Welcome back!!! I just came back about a month ago. I also haven't played since launch. The game is better than ever. Glad to see other people coming back. Iv found that this comunity is very friendly. I made a post when I came back and everyone is very welcoming. Come over to the ebonhawk server. I don't RP but the RPrs make for a wonderfull game atmosphere. Very immersive.

Im on Ebonhawk Emp. I can only speak for pre lvl 55 warzones but i get queue pops very often. Seems very active. Hope this helps.

I liked the SWTOR community before I had to leave the game and I'm happy to see its still a good one now that I'm back. You guys are awesome!

Well here I am again. Back to SWTOR after an almost two year hiatus and I have to say the game is still fun. There is a lot of negative feedback out there. So I thought I give some positive from my experience as a returning player. Ok so a little history. I started following the game in 2009. I signed up for beta and prayed to get in. At the time I was looking into other MMOs to satiate my boardom in WoW. Iv always loved the Star Wars universe so it seemed like a perfect fit. I got access to early beta and enjoyed myself immensely dispite the usual early beta bugs and lack of optimization. After launch I leveled my sorc (op at the time so was extra fun lol) to 50 and loved the pvp. Huttball is still the most fun iv ever had in pvp in any mmo. After a few months I had to abandon my sub due to IRL reasons and fell behind on all the news and changes. So this brings me to my return. About a week ago I opened up the FTP version of the game to satisfy my Star Wars itch and HOLY CRAP! The game is so different. Most of the additions that were made like GSF and the Hutt Cartel are nice. The free to play model seems lacking but it's free to play and I'm used to spending a sub fee with other MMOs anyway. I just treated it like a free trial witch some games only let you level to 20 or 10 anyway. So I subbed back up and it was totally worth it. The things that were lacking from launch and were removed before launch were added in. Like the new group finder and unify color are great additions. The game is more optimized and runs smoother than ever. Now there are some things I could nit pick about but there are 100s of threads in this forum about those already. To be fair most of the things players complain about are things that most all MMOs forums contain. The truth is the game is fun and I'm glad I'm back. Any other long term returning players care to give an update on there experience returning to the game? Please tell. Maybe Iv missed some updates or additions. Anyway thanks for reading. Just thought I'd share TLDR. Haven't played in a long time. Like what I came back to.
