  1. I play about 6-8 hours a week and have 2 characters: Level 28 Smuggler and Level 15 Inquisitor.

Do you currently find that end game is to easy?

I am not even close to the end game yet.

Did you think the leveling was to quick?

I think the leveling is good how it is. If I played more often I may have a different opinion though.

Have you cleared all end game content on at least easy mode?

I am not even close to the end game yet.

  2. I have a level 28 Gunslinger and as far as dialog goes, it's the most fun I've played (with Agent being my second favorite). However, using cover gets old rather quickly.

I think that instead of the Cover mechanic, it should be a broader mechanic called Avoid. This would allow players to jump behind cover when it is available or simply dodge incoming attacks. It may make Smugglers and Agents more attractive to players.

  3. I thought that the purpose of Blues and Greens were so that you'd have something to reverse engineer. Then you can sell something useful like a purple item.

Every purple item I've put on the auction sold within a day and I've never bothered to put any Blues or Greens up.

  4. I got to level 27 without repeating a mission, grinding, doing a flashpoint, or doing PVP. Then I wanted to take a break from story missions and started doing PVP.

On each planet I would go through and do each mission (heroics included), find each datacron, location, race, etc. Basically I did all there was to do on each planet as I progressed. I'm now part way done on Tatooine.

  5. It would seem that the majority of this thread has turned into "what would you do if you were in control of SWTOR, instead of being in control of Star Wars."

If I were in control of Star Wars:

    Games:

Star Wars Rebellion 2 (not Empire at War). Where you can build on each planet like Imperium Galactica 2.

X-Wing/Tie Fighter sequel. Story-driven technical flight sim (power management, etc).

Battlefront 3 (heard they may be working on it again anyways).

    TV:

    Continue Clone Wars series.

    TV or BluRay Mini-series:

    Thrawn trilogy

  6. Huh, and here I thought I was Han Solo, well Solo-ette, the real Original Smuggler, Mal is a poor mans copy. ;)

While there are some similarities between Han and Mal, I think the main difference is in their intent and goal.

Han is in the business to make money and will gladly push people out of the way (or shoot first) if they are trying to stop him. He wants money. Period. Money is the goal.

Mal is in the business to be free from taking orders from anyone. He needs enough money to be free. No more. He sees money as a means to the goal.

If the Star Wars movies showed more character progression for Han, my opinion above may change.

  7. I find it funny that this many people are angry about Bioware attempting to fix the problems that the subscribers are complaining about.

I guess they can't win no matter what they do.

:t_evil: Why won't they fix this features?!

:mon_evil: Why do they have to fix this feature?!

  8. While I understand the issue with not being able to choose how the fight starts like Smugglers are designed to do, I no longer dislike the way conversations end in combat.

It has become a part of my character's personality to be more than willing to walk right up to a potential threat and laugh in their face before I use a flash grenade or kick them where the sun doesn't shine, sprint off to cover and turn them into Swiss cheese.

It would be interesting to be able to have a conversation with the NPC target during the fight. You yelling at them from cover while they yell back at you from cover. Sure it would pause the action but I think it could make for an interesting change of pace occasionally.
