I have seen a few people post here and social media to click on their referral link to get 7 days sub and access to the new KOTET expansion. This is not true, the only person who will benefit will be the person whose link you clicked after you actually sub to get the expac. You have to have an actual paid subscription to access the new expac. With a referral link you only get 7 days sub and some other goodies, I forget what.

Tis almost the season! The Bannerless Order guild will be hosting our 3rd annual holiday season events. First on November 26 from 8 pm EST till 10 pm EST we will be hosting our 3rd annual Welcome to the Holidays Fleet Datacron Event. Santa himself will be making an appearance on Imperial Fleet to usher in the holiday season while we do free pulls to the fleet datacron. On December 17 at around 9 pm EST Santa will be arriving on Imperial Fleet with his bags loaded with gifts for all for our 3rd annual Santa Event. This is nothing more than an open voice chat server for SWTOR players to use for PUG groups etc and to play with friends using voice chat software which is no different than using TS, Vent or Mumble, we are just moving the open voice chat to a new voice chat software from Mumble. Voice chat software doesnt interfere with the game in anyway other than providing people a way to communicate. We have been around for over 2 years and have posted here with no problems with the Devs.

When people that had early access to SoR had to pay for their ability upgrades and to re buy some of them, Bioware decided to make all abilities free when everyone got access. We didn't get compensated then and I doubt they will do anything like that now.

For those of you who do not know about SWTOR Voice and those who have regularly used it in the 2 and a half years we have been operating it, I wanted to let everyone know about some changes that we have made to SWTOR Voice. SWTOR Voice is a free open voice chat server for all players whether F2P, Preferred or Subscribed to use to group with friends, for PUG Groups or Operations etc. This is a free and will always be a free service for SWTOR players only. For the last 2 and a half years we have used a Mumble server to facilitate SWTOR Voice and we are transitioning to a new voice chat software called GameVox and will be shutting down the SWTOR Voice Mumble Server sometime on October 9, 2015. The new system is up and running and we are asking all users to please transition to the new system. This transition allows us to add the following features to SWTOR Voice for all users. - Unlimited users on the server - Avatars, yes avatars next to your name while connected - Superior Voice Quality - Invite URL to quickly have your friends or PUG group mates connect to the server once they download the client instead of having to enter all the info as you did before with Mumble - Cloud system so that your connection latency can be the best possible through the cloud network. - User name and password through our secure 3rd party source that will allow you to keep the same name etc when moving from computer to computer etc. - The ability to control the volume of other users (Something we wanted from Mumble for sometime but were never able to get) - Friends system that allows you to Instant Message your friends even if they are not connected to the SWTOR Voice Server (They must have the GameVox client running in their task bar for this to work) - In game overlay for those who wish to use it that has to be set up from settings but more controllable than Mumble's was. Just trying to keep from putting too many links in the thread. We are also going to be adding a new feature to SWTOR Voice before the end of the year, we wanted to have it done for the KOTFE launch but it seems we wont the re scripting done in time. One thing we are adding is a Guild Matchmaking feature that will allow guilds to look for members and members to look for guilds based on type of guild and other criteria to help match them up with the best guild for them and vice versa.

No problem, glad we could help. The guild we were running the event for actually isn't our sister guild but a guild of friends that sometimes sends us fill ins for our progression raid teams when we need it but a smaller guild. We actually host the +10 fleet datacron event on the last Sunday of each month from 7 pm till 9 pm EST. We are working on setting it up on the republic side as well though we are primarily an Imperial guild. We try to do a few different times of server events throughout the year such as our Christmas Santa event where Santa comes to fleet to hand out presents and our Super Bowl pool etc. So keep an eye on the forums for our upcoming events as we have something fun planned for sometime in July or August just working out the logistics on it.

