  1. Hi all,

Sorry if this is being talked about elsewhere but I can't find another topic.

Why are companions severely overpowered now? I'm on Dromund Kaas and my companion (Mako, as a healer) has almost 3x as much health as I do.

Going to be like the Slot Machine come Tuesday.....I can feel a disturbance in the Force! :jawa_evil:

  2. KDY

    Never been easier.

Difficulty: easy if you can get over the "it's this again!" feeling

    Korriban

Droid still kills new players but more experienced players should easily kill it.

    Difficulty: easy to moderate

    Blood Hunt

The same old BH. Two mandos still can cause group to wipe.

    Difficulty: moderate

    Taral V

Can be difficult for new player. Deaths of group members will also cause problems for more experienced players.

Difficulty: moderate, depends on experience level of players

    Mando raiders

Doable without healer and tank. Will cause wipes if players aren't aware of kolto stations. In fact I had to mention about them during first boss fight when everyone ran out of the room and tried to los dogs and boss.

Difficulty: moderate, depends on experience level of players

I think it's primarily the old Flashpoints that they have bumped to 65 and re-labeled as "Tactical". In Maelstrom Prison for instance, the bonus boss does not even have kolto tanks so without a trinity group it is a bit rough. Hopefully we can supply a lot of feedback and get some of this tuned/bug fixed. Welcome to KotFE beta testing :rak_03:

  3. I think they just changed the label and didn't tune it to a non-trinity group. And getting new or lower level characters in some of the more interesting mechanics (also not changed) can be rough. Most of the new players don't even realize you need to plan a bit and mark groups for CC and kill order which tends to make things even more interesting. They may want to leave it the way it is and actually make people learn to play the class they are on, unfortunately this would probably just lead to people avoiding the Flashpoints entirely. :rak_01:
  4. But you will come to a place

Where the only thing you feel

Are loaded guns in your face

And you'll have to deal with

    Pressure

Billy you make me giggle :D

I come to this thread with some interesting news! Today I learned of a fun, new thing we are adding in Game Update 2.4... the ability to dye lore outfits!

Very handy that this thread was still active in GD so I could deliver this news :)

  5. I have recently been consolidating my character's gear to Legacy sets so that it is much easier to gear cross faction characters. While I am glad to have several options in the sets for this endeavor, the Legacy Armor sets on the Capital planets have always vexed me as to what use they could possibly be from a Legacy standpoint. While I'm sure they would much rather have people purchasing armor from the Cartel or GTN it would seem like this would be a simple fix to perhaps make the gear adaptive and not class specific. Hopefully the recent turmoil with armor sets is them moving to standardize them. I apologize for the necrotic use of this thread but I thought it better to continue the request in support of the original poster.

  6. There is a long list of planets. The higher level the planet the fewer the people generally. Try Voss or Alderaan if you find the starter planets too crowded.. So far the event is going well for me, though I do question the completed contracts not being bound to legacy. Perhaps you should let go of your anger. :)

This event is pathetic 3 spawns for 100+ players to spawn camp and fight over wow great way to piss every one off and waste are time.

keep up the bad work guys whats the next event 1 spawn for every one to fight over??

  7. Apparently they don't like to be told what's wrong with the game in the form of a list of issues:

    6. Please avoid posting "compilation" threads consisting of more than one bug. In general, unless things are closely tied together (such that you have a hunch they're caused by the same thing), threads and reports of this nature are far more difficult to track and parse and will generally not be good for replies and/or status updates.

Perhaps you should make individual posts for each item you have tripped across in game. :D

  8. Overnight is one thing.....since beta is another. But please continue to lock, mock, or ignore these bugs since they can't be fixed by the people coding this game.

For good reason. It is 100% useless. . .

And on top of that -- you make the assumption that issues are "ignored" because they aren't simple fixes that happen overnight. Talk about naivete.

  9. Not sure who OK'd this new loot system for the Seeker Droid but they need a swift kick. It seems like anything that doesn't provide instant gratification is being adjusted to the point that there is no real challenge any more :( Some people didn't mind digging for hours on end. Needy baby, greedy baby generation.
  10. If by communicating you mean posting words strung together in loose cohesion that provide little real information, then sure. :rak_04:

I agree with this. Eric does a phenomenal job communicating imo. Given what we've had in the past vs. what we have with him, the amount of information we're getting is borderline absurd. When he can post information, he seems to. When an issue is called to their attention, he seems to respond. We may not like all he tells us, it may not be as fast as many of us wish it were, but I truly believe he's the best CM we've had and I think we're fortunate to have him working to get us info. Don't shoot the messenger.
