Yea just going to say this guy understands what is going on. If you pvp enough and have tried different combinations you do not even need to know the math you can just see the difference with full BM gear you do far less DPS.. and to those that were critical of me I am just talking about DPS.. I realize some classes are not focused on this. So fair play.. it is still the case that all the other classes will lose dps if they wear a full set of BM gear as opposed to around 550 expertise.. and then load 2 rakata pieces... That is the point.. that thread he quoted is correct. Also go to Sithwarrior.com they have all the formulas if you are math type of person then you will not argue with me. Someone else pointed out the diminishing returns thing. This is something alot of people do not realize and get mega pissed off about and try to argue about until they go and do the research on this game themselves. Yea I do have 2 full sets of BM and about to have a 3rd set. No I don't pvp nonstop. It would be nice if they had war hero and conqueror sets out. I may actually renew because I do like some of the changes that have been implemented.. I will recant what I said about 1000/1000.. it doesn't seem so bad to me really now. And I would agree about guild wars I have played all the guild wars games. What is partially nice about gear sets is that it does give you something to "earn" so to speak.. and its in this game.. so dont whine about me like being some guy upset I have to fight people with equal gear lol.. I don't mind I win against war heros in full BM all the time.. it really isnt the point I am making.. The point is all it is is a grind to get it me having so much BM gear says nothing about my skill level. (I bet some people that replied are surprised to hear me say it.. but that is the point) If you have sufficient time you will get it. Id rather have gear rewarded for skill level is what I am trying to say. Rated BG's may very well change this. Now lets talk about how effing stupid Resolve is. It gets maxed way to fast and benefits certain classes far to much when this happens. Why not have diminishing returns based on individual skills... Whirlwind for example should not immediately max resolve.. it gets interrupted almost immediately in warzones and any dots will remove it.

You miss the point and insult me for no reason. The point is that why should PVE gear help you out more than PVP in PVP. Get it? Ok nevermind you do not.

The point is that why get full BM gear there is no reason. Yea I have Rakata too. But PVP is not PVE. PVE should not help you out more than PVP gear for PVP. And trust me. I know. I pvp lots and know lots of good PVP'ers if you were partial Rak with PVP you will do much better than Full BM. just saying man.. thanks for the reply..

Well this is good to certain extent. What mainly concerns me is how fast people are able to gear up. Obviously people with better gear will rank faster. Skill right now is not really that important. Their is no kiting in this game or any kind of interesting cc... its just stuns and knock backs and eveyone has it. It is boring and simple and no were near as complex as WoW and that is pretty Effin SAD. We shall see.

Just gonna put this out there. If it is in other threads my bad. I am a War Hero and former leader of a larger guild Deception (170 members) on Wound in the Force Server. How stupid is it to make the cap for expertise lower than the max you can get with the best PVP gear out there (i.e. Battlemaster right now). That is a rhetorical question. I have to wear Rakata gear to max damage.. because right about 9.5% pvp bonus it becomes worthless to wear the rest of my BM gear. I have 2 sets of BM gear but only wear a partial set because it is much better to mix Rakata with BM. The math does support this. So PVP people have to grind PVE to be better at PVP and the rewards for PVP become worthless to PVP'ers? Change this now idiots. Also stop making it easy for people that suck at PVP to get good gear. The new changes coming with the 1000 + 1000 comendations to buy BM tokens is really dumb. Make it hard. NO ONE wants to see everyone with the best gear it should be earned not given. I can grind that many commendations in a day. Ridiculous. Bioware you need to fix this and should pay attention to this post. Just gotta say you spent 200 million on this game. Don't be stupid. People are leaving in droves because of stupid stuff you guys are missing. There is lots of good stuff in this game but I know many really good gamers that have already left because of the PVP errors you are not fixing. I have already cancelled my account and I am advising other people to cancel. The only way I will renew is if the changes to rated warzones fix all of this. Do not make PVP gear easy to get. Also I hope that you have to maintain a rating in PVP to get the gear. No good PVP 'er wants to see every scrub have the best gear. And could you please fix it so that we do not get disbanded from our pre-made groups every EFFIN warzone, this is basic and a huge annoyance in the game. And make it so you can have full pre-mades. And implement penalties for leaving warzones please. Vergera
