  1. Looking at the timeline, she was a padawan in 3681 BBY during the Fall of Korriban and The Old Republic takes place around 3642 BBY, making her around 55 years old.
  2. While I'm not yet in the EGA, you might want to consider trying the Catalyst 12.1 Preview drivers. They're the Catalyst 11.12 plus the improvements from the 11.11c driver, and it also "enables users to create per application profiles to individually control 3D and CrossFireX settings for Direct3D applications".
  3. The Radeon 6450 isn't really a gaming card; it only has 160 stream processors (in comparison, a Radeon 6770 has 800 stream processors of the same type and a Radeon 6850 has 960 of them). When looking for a decent gaming graphics card, I'd suggest only going with a graphics card that uses GDDR5 memory; it's hard to find a card that uses GDDR5 memory that isn't at least an adequate gaming card.
  4. Using Newegg.com as a guide, I'd suggest something like the iBUYPOWER Gamer Power 913i for $400 and a Sapphire 100338L Radeon HD 6770 for $110, $90 after MIR. Don't really like the look of the power supply in the computer (it looks to be an el-cheapo basic power supply) but it's rated to 480w which means it should be okay for the ~200w the setup should output under load.
  5. That's known as a slimline PC. Only low profile graphics cards would fit that design. It would be better to choose a standard width computer which will fit full sized graphics cards; 99% of the time you can recognize a slimline versus normal width PC by the DVD drive implementation; if the DVD drive is mounted horizontally it's a normal case while if it's mounted vertically it's a slimline case.
  6. No, it's not possible. Your laptop uses a Core i3-350M which has an Intel GMA HD graphics core on the processor itself.
  7. The ixbt link is a launch version (AMD had one manufacturer build all the launch cards, then the individual graphics card sellers put their sticker on it and box it as their own) while the first one you linked is a non-reference design (after a launch AMD and nVidia allow graphics card makers to make their own designs, and that's when you get differing cards with possible non-reference specs). Your Radeon 5770 can be crossfired with a Radeon 5750, 5770, 6750, or 6770. Since you're unsure about Crossfire, I feel I should remind you that you need a crossfire capable motherboard (one with two PCIe x16 graphics slots) if you want to run a crossfire setup.
  8. I work 7pm to 3:30am; it's 1:30am here at the moment and I just finished making my dinner before settling down to watch TV. Probably won't go to sleep until around 6am or later.
  9. AMD's previous drivers can be found here.
  10. To my knowledge there was only one driver that didn't work (Catalyst 11.8). I used the Cat 11.7 and 11.9 during beta (Radeon 6870) but haven't bothered to upgrade to the current drivers.
  11. Won't know until (probably) tomorrow if I get a name, but for the beta I just clicked on the random name repeatedly until I found one I liked or something that could be quickly editted into a name I like. I make too many characters to be attached to a certain name, and some of my previous names for fantasy genres don't quite fit the sci-fi genre. I'll probably check out the names I used in beta first, and if unavailable I'll used the random name generator until I find one that fits the theme of the characters I make.
