  1. I think that to support this idea EA should do what Wildstar and WoW have done. Buy game tokens with real money and sell on GTN. Players can buy the tokens with credits and then use token for 1 month subscription (under one price clause so no inflation). That way people who grind credits can play for free and people who want credits can buy with real money.
  2. It would be nice to see multi-player Mount's again like in Star Wars Galaxies. It's obviously possible as it was done in that game which is years old. We even had 8 person lava skiff's, so basically any of the SWG multi-player mounts would be great (landspeeders etc). Also it would be nice to see these speeders/mounts actually sped up cause they feel very slow in the game.
  3. I imagine we will see a lot more decorations in cartel packs etc, I just hope they get added to in game stuff as well.
  4. Ah yea I didn't notice that, to be honest I am finding the rug hooks are really restrictive, there isn't enough of them. But then I am finding the whole hook system to be a bit restrictive, it was better in SWG where you could place an item anyway (rotate...place up or down etc)
  5. I agree with everyone here that the ships cost too much, they should of made this a legacy thing. If you completed chapter 3 with a class you unlock that class starship to place on your stronghold. Not these way over the top expensive dark projects.
  6. Yea I totally agree with you we need more NPC's (it be nice for some to walk a patrol path or something to make it look more natural and a big thing...MORE THAN 25 NPC's please)
  7. Ah shame they are not in the game cause they look cool, hopefully there will be an update or cartel pack with them in.
  8. sorry I forgot to add it, I edited the original post. It's there now. EDIT: I saw your edit lol
  9. Hi all, I noticed on a previous screenshot tweet from official SWTOR twitter account that there was 3 holo banners on the wall and I was wondering if anyone knows this is in the game at all as it's the first I have seen of it. (Or if developers could say if it's coming to game in future pack/patch?) Nar Shadda Screenshot Thanks
  10. Yea I would like to see the cut-scene repeated when you go to your strongholds (or at least a shortened version). They got it working for guild ships (cut-scene of you flying to your guild ship) every time you go there so why not your stronghold. Also I can confirm like others you do see the decorations on the cut-scene as I have been to my stronghold with alts and seen through the windows etc.
  11. Any other suggestions for open world pvp?
  12. Good replies so far, and to the worry of faction imbalance as stated above you give a boost buff to the "weaker" side by whatever percentage to meet the opposing faction ...this was also done in WoW with wintergrasp. Also as someone else said the "rewards" I was thinking of was Battlezone rewards only, not stuff you get off warzones, again these can be exclusive "fluff" stuff like mounts, special look weapons (like they have done on cartel market). Also to compete with zerging (like some mentioned GW2 and I totally agree with you WvWvW is boring cause it's just zerging), there could be defender and attacker objectives like for example "Battle of Hoth" Attackers must strike targets to progress forward i.e This idea could be used as open world or large instance: BATTLE OF HOTH: TRENCHES - (defenders would hold the line) then once attackers completes that objective the defenders fall back to the next objective SHIELD GENERATOR - same deal again defenders try to hold the shield while attackers try to detonate charges on generator (or vehicle's could be added as siege type vehicles) BASE - attackers have broken throw - defenders must hold the base long enough for everyone to evacuate (timer based) BASE COMMAND CENTRE - attackers have broken through and have gathered intel - report back to empire. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- So that's a basic idea I was thinking, to add star wars excitement to the battlezones and of course you get rewards based on contribution to war and if you stay for the whole event.
  13. Hey Bioware I had an two idea's about "Open world PvP" and how to implement it, Ilum and Tatooine (outlaws den) are currently not being used due to no "incentive" to go, you could take a leaf out of Star Trek Online books and have a a kinda of open world pvp hour (a few of these through the day/night). For example looking at a built in event calendar it would have "Outlaw's Den Battle" at like 12pm-1pm (you could rotate areas with different times like Ilum at 4pm-5pm etc) Then everyone participating in the "battle" in that area would get a reward based on how much you participated (yes rip off from guild wars 2 I know but it works) and an extra bonus reward for staying the course of the entire battle (so even if you get gold status for enough particpating, staying the whole event would lead to an event reward) Rewards could be useful PvP gear or massive WZ commendations or even "fluff" stuff (like battle mounts, even animal mounts like Tauntan mount if event is at hoth per say) This idea would be based on lv50 combat (or new level endgame) as it would give incentive for max levels to return to older planets (you could include all planets in rotations) Now that was the first idea, the second idea would be instanced based and you could use existing areas (like outlaw's Den). This could be implemented into the current PvP queue rotations, where you have our existing warzone's which are small number based and then you have large Battlezones where it would be 20v20 on much larger fields (again you could use existing areas on planets' like hoth, ilum, tatooine but they be instance based. These could be 20 minute battles with greater pvp rewards. These Battlezones could have an opening and closing cutscenes (like you got on a couple of wz's) These battlezones could feel really epic like you are part of a star wars film battle (think battle of hoth etc). So there are two options there for large open world pvp, I think these would be a great addition to the pvp structure in your game, hopefully you are reading these posts to notice this idea.

