REALLY excited about the game--even more than I was at original launch. The training skills going free is a good move. I understand the complaints SoR early access folks have, but I think that was a good move for a game that seems to be mostly moving in the right direction.
  11. Thank you all, for the tips and advice! So excited to be back!
  12. Really excited to catch up on all the things that have been added since before F2P happened. What should I buy with my cartel coins? Any good spice around here?
  13. I don't believe there was a 12 month option... Regardless, this six monther is out as of tomorrow.
  14. I still have some prepaid time left on my subscription which is how I'm still posting, because I know some people still don't understand how people who've said they've cancelled can still post. And I know the bulk of you won't care about my post, but I love Star Wars and want this game to improve and prosper. It's just some personal feedback. Who knows, someone may feel similarly on some things. As to my reasons for cancelling, it's just too similar to World of Warcraft. The systems and mechanics bore me to death. From crafting to PvE to PvP, I feel like I'm playing WoW with a Star Wars skin. I know I'm not the first to say that. I'm sorry Bioware, but the voice acting doesn't take away from that, and in my opinion, too many resources were blown on that, which many players just skip through after capping one character at 50. The similiarties in the mirrored classes between the Republic and Empire. Predictable and boring. Can you please maybe give each class another advanced class tree to choose from that isn't so blatantly reflected by any other class? Companions. They're great to have around while leveling up, but at 50, they serve no real purpose except to constantly run your crafting errands, which leads to... Crafting: Absolutely boring and within the context of the current game's economy, pointless. PvP: Straight out of WoW's playbook. Nothing original here. How about some real open world PvP? How about including vehicles and equipment you can operate? Walkers? Base defenses (actually being able to manually operate base defenses), etc. Space/space PvP: The on-rails stuff insults Star Wars fans' intelligence. Come on. It just seems like Bioware went to some generic MMO company, got a bunch of pre-made modules, put some Star Wars skins on them, slapped them together and published it. There is very little in this game that is original, exciting or fun and is not the game so many of us dreamed about for years. I played a bit of beta, bought the CE, and have been playing since early game access but have absolutely no plans to play past my remaining bit of pre-paid time unless there are some drastic changes and additions. Something I found interesting (ominous?), by the way.. When I cancelled my subscription, I got sent a survey to take.. Many of the questions had to do with how likely I would be to play this game or other games that were a free-to-play model... I'm *not* saying I want this game to go to F2P.. I *don't* and would happily continue to pay a subscription because the more successful MMOs don't *have* to go to a F2P model, I'm just mentioning the survey as a sign of where TOR may be headed.
  15. I wasn't implying I wouldn't pay for it. I listed elements/systems/mechanics of the game with some suggestions. I only mentioned the survey with F2P questions as an omen of what might be coming for SWTOR.
