  1. lulz. That one went over raid designer's heads. It's kind of like 'ok we're going to make sure they can't cheese this fight anymore'. Players: 'Let's cheese this HARDER'.
  2. Updated to here. Added slots for 15 to indicate to keep uploading for those fights that previously looked full. There are still no fights with 15 different people uploading parses as of yet. One that does happen though, sniper parses will be limited to 5 per fight.
  3. Was that not patched for 8-man? Patch notes said if you damage Vilus Garr and Sunder both below 50% simultaneously they enrage etc.
  4. I won't be updating all the time - it may take a week or more at times but I got it now. I'm keeping track of updates based on post # so I probably won't miss any..but if you see that my 'Updated through post __' is past your post# and I did miss it..then you can let me know.
  5. Hadn't really thought about that edit - since it's in the middle of the fight and not necessarily at the end, you'd have to change timestamps for everything which, I'd have to say is not only a massive headache but non-legit. The 30 second(?) stabby stab is definitely a lame RNG mechanic which can be noted in a detail line if you feel necessary.
  6. If it's a kill and you die just before the end, what you can do is edit the log to add X number of seconds between your death and the kill. Having a guildmate post a log (which you can link) for this same fight is the ideal so it's plainly displayed 'this is what happened'. And you can also change the word 'death' into 'exitcombat', given the above.
  7. Remember to post your modes people - 16 or 8 man. There were a large number of posts since my last update in which I can't tell. Where that is the case, your submission will be omitted. Also if everyone could take the effort to post in the same format as Evrydayimsmuggln (or possibly certain 8man posters for paowee's sake), that'd make this way easier for me to maintain - color tags, size tags etc, I can just quote and copy/paste that way. If you don't know how to do that, hit quote on post#1 and it'll show it all. Updated to here.
  8. Please format correctly and provide links. Since you're with Severity I assume 16m but that also needs to be specified.
  9. These two links were broken if you can provide a fixed one. Added them anyway though as I'm sure they're legit
  10. For 8-man, top 15 IMO. Allowing a display of the max potential of all classes is important, both for us as players and hopefully, Bioware (so they stop telling sorcs/sages, and probably eventually assassins/shadows to just heal to full in order to win the game).
  11. The Terror from Beyond 8-man 2201.37 DPS - Airwolfe - Chosen - Marauder - Carnage 5/36/5 Gear Profile: 7.6/14 Kell Dragon (MH, OH) http://www.torparse.com/a/399737/3/0/Damage+Dealt Detail: Removed 10 mins of sitting around in combat (an anomaly was unkilled when TFB died), left in final line of TFB being damage immune to signify the fight was over. Listed DPS is without the void disturbance of 144.65 DPS. I see several have included their void disturbance damage so, 2346.02 DPS if chosen to add it.
  12. heh if you mean all 4 from the get go..hopefully people will look at the parse and note the cheesiness - stuff like that really detracts from the 'achievement factor' in my mind, if it actually is a detriment to the raid.
  13. Gotcha. I'll remove that statement then, never paid attention to dot resets as I play Carnage.
  14. If the top 5 are a consecutive class on any given fight (i.e. sniper/gunslinger), ya I'm in favor of making that the cut off, and reserving the rest of that board for other classes. If that happens in the 16m board, will implement, but seems unlikely it'll be the case.
  15. Updating to put DPS at the front as paowee did, I agree it looks better/more accessible that way. Also, you may include an optional line to account for RNG aspects, such as: Detail: 8 firebugs. 20 seconds stop dps
  16. A few out of order there on 8 man Titan 6 fyi. Also..wtb more people posting 16 man parses. Any feedback on rules, discussion etc. welcome
  17. You'll want to edit this log to before your death. You may cut the end up until the point Writhing Horror dies..or leave some of the add damage on the end. Either way, at least in my rules is legit. Since it's 8-man though, paowee makes the call.
  18. 8 man Dash'Roode (from 8-1) Airwolfe - Chosen - Marauder - Carnage 5/36/5 - 2825.59 http://www.torparse.com/a/364107/12/0/Damage+Dealt
  19. Thrasher 8 man. Airwolfe - Chosen - Marauder - Carnage 5/36/5 - 2733.41 http://www.torparse.com/a/380597/15/0/Damage+Dealt Gear profile: 6.6/14 Kell Dragon Edited adds off the end. Thrasher's death line can be found at the end of the log so I guess I got the KB there, for some added validation.
  20. See proper formatting in paowee's post to make this thread easier to maintain.
  21. Post #3 has been updated quite a bit with what I consider to be valid edits, most are applicable for both 16 and 8. Discuss if anything is needed - but I think these listed edits will equalize parses and account for random irrelevant bits while not cheating anything/allowing equal footing.
  22. I've added some clarification on what I consider to be a legit parse on Olok, in post #3. I know the coding is kind of crap on this fight and randomly drops combat. But in order to have a legitimate Olok parse, all phases must be included. I'm sure fenrir can update that log if so inclined but for now I removed it.
  23. I would like some feedback on this expanded rule. It's definitely complicated, but I think these edits comply with what I overall think is a 'legit kill parse' - tougher to edit and tougher to validate, but as a DPS I do know that sometimes you will do everything you can and still die within the last 5 seconds of the fight when your guild goes on to kill it. I think those instances should be considered for a leaderboard (with that extra empty time added at end, reducing your actual dps). Interested to hear any thoughts on it though. It's certainly much simpler to just say 'no deaths whatsoever' but I do think that could exclude a high number of record parses in NiM.
