Well they are only cheating themselves. I've got 5 x lvl 50s and 3 x lvl 40+ toons and have not done one FP or OP or grouped since beta (hence the signature). I see no need to do the superflous repeatable content even once and I have no interest, whatsoever, in any social aspect in the game. All the level 50s achieved the level before finishing all the missions on Corellia (including class). Rested XP 4tw. No I've not been cheated out of content because of my choices.

If I suffer a name change then it will be fully offensive to Americans and EAware. Guarantee it.

There is no such word as armourings, armouring, armours, armorings, armoring, armors. In Americanese they use Armor which is also its plural. In English they use Armour which is also its plural.

I've got 4 lvl 50s so I have the buffs and the legacy abilities. I also have 4 other toons, different advanced classes to the others so I expect that eventually I'll have 4 legacy buffs and 8 legacy abilities. Which makes killing elites very easy......

Why people bother to do Flashpoints or even Heroics as they level is beyond me. The gear and rewards are quickly out levelled and there simply is no point. Doing them is a profitless waste of leveling time. With regard to the OP if you aren't specced as a Tank or Healer don't bother doing them. Just sit back and laugh at the people constantly LFG in chat...because really grouping is only a point if you're with a friend.

Well, in Blizzards defense, there wasn't an ISP in Australia willing to be so cheap to host servers at the time. Telstra charge/d the price of selling all your offspring for three generations plus you house, pension and pay for the rest of your life. The sooner the NBN is done and Telstra is split the better life will be here internet wise. On the maintenance side BW doesn't even know which timezone they are referring to because thier post states AEST and the server is located in a state that is currently under AEDT (daylight savings summer time). It's pretty typical ignorace that most developers have.

Why not use section 16 of the US-AUS free trade agreement? Contact the ACCC and Fair trading. In any case the notification on the forums is wrong Server maintenance is a 6PM AEDT not AEST... AEST atm is Queensland time. So it's an hour earlier than what it was last week and previously.

I have four Sith and four Republic characters on the same server. Yes four of each type per faction, and the advanced classes are the alternate selection ie Sith Juggernaut - Jedi Sentinal.

Most of the Australian (99%) and New Zealander (100%) players live 4000km+ away from Perth on the eastern side. This is also where the major hubs are located. Putting the servers in Perth would be no different to staying on USWC servers. IMO servers in Singapore (SEA) would do the trick. Oceania for Aus/NZ and Pacific.
