  1. Aha! You do use AMD/ATI as do I. The game is poorly optimized FOR ATI. The game is running great bro on NVidia cards. Read my previous post to understand.
  2. Sorry you're wrong mate. I've seen it first-hand. 200 People in Fleet, 50+ Frames using nVidia GTX 5xx Series. I use AMD/ATI and I hate to see this happen. It has become apparent that the developers created the using NVidia and it was most likely built/tested around them. I'm guessing you are using ATI as well.
  3. OP here. To contribute to my own thread, I have issues with a high end ATI GPU, and I see a major trend in all the posts that have been made in the forums. GTX 5xx series seem to be problem free for a vast majority of users.
  4. Lag - 1. Fall behind in movement, progress, or development; not keep pace with another or others. Lag can mean many things, and when referring to "Lag" and "Fleet", it is obvious we are talking about FPS issues. Try to keep up please.
  5. Please include your GPU (Video Card). Much appreciated.
  6. I'm a Bachelor of IT/BSA. Trust me when I say my machine is optimized.
  7. I play a Jugg/Marauder and trust me when I say my Jugg tops the damage charts and eats people in PVP. Sorry to say but, you are doing it wrong.
  8. Please read the first sentence of my original post, or better yet, let me help your royal laziness by saying that 11.12 is the latest driver, and I have tried it with worse results than the WDDM driver.
  9. Please read the original post before making replies.
  10. 13 minute bump not too soon . Is this now what I am suppose to be doing here?!?
  11. I have tried many different drivers including 11.8-11.12 with no improvement. I run great in most PVE environments averaging 75+ FPS. I dip to 10-20 in Fleet and WZ's. Help is appreciated. I'm starting to think this is an ATI related issue, as the majority of these issues seem to be coming from ATI/AMD GPU users. My machine is fully optimized and updated.
  12. This is why I re-rolled a Jugg after getting a 40 Marauder and finding out what all I DIDN'T get in comparison to the Jugg, which had everything I wanted. The only advantage to a Marauder is having 2 Light sabers, and that's mostly because it looks cool.
  13. If you read my post earlier, this is exactly what I said would happen. I hope Bioware knows they are losing players and will continue to do so until the problem is resolved. They had acknowledged the problem, but this most recent exploit of information has left us disappointed and angered. I just hope that in reality, Bioware is fully aware of the gratitude of the issue, and are working around the clock to fix it. Let's Hope.
  14. Sorry to point out that your math is wrong. Statistically, only a very small percentage of players that have issues on any game, post in the forum for that game. That being said, there has been literally thousands of posts about the FPS issues in SWTOR. Thousands. If less than 10% of the game population that are having issues post about it, and thousands of posts are created already, and hundreds more appear every day, there is a serious issue going on, and Bioware knows it. They have acknowledged the issue, but the last thing they are going to do is admit its seriousness. Doing that would mean certain doom to the future as interested players would not want to play a game with such serious issues. Making a statement claiming a ridiculous 5% were having issues was made to save the company a lot of money. If only 5% of the TOR population was having a problem, a statement would have never been made, and the question would have never been asked. With the thousands of features/changes/stories/etc to ask/talk about, why would Magazines/Websites/Critics ask such a specific question? Because FPS issues have flooded these forums, Reddit, FileFront, GameSpot, and so many others it's ridiculous. Defending the issue at this point is obsurd, and it won't stop people from leaving the game or not playing it at all because of it.
  15. People like you who are in the minority of players who are not having the issue, obviously does not understand what is going on here. It is obvious that you have no technical knowledge at all, or you wouldn't make dumb statements. As a IT/BSA, and an owner of an extremely high-end gaming machine, trust me when I say I can play ANY game on the market without my computer even breaking a sweat, that SWTOR has some MAJOR performace problems system/server/code side. My computer and drivers are completely updated and optimized. I could go into much greater detail about why I know what I'm talking about, but you wouldn't understand the technical garble.
  16. HeroEngine is single-threaded. You obviously don't know what that means. Please do some research before you create posts that make you look retarded.
  17. As a Guildmaster with over 300 members, I can honestly say that people that are having performance issues are 10 to 1 to those that do not. As I've said before, you shouldn't have to have a $3000 computer to play this poorly optimized game efficiently. Most of the complains in guild chat are from those with $1500-$2000 High-End Machines. This will ruin this game if it is not fixed immediately.
  18. This is obviously a server/system side issue because these forums are littered with people complaining about framerate issues with very high gaming specs. When you see complaints from literally THOUSANDS of people with hardware from 560ti's to 6970's to 32 GB's of Gaming DDR3 Ram & $1,000 Intel Processors at 4Ghz and 12MB of L2/L3 Cache, you stop asking questions like, "What are your specs", and you start saying things like "I believe this is most likely a game-side issue.
  19. Not. The patch did not address or fix any of the serious issues with this game, the main one being the frame rate issues. As the game stands, PvP doesn't exist. Warzones are filled with people just trying to get their dailies. Latency is ridiculous, and FPS lag is as bad as it ever was. To my knowledge, dev's have not EVEN ACKNOWLEDGED that there is an frame rate issue that can or cannot be fixed. I am a Guildmaster of over 300 people and we're all pissed to say the least. All we want, is for Bioware to acknowledge the issue and let us know that they are working on it. Bump if you agree.
  20. OP is completely right. Bump so Bioware sees this and does something about it.
  21. They have one....., and it's short range, low damage, and reduces healing....
  22. I just realized Marauders don't get Saber Throw either. I'm re-rolling a Jugg.
  23. If this is true, then why do Marauders not get Force Push?
  24. Yes. It adds versatility to a vast amount of situations. There is no reason in the lore, or in the game to not at least give this to Marauders for added depth. Not giving it to them at all is just as bad as not giving Force Choke, or Force Charge.
