I've returned from many years away from the game. I left after the server mergers. I was formerly in Limitless Gaming and our old guild message says to seek out Dogs of War or pub guild of Fortitude. It's a long shot that any of the people are still around, but you never know....

My only complaint is how downright horrible implementation of notification for Early Access is. I'm an adult gamer who has very little free time. I was expecting to find out weeks ago when I would have access to early play. That way I could set aside time to enjoy it. Getting an email the very day I can get in is ridiculous.

This isn't even close to accurate to what he is complaining about. He is simply saying there should be a limit on how many characters and names one person can have. If you camp out for tickets to a concert or show they have limits on how many tickets each person can get. It's not exactly a new concept in appeasing the masses.

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder. I imagine what has people peeved is the ambiguity on when they actually get in. It's the unknown that I think is getting people upset. Personally I don't care when I get in compared to others. What I think is a horrible failure on their part is not giving players more notice on when they will be able to play. I'm an adult with not a lot of free time to play whenever I want. My issue isn't with others getting in before me. Mine is simply that I have appointments I need to work around. If my email is poorly timed I may not get any early access at all simply because I won't be able to set aside time to play.

Using a couple names I've used in every MMO I've played was the reason I preordered. Not being able to use them isn't a huge issue. But I will be disappointed if what the OP posted is correct.

I think most people are upset about the ambiguity of when they get in. I know that is my issue. I'm an adult with not a lot of free time. Being able to plan to play would have been nice. I was expecting much more time ahead of my notice for when I"d be able to play.

This whole process is a black eye on an otherwise great experience so far. I'm not concerned about people getting in ahead of me. I simply expected to be notified much much earlier when I would have access so that I can plan my play time. Like many adult players I do not have the luxury of a lot of free time and actually have to plan ahead to play.

I'm not a fan of this Early Access sliding scale of invites. I don't mind getting in after someone who preordered before me, that isn't the issue. My issue is that I'd like notice on when I can start playing well before what they are apparently giving. Essentially I work two jobs. I have my career and I have a car I'm restoring that eats up most of the rest of my free time. It would be nice to be able to plan my play time, but apparently I have to wait till the last minute to make any kinds of plans. I have no problem with putting people on a sliding scale for Early Access, but the follow through on that plan is simply horrible.
