  1. So, why doesn't BioWare add the option of switching your advanced class, once, on level 20/30 or some such number? That way your choice is still with consequence, you can't be switching roles for what you want, but it allows for a mistake to be made. Seriously, making an unforgivable mechanic in an MMO that's bound to be full of 13 y/o newbies and people in deep raging puberty?
  2. People comparing WoW at its prime with SWTOR, instead of comparing the ****fest WoW at launch was, with SWTOR. SWTOR is, at worst, equal in quality to WoW pre-eye of the storm patch. Or whatever the last patch before BC was, that gave the 41 point talents. Also, WoW is right now pretty much dying, so SWTOR doesnt NEED to compete with it so much as last until its polished. Also, to respond a bit to OP: There is target of target. You can skip the quests, also grinding pvp or other things is as rewarding with experience as quests, so you can easily switch off. WoW didn't start with addons too, no MMO did, this will have addons in a few months. The responsiveness is almost as good as WoW, better than most MMOs, WoW was horribly unresponsive at the start. I can add more, but you get the picture.
  3. Let you have a chance to respecc at, say, level 30/40?
  4. Wow this is a staggering mistake. New players are expected to know EXACTLY what they want to play the ENTIRE game at level 10?
  5. As many people have done so far, I picked an advanced class, not entirely sure what it actually WAS and now regret the decision. Is it possible to respecc your advanced class?
  6. Oh my god, the Italians, the Spanish, SWG Chimaera and Anarchy online chose Tomb of Freedon Nadd as their unofficial main server. Welp, good job guys....
  7. Well, OBVIOUSLY http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eMvUlAj6f1M
  8. So what you're saying is, the official launch date isn't when people start playing on the official servers with which the game will run, but the first maintenance?
  9. So, what exactly do you qualify pre-release and why is the 13th pre-release date any different from the 20th and with WHAT is it different?
  10. It's a marketing trick to ensure Bioware can say they had the only stable MMO launch ever. Giving themselves 7 weeks of an error margin ensures this. Only they forgot communication, so it will be remembered as the usual crap MMO launch.
  11. Told us the truth that they want a smooth launch instead of the usual crapfest of an MMO launch, for implied marketing purposes AND KEPT UP MOTHER****ING COMMUNICATION DURING THE EGA. SERIOUSLY, COMMUNICATION IS THE *********** KEY.
  12. Ok, so basically all october pre-orders are awaiting a bonus wave, if its possible. COME ON BIOWARE!
  13. Guys, are we next? Last wave of invites spanned all of september. Do you think half of october is possible for the 4th?
  14. Slight bump, since I'm surprisingly not banned and the thread is still not locked!
