Working as intended" Customer on Tattoine: "What do you mean its working as intended, his vocabulator is broken! What good is a protocol droid that can't talk?!!?" And this thread is why the Jawa was right! I absolutely love the sense of humor of the devs, and whoever wrote that script for that specific in-game voiceover at the Anchorhead taxi....awesome!
  2. It's leftover from some iteration of beta. At one point I believe Artifice could create all the mods. They've since changed that, but not removed the recipes from our trainer "inventory". I think they've been switched over to Cybertech or Armortech.
  3. You can also gather and get free credits. Somehow your calculations don't take that into consideration. You cannot expect them to implement a system that -at least- gives you back every single credit you spend on that mission, as you suggest, and THEN also allow you to go out and farm credits for free. Where would the downside be? That's a pure gain scenario.

  5. Moddable gear all stars with 25 armor. Throw an armoring mod in it, and it'll jump up to match the plate.
  6. I've also been hesitant to mention it, because next patch I'm going to read: -Fixed major problems with the Jedi Knight storyline instead of -Fixed Jedi Knights ...and that would hurt my soul.

The text in the Act I splash screen while in your ship after finishing Taris, logging in, etc, reads as follows in part when referring to the part of your story when the two masters have gone missing: "After narrowing escaping..." Should read "narrowly". It's been bugging me since beta and it's never been fixed.
  8. They should just set it so that modifying at a mod station removes the credit cost. Done. now they don't have to delete all those useless assets, and they've lowered a credit sink -somewhat- for the players crying about the slicing nerf.
  9. Use commendations for mods. Aside from that, only if the item -seriously- outranks my/companion's orange gear, with the understanding that I just bank my orange gear until I find another orange with much better pre-inserted mods.
  10. Can you just hotkey your gear or throw it on a right/left skill bar? PITA, yes, but one at a time, you'd only need one free bag spot.
  11. Set everything to high, see what that does. I've long thought they were backwards.
