    lol yes and they all to a degree have the exact same skills and animations depending on weapon.. why even have them just make them all gsi driods.... and most you cant even equip after kofe and who ever designed the new ones needs to learn to pick cloths out and or paint... as

    I like being able to choose the companion who looks and sounds the way I want, and know that I'm not less effective because of my choice. My gamer-OCD prevents me from choosing a less-effective companion if I know it will do .0001% less DPS.

     

    A companion's appearance, voice, background story, and the quality of their banter can affect how the player feels about the companion, and therefor, how they feel about the game. You will either love or hate Gus. Some people want to play with their class story spouse. And some may just want to run around with a cute Twi'lek.

     

    My ability to choose the companion I want to play with instead of which is best for me in a given situation is important to me. I don't want to be less effective for having made that choice.

    im sorry but allot of comps now especially new ones and ones like wookies etc can not be dressed now so your basicly lieing about changing their looks

    No offense, but you can bite your own lips and then jump out an airlock. Sometimes I spend a long time on fleet just browsing the GTN, or in my collections window piecing outfits together, or buying and giving comp gifts, or, you know, JUST SOCIALIZING. I don't need your permission or judgement on how I spend the time I pay for in-game as long as I'm not stepping on anyone's toes (an important distinction). And yeah, I see a lot more than just one or two every couple of hours and it really f***ing kills any and all desire I might have to even be near them. Their f***ing blaster and lightsaber handles are probably all sticky and have little hairs on them too.

     

    Now, at this point, you're probably ready to mansplain to me how my feelings are wrong and I'm some kind of hypocrite for judging you and not letting you play the game you want, and to that I say, watching some sad, lonely, pathetic excuse for a gamer-bro dragging a character I might actually care about and look up to through the filth because he is sad and lonely and pathetic is something that really f***ing turns me off to this community in general, and If you, the person reading this, do that kind of crap and then wonder why more women aren't into gaming? Look in the mirror for your answer.

     

    The whole problem with "Lana in a bikini" could be solved with one line of code, the same one that prevents me from parading Quinn around in the same bikini (which if any comp freakin' deserves it's him). And guess what! If these people really are as rare as you say, then disabling it for her and Senya would only impact a minuscule fraction of the community, so you should have no problem with it!

     

    Unless you are one of those people.

    I will.

     

    It's *********** fantastic. Sure, a handful of missions could use some tuning to the new mechanic, but by and large it has been a wonderful thing compared to what we had. Especially for people leveling who want the choice between powerleveling as fast as they can and exploring every mission each planet has. Both still level at a notable pace, and the latter continues to gain full rewards for 90% of everything they do (rather than only about 10% as it was previously).

     

    Not having to spend an hour mowing through some trash just to get to a boss in which you had to fight five minutes, in which all you did was press the same 4-5 buttons over and over and over until you wanted to blow your brains out), all multiple times per planet? Yeah, glad that's gone. That was just pure, unmitigated tedium and was never fun. Anyone who tries to claim otherwise has mental damage and needs to get that checked out.

     

    so now you just go afk for 5 min s is better lol... this made tedium even worse... But hey your the kind of person thaty watches reality shows and think that stuff happens for real..

    actually general chat was raiseing kane about some of the changes especially companions and even class story bosses you had to go back to lower planets to face being level sync... some of the changes are good many where unneeded and just lazy fixes so they wouldnt have to work to much...

    I just spent a lot of credits on my companions - I'm pissed !!!

    The influence you had with them is still there. They are exactly the same as they were prior to this change, you didn't actually lose anything and you don't have to start over.

     

    All they did was make the Max higher than it was. I'm not saying making the max higher was a great decision, but you are not in fact out anything.

     

    You are incorrect.. If do kofe you lose companions... tweek and HK suck after some used real money with no compensation... Most of the companions now are just copys with a different skin... that counts as a loss... we wont even go into how bad the custimization for them is now...

    well coompleted all of it including idiotic 20 warzone crap to get one back for empire... And guess what bounty hunter companions except for a generic tweek and HK that cant use anything but weapon non of the bounty hunter camponions are back.. Guess they firgured next year maybe if anyones stupid enough to keep subbing.. this has made me cancel mine

    no one complained about str... Now you have generic copys of each other ... KoFe is even worse you get none back or have to do warzones etc... stupid little quests and even then as a bounty hunter i got NONE of my original companions back in the whole 7 hours it took to do new story and the flash point..

    Why recruit multiple companions now 1 can be DPS/Heal?Tank??

    nope,,, Jorg AS an example hes the same as Corso as both use blaster rifles and sniper rifles WITH no corrections to the conversation in banter.. LOL Torchy anyone LOL banter for allot do not match anymore... they should just remove it and the storys make each one the same as each companion is basicly the same a healer/dps/tank with absolutely no dif in each one but a couple of copy and paste animations,,,