Some of my guild play on an SWG server but not the EMU hosted on a different private one. There are a few SWG private servers some with different features. I am not going to give links to them etc as I am not advertising for them but some of the private servers have been adding stuff to the game, one has the planet Hoth as a Sandbox planet where you can build cities etc and another has revamped the jedi system. There are even retexture mod add ons that completely revamp the graphics of the game. So it is not a dead game per say just some people who still enjoy the game. While the servers are mostly stable and I enjoy it I would not leave this game to play on a SWG server. SWTOR offers things SWG did not and vice versa. SWG was a great game pre CU but it never offered the raiding that SWTOR does nor the story lines that SWTOR offers just like SWTOR can never offer player cities, custom houses, in house vendors etc. Lastly while I doubt either SOE or Disney care about the private servers as they have been running for about 3 years now, it is I think bad form to tell people you are leaving SWTOR for a SWG server, it is kinda like advertising and asking others to do the same. As I stated above, I enjoy aspects of both games so while I do enjoy my time on the SWG server I play on I will continue to support this game as well.

<The Bannerless Order> will host its monthly fleet on Saturday Aug 30 from 3 pm EDT till 5 pm EDT. NOTICE: We are using a new system for the datacron event so a few things have changed. We will be using our guild ship summon ability to summon an entire group of people directly to the door on the top platform just outside the datacron either when a group of 24 is full or every 10 minutes whichever comes first. This will remove the waiting for sages call ability. Due to this change, you are required to have obtained your personal star ship in order to be eligible for the guild flagship summon ability. As long as you have your personal starship any level may obtain the fleet datacron NOTICE: Bioware has fixed the blue crystal bug and you are required to obtain the blue crystal from the museum on fleet (this was tested with our guild members and they could not get the datacron without the blue crystal). If you wish to get the blue crystal before the event you can simply join the datacron event chat channel, be invited to group and summoned from anywhere in game. We will also soon be hosting a Makeb summon datacron event for the +10 endurance datacron on Makeb in the coming weeks using the same system.

For those of you who have been using SWTOR Voice (swtorvoice.com) for your pugs, communication with friends, and server events we apologize for the downtime. It seems the credit card we had on file with our domain registrant had expired so it could not renew the domain on 8/12/14. Major DOH! on my part. The Bannerless Order will host our monthly Fleet +10 All Stats Datacron Event (Imperial Side) on Saturday July 12, 2014 from 3 pm EST till 5 PM EST. All you need to bring is yourself to this event. Our helpful guides will guide you through getting the blue crystal, help you get into position to be pulled up to the datacron itself. Typically takes about 10 to 15 minutes from the time you arrive till you reach the datacron depending on how many people are waiting to be pulled up however this has become a popular event so allow some extra time in case there is a line. When the event starts, instructions will be given in general chat on how to join the event. Please do not spam our guild members helping with the event for invites as the only time you will need an invite is when our sages are summoning you up to the 3 different platforms to get the datacron. Any level can now obtain the datacron. This is a FREE event.

We have heard rumors that KDY is not providing double exp for mob kills. I am not sure if this has been confirmed yet.

This event is for all servers, the raiding coalition is just helping to admin the event. We have channels set up for all factions on all servers. This server is also live 24/7 for those who wish to use it for PUG groups and PUG OPs as a free service to the SWTOR community

During the event the SWTOR Voice Open Voice Chat Server will be used to facilitate groups and communication for groups to help grind the Kuat Drives Flashpoint. We are hoping this will help you level your alts and characters quickly while meeting new people from your server. The voice server has 500 slots and we will increase the number of slots if needed so that everyone can get in. To join the event simply log into the Open Voice Chat server using the instructions listed below and join your server and faction channel. Once in your will find others looking for groups for Kuat Drives. It is recommended for more efficient leveling that once you form a group you and your group attempt to complete the flashpoint as many times as possible as the same group looking for replacements as needed. We hope this event will help you find groups quicker while questing on planets and not having to sit on fleet looking for leveling groups or waiting on the group finder.
