  1. This games UI was made with flash we aren't getting any mods soon. I have friends who work at Curse who had a meeting with SWTOR devs a couple years ago to start implementing a team effort for UI development and approaches and they flat out said no we are not allowing it. They seem to not have the pulse of the community or just have the most arrogant development team ever thinking we can agree with all their decisions.
  2. To be honest with my experience, you need to worry more about dps and less about tanks in hard modes. Because thats what will stop you from killing bosses.

     

    4/5 bosses in hardmode are actually cake and you will get them in 2-3 tries if not one shot. I pugged hard mode and we had to do 1-2 tries because we had to tweak strats to meet enrage timers. Like for first boss letting BH dps to stay out in missile barrage phase and keep on attacking boss etc. Still it didnt feel like any sort of hard mode if you ask me.

     

     

    The whole group can stay out on missile barrage did it with BH/Sorc heals

  3. After you clear normal once go onto hard mode?

     

    I do agree it is annoying to see loot assigned to a person who already has the piece or whatever but seriously, move onto hard mode and put on master looter.

     

    We are 5/5 hard mode it is idiotic though not to clear normal also for extra loot at minimum to get 4 piece sets and weapons both being Columi level.

  4. Hardmode is same thing as normal but tighter enrage/more HP/more damaging abilities it is very simple just need to bring 1 tank/2 heals/5 dps and should have no problems. Only fight I saw with a difference was the puzzle boss you can't click the console over and over you get a cool down and need to rotate.

     

    If you are having trouble hitting enrage on first boss in EV just stack up for the mortar volley thing when he sits down and hits everyone use aoe heals and personal cooldowns this strat worked for a BH heals/Sorc heals comp.

  5. It is just really frustrating I am a min/max player and the best way to progress is upgrading your guild mates with loot that gives the largest upgrades/benefit but the game just laughs in your face and makes you vendor loot basically.

     

    Making loot tradable would fix all these problems you put systems in place for the small minority of ******s out there and screw over the large majority of people who are not gigantic loot whore ninjas.

  6. When loot drops that I have and gets assigned to me over another Mercenary who just hit 50 and we are trying to get gear for quickly it isn't a very effective system. This needs to be looked into being changed and currently Hard/Nightmare loot works fine we have a master looter who assigns loot with no problems but a whole normal mode clear is wasted when people with loot already have companion epics now basically while your guild mate is sitting in greens.

     

    At least make purple loot tradeable for a small time window within operations/flashpoints to avoid these type of situations that is all I ask thanks.

  7. Mercs are very good tank heals and can do it indefinitely without any worry. Then have your other healer take care of the raid.

     

    Usually I can sustain a rotation of Healing Scan > 2x Rapid Scans > filler forever.

    Burst heal time I use combustible gas and use a kolto missile for the dmg reduction and pound out Healing Scans. Should be able to reapply the kolto missile shield before the gas buff wears off the graphic is bugged if you reapply but the buff is there.

  8. Don't kid yourselves TOR has the same LFR level raiding as wow but without auto formed groups there is 3 difficulties per operation:

     

    Normal mode - LFR faceroll difficulty if you don't believe me make a pug eternity vault group drops Tionese 126 level items.

    Hard Mode - Catered to guilds and more of a challenge drops Columi 136 level gear.

    Nightmare - The most Challenging content currently drops Rakata 140 level gear.

     

    It is a very well thought out process to allow more of the player base to have access to operations and this is the current way it is being handled and is carbon copy of wow model.
