Seriously? You really think that? I've see nothing but huge praise for their music. They have full out insane orchestras for this game. I don't know what you've been listening to. Welcome, I knew a lot of WoW folks were psyched for this game, originally I was irritated when I first heard about it because I wanted a KOTOR 3 RPG. Well, after playing beta it was like KOTOR3x1000 on crack with folks you can adventure with. I've never had this much satisfaction playing any other MMO game from day 1. Folks in WoW who like really good story lines, and lots and lots of lore, which SWTOR has it will bring a lot of those players here. They love the VO, the choices in dialogue, the fact that you affect your story line with LS/DS options, nothing like that is available in WoW. After grinding dull, boring quests for years in WoW and going into a vegetative state, this game is a huge breath of fresh air for many in that game.

We are the players yes, it's our job to give good feedback on what we want for end game, I agree I don't want just instances to run either, that's why we have to really think out of the box and help them to do so also.

This game will hurt WoW somewhat I think but not kill it, that being said there are a lot of ppl leaving WoW for TOR, I was amazed at some of the threads I've seen concerning that. One guild leader of a big guild, played WoW for years then played the beta and couldn't even log into WoW anymore he said, that's a pretty big impression. And this was on the WoW forums. And a lot of guild members are leaving to join with him. WoW is killing itself quite well. Lost over 2m subs this year and continues to hemorrhage subs every day. A lot of folks weren't too happy with pandas either because they aren't happy that pandas are going to be the big guys in town now and be the new flavor, plus a lot thought they looked ridiculous and more class imbalances will occur. WoW isn't dead but it's definitely on a BIG decline. It's not creative in the least anymore and people seem to be getting more bored with each new expansion that comes out, I have a feeling the pandas xpac will bleed even more. This time next year they'll prob lose several more millions of subs. Who knows by then TOR may be the big kid on the block.

Well if he's hanging out with Vette that's definitely what he's doing, that's the same VA who did the VO for mission vao in KOTOR, I can't believe that woman still sounds like a 14 yo it's unreal, and a bit weird but she's an adult.

Well post the specs of your comp., other wise pretty tough to tell ya. In addition there is a website, can't remember the name of it, it tests your comp out to see if you can run the game, google it, something like test comp mmo game etc. It will have a list of MMO's just find the old republic and test it out. My guess though is that you prob would want to get a new comp for it, I doubt your laptop is built for gaming. You can get desktops very cheap now for around 600, ridiculous and they're beast machines compared to the best PC's 2-3 years ago.

No idea, I'm fortunate that I get in tomorrow so ya I'll be jumping on one of the brand new PvP-RP servers. I imagine that it would cost something for a character transfer though, other wise I'd just re-roll on a brand new one.

Well, I had a hard time deciding too, was going to go empire originally on a RP-PvP server but looks like most folks are starting out empire so I'd like a good challenge. In beta I tried out BH, SI and JK, all were great and the story lines were great. BH mechanics wise was fun as all get out. I played a DS JK though because I didn't want to play by the jedi code either. Go Jedi DS if you don't want to stick to the jedi code it's a heck of a story line and it got so good I can't pass it up and I have to see what happens anyway. You'll be blown away by what you can do.

You could always hop on one of the new servers and do it there tomorrow. You won't be with your guild but hey they'll be up tomorrow.

I saw star wars new hope when I was 4 or 5, just before empire strikes back came out, then went with my parents to see it. I was scared ****less most of the time but I enjoyed the heck out of it, Vader and the emperor really creeped me out.

o/, I don't know why I do but it's just fun as all get out. Funny playing as a fat trooper in beta sounded like he was straight out of good fellas.

BH are a blast to play, soldiers are too, I was going to play SI too but I'll re-roll that later, like them but way too many spam force lighting out there for me. I'm going jedi knight first on a rp-pvp server, I already know empire will outnumber republic so I'd rather have a challenge, plus the JK story line DS is fantastic need to know what happens. Well I need to know what happens in each story line so that will take me about a year and be a lot of fun.

Be pretty cool if we could take them on their own quest with another companion etc., c'mon think out of the box. Lots of things one could do with that. I'm being creative and thinking out of the box.

They never had quests a long time in games they just grinded mobs, then they added quests because grinding mobs was so boring, then that got stale as all get out with the constant text and boring quests one got, now we have very interesting quests with VO, as you say it is a big leap forward. It's pretty cool I played KOTOR again and realized that mission and vette are the same VA.

This game will definitely be a hit, I've played every p2p MMO out there, none of them even came close to the same satisfaction I got playing this game. And the pre-order numbers are insane.
