  1. And look at your actual binding for it. It'll say "end"
  2. Yes you can use numpad keys as they are currently, but they aren't special keys. They'll share the same bindings as end, downarrow, pgdgn leftarrow or 1234567890 etc
  3. No it's not a feature that is locked by windows. Games are able to ignore the numlock status if they are programmed to. Like I said above, Half-Life did this. You could bind KP_5 to move forward and press numlock any amount of times, and it would still move forward if you pressed it.
  4. This is a feature that really needs to be in any mmo. Right now there are 2 states for numpad keys. The 8 key can either be UPARROW or 8 depending on the state of the NUMLOCK. This turns out to be a huge problem in a game where numlock is used for autorun. Here's the suggestion. Allow the numpad keys to act as their own key. Ignore the state of the numlock and bind the keys as their own key. kp_end, kp_downarrow, kp_pgdn, kp_leftarrow etc. This is how half-life bound the numberpad keys. This adds: 1. New keys to bind to 2. You don't have to worry what state the numberlock toggle is in.
