  1. You don't. You get Data Crystals these dsays.

Shows how many times you've visited PvE recently.

You get Comms from the Daily and Weekly Warzone Ranked/Unranked quests.

Shows how many times you've visited PvP recently.....

  2. The 250 Comms was from a time long since past. 250 Valor is the base amount you earn with zero participation, and it increases the better you do in the Warzone
  3. Translation: "Not everything is how I want it, Failware are meanies! I'm going to run away and never come back!"

In all seriousness though, I'm also not satisfied with how fast they fix things, but at least they fixed the crafted purples bolster in this patch. Patch quality control is also abysmal. 2.2.1 broke the launcher for quite a few people and rendered the game unplayable.

Bolster is here to stay - this is the direction the game is taking, and there's nothing inherently bad about it (aside inconveniencing people who were used to effortlessly crush fresh 50s just by the virtue of superior gear pre-2.0, but that's quite another matter).

Except they didn't. Yes the Implants and Ear are no-longer beneficial, however the Crafted MH, and OH are still drastically better than their Conqueror counterparts.

  4. Oh snap! Not even here for 4 hours and already imperials want me dead? I guess I'm just that good :p likewise to you. I'll even lend you the courtesy of putting a pillow on the designated spot of your dirt naps

    HSP is a Pub guild.

  5. An Interrupt refers to a specific ability type.

An Interrupt is a skill that stops another persons cast -and- locks that ability out for short amount of time.

So while some abilities like stuns, mezz, knock back, all interrupt a cast, An Interrupt refers to a specific kind of ability.

Exactly, it does not say "Immune to all incapacitating and Movement Impairing Effects", it explicitly identifies Interrupts. Force Choke is classified as an incapacitating ability in the sense that it prevents all actions from being used outside of those that indicate that they can be used while incapacitated.

  6. Maybe if a European company developed a game that lasted more than 5 minutes you could have your wish.

Guess you don't know much about your MMO's. Runescape which has been active for over 12 years now, with more players than SWTOR was developed by Jagex Game Studios is based out of Cambridge, England.

EvE online was created in Finland.

The Secret World, Anarchy Online, and Age of Conan, All still active games, were created by Funcom a company in Norway.

Your self-righteous pedestal really shows how ignorant you really are.

    1. I work in game development and know for a fact that there is 0% chance that the PvP team is literally one person. Don't consider my evidence for this at all, please continue to focus on what you WANT to think.

Then as a game developer you should know that Yoda's comment about why the Updates take so long is true.

I am re-quoting this to explain to you how the development process works.

I definitely have a team that supports me, brainstorms with me, and tests with me, but I do all of the design, implementation, and balance for all of the classes by myself. It is a daunting task.

So look, he has people that feed him pictures of what the new gear will look like, he has people suggesting what changes should be made to classes to balance them out, he has people that are giving him drawings of new pvp maps, he has people that are gathering player feedback and trying to pick the bad from the good. Now this is where that ends, because We have now covered the TEAM. We are now stuck with the 1 guy with a keyboard that needs to render the graphics in the game, the 1 guy who needs to make the appropriate balance changes, and the 1 guy who needs to implement all of this into the game.

In a proper development environment you would have 1-2 guys who would Design the maps, 1-2 guys who would focus on creating the new equipment, 1-2 guys that would focus on class balancing. A proper development environment would have between 3 and 6 developers who are focused on this one aspect of the game. Instead we have 1 guy who has to cover the job of up to 6 people. I am pretty sure they don't have 1 guy who creates the new Ops instance, as well as puts all of the gear into the game, as well as creates the boss mechanics, as well as creates the npc animations for the Voice Over, so Why does PvP have 1 guy.

And before you go all high and mighty developer on me, the company I work for just hired 4 new software developers, 2 of them focus on application integration, 1 focuses on visual aesthetics, 1 focuses on functionality. Now if we were to take on the Bioware model, we would just hire 1 guy and tell him to make it happen.

  7. The fix is very simple.

Flat Stats for both new brackets.

10-29 gets x amount of primary stat, x amount of endurance, x amount of expertise, x amount of bonus damage/healing regardless of level and gear, everyone enters identical for their class.

30-54 Exact same as above, maybe slight stat increase to make it feel like your progressing

55 Bracket, purely based on gear, since there is nothing at all to spend your comms on from 10 through 54 so you should be saving and converting your comms as you get them to cap out.

  8. A new era of Star Wars is almost upon us, Rise of The Hutt Cartel early access launches in under 24 hours.

To help promote the new expansion to such a fun game, I am going to be streaming it Tuesday evening at 9pm EST.

I am going to try and run the stream for the entire duration that it takes to level 2 Characters from 50 to 55,

and grind out a full set of the new PvP gear on each of them.

I am also going to be hosting a multitude of Giveaways.

I will be purchasing a Hypercrate of whatever the current cartel pack is (each crate contains 24 cartel packs), and

will be giving away 1 cartel pack every hour. Please keep in mind that the Cartel Pack has a 36 hour lockout before

it can be traded, so I will be collecting the names of all winners and distributing the Packs when they unlock. To

recieve the Cartel Pack, you must play on Prophecy of The Five (Republic or Empire).

Other items that will be given away at certain milestones:

-Forge: Given away when Character 1 hits 55

-Rift, and Rift: Storm Legion (Steam only): Given away when Character 2 hits 55

-Defiance (Steam only): Given away at the 150 follower mark

I encourage you all to atleast come in and take a peak, who knows you may find me entertaining enough to stick around

    for atleast 1 giveaway.

    Stream Link: http://www.twitch.tv/vape4life

If possible does anyone know how to get ahold of Bioware to see if they may be willing to donate some RoTHC keys to be given away?

  9. Just some quick advise. Ditch the girly music, it really deters from the actual gameplay. Try using just the game audio, possibly look into doing a voice over that explains what you are doing and why. If you absolutely feel the need to overlay music on top of your video, pick something that fits the video.
  10. Now before you jump in here and say, why post here, we already all are likely to have the game. I am sure there are alot of people out there with Friends/Family that don't have the game, but would like for them to play with them. This is that opportunity.

Hey guys, I am making this post because I wanted to let everyone know something.

I run a live stream in which I play various pc games ranging from MW3, to Star Wars: The Old Republic.

I am not top ranked player, I am just a regular guy who enjoys playing games, and wishes to share my experiences

with anyone who wants to hang out. However the biggest reason for this post is to announce that I am doing a giveaway.

On Saturday February 4th, at 12pm PST I will be giving a copy of Star Wars: The Old Republic, combined with a 60day Timecard

To be eligible to win the giveaway there are 3 simple requirements that must be met.

    1. Follow my live stream http://www.twitch.tv/dalmeratv

    2. Follow me on twitter for future updates to the stream http://www.twitter.com/dalmeratv

    3. Be watching the stream at the time of the giveaway

This is an open invitation for everyone to come check out my stream.

I would love for everyone to atleast come and check it out, like it or hate it, decide for yourself.

Right now it is a small stream at 720p quality, however I am hoping to grow the stream.
