I've done the same thing before & it's a bit annoying at first. The nice part is, there is so much story that in time, you'll forget about this minor piece of the puzzle & be focused on the task & story at hand.

I thought about replying with some thoughtful counterpoints...
Then I realized how much of the OP is stereotypical generalizations. I would have to refute every sentence. I just don't have the energy or time. So I'll just say this:
I like PvP & I like this game. I like PvE & I like this game.
I like this game. It's not perfect. Nothing is.

CC breakers...
It's like some popular mmo released an expansion where you didn't have to use CC so nobody did. And now there are tons of mmo players who do not understand what CC is. This also goes for people pulling or attacking mobs with no consideration for the tank.

In light of this "something" being given to these unworthy, non-Collector's Edition players, I propose that the CE subscribers be given the following. Nae, I demand the CE community be given the following:
1. Admin rights on the forums.
2. An additional slot each to be used for the creation of a character that will have in game GM abilities.
3. Unlimited currency of every type used in the game.
4. The ability to delete any owner of a lesser version of the game's characters at will.
5. A life.

Explain what there is at lv 50 then? grind for gear. Do pvp which goes towards grinding for gear, do raids which, get this, goes towards grinding for gear. The word grinding sure popped up a lot there.
Now I somehow doubt you have ever played any MMO...

I have yet to wipe on any Instance & I have only played pugs. Of course, it's early on but...
so far, I see no reason for a meter.
Maybe I'm just lucky.

First of all; great thread. I'm just going to throw in my 2 cents here.
Implement Chat Bubbles
Standing next to players, it's sometimes hard to get their attention if they are not looking at the chat window & are looking more directly at the center of the screen where the majority of the game play takes place. It's not so much about the bubble itself as it is about an easy way to recognize that a player is trying to communicate with you.
Player Bounty System
This was mentioned previously in this thread but I just wanted to direct people to a game called Age of Wushu. This game has a PvP bounty system that, at it's core, would have worked really well in SW:TOR. Open world PvP with a player funded bounty system.
