  1. This is usually caused by a memory leak. When programs run, they request additional memory. Sometimes, (usually due to a hard-to-find bug) they don't release this memory when they're done with it. In the case of SWTOR, every new model/texture has to use memory to be displayed. If there's a memory leak that occurs every time a model is loaded/unloaded, eventually, you will have a lot "leaked" memory that is "used" by the game, but isn't doing anything. So if it typically uses 2 gig, and 1.7 gig is lost, you get your problem. The solution is to close and relaunch the game, because Windows reclaims your memory when the process ends. Sometimes, you will require a reboot of windows, if there's a memory leak in your drivers, or in Windows itself.
  2. This is funny. I have 67 days remaining. With a 2 month timecard, and the free month activated on Dec 29th, so that means 23 days have passed. 67+23=90. So I guess the key is to buy 2 month timecards.
  3. It works for me. Dunno if there's a preference setting, but I do know your companion has to be with you, and not on a mission.
  4. I have a portable connection to the Holonet that I can use during quests, but I can't check my Email on it? And yes, it is referred to in-game as Email. Is it just because WoW did it, and when in doubt, copy WoW?
  5. Motherboard / Processor Intel Core 2 Quad CPU Q8200 @ 2.33GHz Manufacturer Nvidia Model 680iLT Total amount of system memory 8.00 GB RAM System type 64-bit operating system Number of processor cores 4 Storage Disk Partition: 112 GB Free (466 GB Total) Graphics Display adapter type NVIDIA GeForce GTX 260 Total available graphics memory 4095 MB Dedicated graphics memory 896 MB Dedicated system memory 0 MB Shared system memory 3199 MB Display adapter driver version 8.17.12.8562 Primary monitor resolution 1920x1080 Secondary monitor resolution 1280x1024 DirectX version DirectX 10 Network Network Adapter NVIDIA nForce Networking Controller So how about it. What should I upgrade for the best bang/buck. I want to get up to at least 30fps with my settings on low. Can I do that without spending too much?
  6. It would make cross planet travel much less of a headache. Also, how about letting us use the speeder in the spaceport. Why can't we already, some sort of Spaceport Law? Even better, put a speeder flight path outside our hangars. Spaceports would logically have local transport (think taxis outside airports).
  7. Wow, really? Stop editing my comments you pathetic excuse for a forum mod.
  8. Yeah. If you miss one respawn-door opening, you're kicked before it opens again, even if you're at your keyboard. When I play, I have to hope that my dog doesn't start chewing on something, because I *will* get booted.
  9. You what would be awesome? If a crewmember returning from a mission didn't immediately cancel whatever I was doing. Seriously Corso, hold your frigging horses, I'm BUSY.
