It would be nice if both pieces of sets would actually drop though. Most of the default Synthweaving stuff doesn't look that good.

Why is it so hard to find a decent set of moddable leg armor? The Black Talon Inquisitor's Lower Robe isn't dropping (although I've looted over a half dozen tops). The heroic mission that supposedly drops the Traditional Shadow Silk Lower Robe (Annihilate the Annihilator) is no where to be found and no Inquisitor armor on the commendation vendors is moddable. Others here are complaining about not being able to loot their full sets from flashpoints as well. What gives? Why can't we get some moddable leg armor? The only ones I've been able to find are slave girl and imperial dancer gear and I don't really want to do my missions in that...

No they're not. There are "Black Talon" heavy, medium and light sets. There's Juggernaut, Marksman and Inquisitor gear that I've seen myself. There also should be (as in it exists) Powertech, Sniper, Marauder and Operative Black Talon armor. They're just not dropping. I've run Black Talon over ten times in the last two days trying to get a lower Inquisitor robe. I've seen six upper robes and nothing else. The reason people want these is not because of the quality of stats, but because it's the first upgradable armor. It can be upgraded quite cheap using the commendations everyone is touting as what people should be using to buy armor. The simple fact of the matter is that people want to use the upgradable armor and carry it along with them for a while, using their commendation at the mod vendor as they level up. It's far more efficient than buying disposable armor sets from the commendation vendor. The problem is the drop chances are very obviously bugged. When a specific armor piece for one class is dropping every run, and ten runs doesn't net a single other piece then something is up.

I've run BT ten times in the last two days trying to get a the Inquisitor set. The robe dropped fairly easily, I've seen four drops. I've not seen one lower robe drop at all. Someone said in /1 that they thought the light side choice was dropping the lower robes and the dark was dropping the tops. I haven't been able to test it as I've only taken the light path once out of all the times I've run it.
