  1. I could have sworn I specifically read a dev post stating that we'd be able to strip the mods out & RE the shell... and separately be able to RE the mods via artifice (obviously you can't do both because you can't be both synth/armormech AND artifice, but that's not the point)
  2. I am 400 Synthweaving.

I have an empty shell of a Campaign Force-Mystic's Lower Robe.

When I activate Reverse Engineering, I hover over it, it says I have a 20% chance to learn a schematic.

I click the item, it says I can't RE that item.

Am I doing something wrong or is this a bug?

  3. There seems to be an issue with the rankings because of this time problem. For example, check out Ambient's kill that was editted:

    Kill time: Apr 13 04:42, 994.64 points

    My guild's:

    Kill time: Apr 13 03:43, 992.15 points

We killed earlier and got fewer points. I'm just bringing this up to point out that something is happening when times are being editted... and the points aren't adjusting.

  4. What were you doing that caused that?

As for the time, use your local time, its automaticly converted to utc for you.

I was going through to submit kills for our normal clear...

I just submitted a bug ticket to be thorough. Essentially, it won't let me submit any kills because of that error.

Edit: is allowing me to add the kill I was trying to now.

Edit2: is now not letting me submit a 3rd kill. Going to try what I did earlier: closing the website & accessing it again.

Edit3: There we go, as long as I close the site in between each submission, I can submit. But it won't let me submit twice. It seems to be happening because it "remembers" the last time I submitted unless I reload the entire page. Navigating to other areas of the site didn't work.

  5. I'm doing that now Inzi, but it's going to take a while. No download cap for me, so I might as well keep it going until I hear more. Definitely disappointed, since I had a bunch of stuff I wanted to do before the patch.

And here all I was trying to do was get online to check for stims for you guys :( *cry* Let us know how that goes, eh? :)

  6. 16 man hits significantly harder than 8, yes. It's a pain in the rear to heal. Our healing assignments are usually:

2 on tank full time, 1 on raid almost full time, 1 on raid except during frenzy they switch to tank healing.

As the "swing" healer... I usually have to stay on the tank 70% of the time to give you an idea of how much healing our tank actually receives.

Make sure your tank isn't wasting cooldowns on non-frenzy otherwise frenzy will eat him alive. You healers just have to heal it :\

Edit: These are the healing assignments for 16 nightmare, sorry I misread I think. However, it should still work for normal ;)

  7. Can confirm that this tactic is a lot of fun!

Usually have a competition to see who gets the last kill, pretty much nullifies the time saving as people deliberately kb the wrong way so they can try again later lol.

Another fun knockback game is playing with the probes on Fabricator >>. Sadly, in 1.2 they'll despawn after the encounter finishes so we don't have much time to enjoy dying to things falling from the sky. Darn. What a shame. >>

  8. I'm confused on why you think leveling is the focus of the game. For a good portion of the population, leveling is a means to an end(game). To me, an mmo is about getting a max level character and then progressing in raid content and pvp and making it the best I can. While I agree that the endgame content we had at launch didn't really hold me over until now... I think the biggest reason for that is that it was just too easy. It should take a few weeks to down everything the first time, not a few hours.

That being said, we're looking at the next tier here. We get new quests, okay, it's not 10 new levels for you people who like to grind levels, but there are quests. We get a new operation with a new tier of gear. We get new game features with new things to seek--pets, legacy perks, a REASON to have millions of credits, a REASON to have professions other than biochem... personally, I am eager to see how this goes.

If you want a game where you're going to be questing forever, maybe an mmo isn't right for you?
