  1. Customer on Tattoine:"This protocol droid you sold me is a pile of junk. It doesn't talk"

Jawa: "Is not bug, is feature. Working as intended"

Customer on Tattoine: "What do you mean its working as intended, his vocabulator is broken! What good is a protocol droid that can't talk?!!?"

And this thread is why the Jawa was right! I absolutely love the sense of humor of the devs, and whoever wrote that script for that specific in-game voiceover at the Anchorhead taxi....awesome!

  2. It's leftover from some iteration of beta. At one point I believe Artifice could create all the mods. They've since changed that, but not removed the recipes from our trainer "inventory". I think they've been switched over to Cybertech or Armortech.
  3. You can also gather and get free credits. Somehow your calculations don't take that into consideration.

You cannot expect them to implement a system that -at least- gives you back every single credit you spend on that mission, as you suggest, and THEN also allow you to go out and farm credits for free. Where would the downside be? That's a pure gain scenario.

  4. They should just set it so that modifying at a mod station removes the credit cost. Done. now they don't have to delete all those useless assets, and they've lowered a credit sink -somewhat- for the players crying about the slicing nerf.
  5. can you RE the generators and focuses to get to purple with arificer? After about 20 tries i figured you could not do it to them. Am I correct?

Shields and focii, offhand recipes for Artifice, can be RE'd to blue and purples, yes.

RE the green to get to blue. Then re the blue to get to purple. Bear in mind that shield and focii, like many other weildable items, have 15 or so possible variations for advancement. So you will likely need to re quite a bit to get a purple of the specific stat/item you'll want to use.

  6. It's a tiered system. Think about it. Skill goes from 0-400. In that 400 points, you have I believe 5 tiers. So that's 5 tiers of basically 80 points or so.

Tier 1, lvl 10-16 = skill 1-80 (more or less, might come sooner)

    Tier 2, lvl 17-24 = skill 81-160 (approx)

    Tier 3, lvl 25-32 = skill 161-240 (approx)

    Tier 4, lvl 33-41 = skill 241-320 (approx)

    Tier 5, lvl 42-50 = skill 321-400 (approx)

I've seen some pop a bit earlier/later, so I've got no response to that. Just always crank out low mat recipes for items with an Orange number next to their name, or perform missions with orange names and you'll gain 2 points per successful craft/mission.