  15. Totally agree, this is one thing I would like to see implemented in game, it's been over a year since beta/early access and still none of the following: CHAT BUBBLES SITTING DOWN IN SEATS (you can do it in your ship but for some reason no where else???) FIXING TWILIK LAKKU'S FOR HOODS CANTINA MINIGAMES (Like pazzak, sabaac) SERVER TRANSFERS (Especially now servers are stable or maybe some server mergers for RP-PVP on EU side as we don't have one. I am on PvP server which is great but am missing the RP immersion) UPDATED GROUP FINDER (to include all operations and all modes not just EV, KP storymode) Don't get me wrong it's great to hear of new content and expansions, I am very happy to here of possible more PVP WZ's as the PvP in this game is top notch. But please sort these items out which are on a year long list, hell get another team to work on these while you all work on future updates. These aren't game breaking things but it's the small things that matter to people. Most of us have been here since early access and stood by watching the game grow, but please don't destroy the game by ignoring these problems which obviously are starting to annoy people. Hopefully you are reading this Bioware, we have faith in you but trust your community fix the little things even over the upcoming patches and you will have more support from your fanbase. Thanks
  16. Happy Christmas everyone at EA and Bioware. Also happy christmas to all the community.
  17. Yea when I did Explosive conflict (Denova), we were in Teamspeak. The game does need a built in voice chat system for PUGGING ops, FP and PvP.
  18. Good replies so far, I can see what people are saying about nightmare modes it might be a bit much for PUGS. But no offense I PUGGED all operations so far. A lot of people wouldn't want to PUG operations and I totally understand that but give people the option to use group finder who don't mind PUGGING and to the person above who said all operations should be removed in group finder are you serious? Eternity Vault and Karagga's Palace Storymodes are really easy (Denova onwards is a bit trickery) With the other comment about in game voice chat for FP's / OP's, I totally agree with you it needs to be added.
  19. There are ways for the system to check your gear and it would tell you whether you would be eligible to to join queue or not. Not to go on the WoW wagon but their group finder locks your out until you have decent enough gear for harder dungeons etc, same thing can be applied here.
  20. With "Rise of the hutt cartel" - one part of me thinks great it's only £5.99 and we will get Makeb, level cap, new storylines etc the other part of me thinks hang on didn't they say in E3 EA conferance this year that it's free (inlcuding new race: cathar) I do hope they plan and annouce more than what they are saying otherwise it will feel like we arepaying for a patch not an expansion. I too agree with others I would rather pay more for a full fledge get it from the shops Expansion with new classes, races, planets, act 4 etc than what at the moment seems like a nice patch. So basically I feel kinda 50/50 about this one, we'll have to see what future annoucements will say, hopefully something we don't already know about since summer 2012.
  21. The group finder seems really dated it needs an update that includes all operations and hardmode / nightmare modes. It still really annoying to wait around the fleet trying to get into the new operations (TFB) or HM (trying to get the weekly quests done) The new take you back to where you were option is great but all your got operation wise is Eternity Vault and Karraga's Palace. Also it is annoying you can't go pvp while waiting in group finder because as soon as you join a warzone it drops you off the group finder. I waited last night for over an hour in the fleet before giving up to try and get into an operations. Bioware any chance in the new year for an update to this system?
  22. I am really excited to see a new expansion in SWTOR and I am going to pre-order but I hope they add more than what they have told us, cause didn't they say in E3 after a nice trailer that the following will be coming soon (new planet Makeb, new level cap 55, new race cathar, space missions, new wz, new ops) [Here is the trailer and e3 conferance - Now we had space missions, wz, ops as you all know now how come all of a sudden the other half of the video is paid for? I mean don't get me wrong the price of £5.99 is really good for a digital expansion and I am looking forward to this (hopefully new race will be in it too) but I really do hope they will be announcing more in the expansion that we don't know about from E3 video or this is going to feel like a con

    Hypergate WZ

Glad to see I am not the only one having problems getting into this new WZ. BW please fix this issue as the major point to 1.6 was the new WZ that most of us have not had a chance to try and learn.

    Hypergate WZ

Is anyone else having a problem actually getting into a Hypergate WZ. I have done about 50 pvp matches since 1.6 launched and I have been in 1 hypergate match. Is the playlist bugged or something because I have done all the other matches bar 1 hypergate. If it's not bugged BW please make hypergate a little bit more frequent, cause I would like to learn the WZ a bit more than once.
  25. Hey hey, been here since day 1 early access (Dec 14th if I remember), was on Progenitor which went dead and I remade (yes remade as there was no transfers then) to Tomb Of Freedon Nadd. Still here enjoying the game, looking forward to new content and hopefully in the second year we can sit down in chairs and have speech bubbles like we were promised during beta's
