  1. Well...As a subscriber...

You get a preferred status...Access to ALL content...A monthly stipend of cartel counts (face it, you'd spend just as much on coins a month as you would on subscription anyway)...

Well worth it. The more premium subscribers, the better. F2P is just to wet people appetite.

Do you wanna have the all you can eat buffet, or the cafeteria selection?

...Not to mention, being a subscriber also spares you the...Unfortunately inevitable treatment of F2P players as second class citizens...Because gamers are [censored]holes like that...

  2. Aren't Echanni simply white haired humans?

Handmaiden from Kotor2 for example, was Echanni.

...No thank you, we have enough Human-esque races...

As for Mando's...Bounty Hunters...That is all.

Taung, however...Yes, please, but I think they MAY be extinct at this point in the universe. Don't quote me on that though.

  3. "I don't PvP" how else do you think someone is going to take that then? What compelled you to butt in on a subject you don't even care about? If anything, you're the one being a *******.

Who says I'm butting in? I saw a topic, felt I had some advice with some amount of worth, and shared it. You're the one acting like I just [censored] your grandmother at the thanksgiving table.

  4. Thanks for keeping my thread bumped I guess! Even if it is with completely useless posts as you have no stake in this conversation.

...You make it sound like I'm deliberately trying to ruin your thread. Again, I'm simply offering advice. No need to be a [censored] about it.

  5. lmao, you just came in here to be the first person to disagree with something. I hardly call that taking a stance, you don't really care do you?

I don't PvP, but I understand the concept and the allure. I'm not disagreeing with you, I'm offering an insight into a way to perhaps find the joy in it minus the desire for gear. If you want to take that as disagreeing, again, you're call.

  6. Yes we did. Yesterday at The Foundry. This Juggernaut was rolling need on everything. He probably thought he'd get away with it as a tank. So we simply kicked him. We had to wait quite a while for a new tank, but hey! It felt sooooo f... good to kick the tank!

...Well, I would have kicked him too. There's a certain level of etiquette.

  7. Bioware clearly disagrees with you because they offer multiple rewards for competing against fellow players. I just don't think there are enough right now while doing it before level 50.

Agree with me, disagree, that's my stance. Take it, or leave it.

  8. I work as a care provider for a young gent with Cerebral Palsy. My duties are usually domestic...Get him up, bathe him, shave, brush teeth, dress him...Feed him, keeping the apartment clean and tidy, do his shopping...

Despite all this, there is a remarkable amount of downtime. Hence why I'm here even now.

If I had a laptop that was capable of SWTOR, I'd be playing THAT now.

  9. RPing in an MMO is a lot simpler than you're probably thinking. It's primarily the use of emotes to express your character to other players, and speaking not as you, yourself, but as your character.

The number one rule, though, of SWTOR RP is...never take your class story as your character story, because sure you can say you're Darth Baras's apprentice, but so am I...so is she, and any other Sith Warrior you meet. See the dilemma?

Most create a separate entity from their class story, or alter it to fit their needs.

[The holo-transmission you receive while traveling Hutt Space flickers as an ad begins to play, displaying a rogueish Zabrack with a Speeder Salesmans grin, enhanced by the scars that run the corners of his mouth, easing back in an overstuffed armchair]

"Hello. Are you a pirate at heart but imprisoned by a Soldiers regulations? A saucy wench trapped in a Jedi's robes? Are you a giving person? A person of the people? Are you looking for more in life than waging war? Maybe you want to help people. Make people happy during these dark and troubling times..."

[The Zabrak stands, gesturing aside with his arms.]

"I'm Smiling Jack, Chairman and CEO of Nar Shadda Exotic Imports. My goal, My mission, is to help people, in any way I can, with whatever I can. But I can't do it alone. I need people, good, honest, freedom loving people, to fulfill a number of well rewarding positions within the company..."

  11. Patience is key. Heck, I just hit my first 50, started in January. Now I have to look into raiding and warzones, because I know suck on the 50 scale level XD.

Didn't even know you could purchase Recruit gear. It's hilarious.

As for not PvP content, I'm focusing on other characters, because the stories are phenomenal.
