For Season 6, they also listed all the items in a news post the Monday before it started. If they do the same thing for season 7 the news post will appear on Monday, August 19.

Yep, that sounds like something Bioware/Broadsword would do.
1. When they first announce it, and you WANT to know, they don't tell you the date.Because they are afraid they won't be able to live up to it. So they just hint.
End of August.2. When you actually NEED to know it, when the patch date is already fixed, they forget to tell you that yeah, with the patch, you get the new season.
Also, didn't we get some preliminary information, what items can be acquired?
Or are they leaving this for the last minute also?You know Bioware/Broadsword, some of your players have lives and don't have time to wait for your announcement/information in the last minute.
Some of us would want some time to be able to digest the information and plan our activities accordingly.

The event has become horrible.
I played it for 2-3 hours.
I had hundreds of kingpin chips accumulated, I played them all, I won two old prizes (Rodian companion, Kingpin's Predator mount).
I won none of the new rewards. I won nothing on the Emperor machines. Certificates don't count, I have 500+ Golden and 350+ Cartel Market.Achievements: in 2-3 hours I had 1/100 of the new achievement.
Edit: I read the description again, it is for playing the Empror's machine (not winning), so I am 3/100 on that right now. Only 97 hours to go, woo-hoo!Are you telling me I have to play 200-300 hours to get to 100/100?
The last two Emperor chip, which took me an hour to get, got me exactly nothing (not even certificates I don't care about).
Thanks Bioware, I don't want to waste my time with a boring event with no new rewards, just frustration.

@Eric: we appreciate the update.
One communication issue: you are posting the same update about the PTS availability on Steam without ever mentioning that the PTS is not available through Steam.
If you can, please add an addendum, that it's not available through Steam, otherwise all the players who only access the game and game news through Steam will be much confused.

Hey guys, who do I contact if I want a refund on my sub time, cartel purchases, and collectors edition refund? At the very least I'd like a refund for the money I've spent this past month. This game is jsut not fun. At all. Everyday its something, companion bug, quest bug, patch bug, bug bug... bugs since beta... I feel like this is like the worst cash trap ever. Thank you.

Hey Eric,
I tested the preview window on the PTS briefly, just wanted to give feedback or a request: is sound going to be part of the preview?
I did not experience it with weapons, so I'm guessing not.
However, sound, specially for lightsabers and guns can be a very important factor, when deciding about purchasing for example from the CM.
So far, we have to resort to third party sites to check out the sounds of weapons.
Would be neat to integrate sounds into the new preview window.
Any feedback, insight on that?

The achievement is better if it goes to the same toon, if you're going for that.

Mechanics: will be explained on voice, you need to join discord and be able to listen (no need to speak if you don't want to), discord address will be shared in PM beforehand or on event

By the word official, I meant something that is provided by the developer for the purpose of a wallpaper.
That means high resolution, quality etc.

Makeb is two stories, one for Republic classes and an almost completely different one for Imperial classes.
yeah, you're right, still no class specific content, what I was trying to mean (other than the class specific companion reactions).

Hey folks,
The team is aware of Ops missing from Activity Finder and we are looking into a fix. If we can get in a fix this week it will take a couple of days. I am confirming with the team but that may mean we will move tomorrow's maintenance back a day or two to address the issue.
I will pass on more info as I have it.

This. So much this.
After 3.5 playthroughs of KotET and 4 playthroughs of KotFE, I find myself rather playing through Makeb again, which is saying something, because Makeb is one story for all classes, but even then, at least my different companions react differently in each area.
I think I played all possible MAJOR variations of KotFE/KotET what I wanted.
On my other alts going forward, I still want to make those choices, like romancing Lana/Theron etc. but I don't feel like going through 25-40 hours of content again for a few story choice clicks.
And it's not the cutscenes, they are great after the nth time too.
The choices could be done on a google poll like interface, for all I care.

Actually a great update:
- Different imp and rep stories: check
- QoL for guilds: check
- Daily area, depends on what's on the rep vendor (don't pull expensive items like Iokath): check
- New MM mode of Gods: check for those less then 50 NiM raiders left in the game
- New Gear Tier: IGNORE (haven't you learnt since 5.0???)
- 6.0 coming with new story content imps vs rep: check
- at least some comps are back: check (the ones that are missing, by the time they come back, I'll be like: and you are?)
missing: class specific storylines

Although you will have spoilers about KotFE & KotET, if you have never done those.
