  1. Please add dye slot to this armour. Colour variations of this look great in the preview window.
  2. LOTRO is F2P and the barber shop was an addition to the original game. But you pay for any changes to your character other than race with the in-game currency. Always have done. Problem here is anything that is new out in this game will be CM coins. Its just how EA work. It's very sad but the subscription model has gone and although you may subscribe to the game anything new will be restricted to you unless you have oodles of cash to drop on the new stuff.
  3. Perhaps they are rolling it all back as the patch failed and we can all go play on Ilum again
  4. Depends on your definition of exploit i guess. The game mechanic was put in to boost level 45 players. Some found out that buying a black hole pass would get there level 1 in there and boost it to level 50. The problem actually lies with Bioware allowing level 1 characters to purchase the black hole pass with cartel coins. Hence they cant really punish people as they spent real cash to get there. But Bioware created the exploit by putting in that legacy / cartel purchase option,
  5. I agree with the original poster that there should be a a gamble aware notice on the cartel packs. As it is essentially gambling to receive items. More packs will be bought buy people for the chance of getting that super rare. Which essentially as its "RANDOM" is gambling. However, I don't think limiting the amount they can buy will help. They can obviously just start another account and buy them there. If your addicted to something you find a way to feed that addiction in this case creating another account to get around the cap. Locking down the cartel store would also not be viable from bioware/EA point of view as the game needs to make money to continue and the Cartel store for many players is the only way EA make any revenue from the "free players". I think though it would be very prudent and responsible of a big company like EA to put a gamble aware notice on the packs and an advisory notice. They will have done their part then like telephone competitions on terrestrial tv have a similar notice.
  6. Don't get me wrong but why are these items BOP and not BOL. I mean all the items you can buy with them are BOL so whats the sense in having them over all characters where you cant just pool them together and get something from the vendor. Seems a little odd to me to make them BOP. Make them Bind to Legacy please!!!
  7. Unlikely, and if George Lucas cares about the franchise, he would be wise to pull the plug before EA / Bioware destroy the franchise .
