Yeah.. my thread went into depth telling them just how aware we are of this thread and to please give us something so we know we arent just being put in the corner to be ignored... and the response was

Seems the only way to get anyone to look at a thread regarding this is to make a new one just so they will delete it again but if you want people to stop making new ones then give us some information please, don't just refer us back to the same thread that has been going on for over 6 months with no new information from the devs, We know about the thread we've been restricted to posting only to it since the release of the game, but take a look at any other issue and there is at least 10 threads asking the same exact question, why should this topic be any different. Forcing it all into one thread just makes it easy to ignore, and being ignored is getting old.
To those who complain about this content they have already established that it is going to be added its not a debate as to it being allowed only when.

I fully agree in that being rude and hostile does not help get answers any faster, while everyone may be very frustrated, chances are the mods are too.. they get at least 10 new threads a day saying how awful they are and how people wish they would die yet odds are they cant do anything more than they are doing already.. sure they are paid to deal with the players but they can only deal with the players in the ways they are allowed to.. if corporate says "Don't tell them this" then no matter how many times players ask they cant do anything about it else they will cease to be paid for deal with the players, in which case we'd be even worse off. Cut them some slack.. regardless of how much they are paid they do not deserve to be treated so horribly every second they try to help us, which is indeed what they are attempting to do.. if they were not we wouldn't have heard anything.
Bottom line.. if they have no news to give us.. yelling wont help.

I've also heard that they might be scrapping the Q&A? Is that true?
I think they mentioned something like that but only in hopes of them making something better and more satisfying to all people instead of just answering super easy or even common sense questions, but they said they are trying to figure out how to do it.

I totally agree, I want to see it added in some way regardless, preferably in a well put way, but just to get the foot in the door so to speak would be a giant leap forward.. I mean after all they are still making alterations to things that were in game before launch. Given the time we have had to wait we "deserve" a well polished product but at this point just to see something would be a relief.
As a side note I agree that it is kind of ridiculous how many times the thread has been extended yet we've seen no new information since perhaps the second time. There is no way they can claim that they weren't aware it was such a big issue. I guess it comes down to the devs communicating to the PR team, we can hem and haw all we want but the mods cant do anything unless the devs give them something

I also would really like to hear any updates about when/how we can expect same gender romances to be added. It's been a big question mark since before launch even and we've only been given a couple of vague statements regarding it, nothing definitive other than they will be added.

It definitely needs to be added now or soon.. waiting for when it goes free to play doesn't make much monetary sense seeing how all the new people wont have characters to transfer.. where as there are hundreds if not thousands of potential transfers at this precise moment who may or may not be around when it goes free to play, they can always add the transfers to the shop once the shop is created but in the mean time they should offer some way to do it through the site just as they did the free ones,

I really hope they add flirt options at the same time, I'd be really disappointed if they didn't seeing as how it is apparently a very common thing for opposite genders, and there are some NPC's that are obviously gay/bi, based on how they talk to you, already but do not have the option to respond in kind.

I know how you feel I have a bunch of chars leveled up until the point of getting the companion I wish to romance just in case they don't work retroactively.. which would suck but.. at this point I'll take what I can get

This year is what I was getting at not that it wasn't going to be added.. like I said they have a long list and they keep adding stuff to the top and not the bottom so everything gets pushed down

Oh I didn't mean to imply that the F2P hybrid model is bad.. it works really great for a lot of things it just seems like it's going to cause a lot of work to iron out on top of their already long to do list. I'm not a doom and gloom type I'm just wondering how its all gonna go down. Which I guess wondering is about all we can do.. I wonder why I haven't figured that out by now lol

So with all this F2P crap going on now that is supposedly to happen in fall.. are we even going to see these romances added this year as promised? I know its likely different teams working on them but with the number of projects they've announced and the number that have actually come out.. not to mention how often they seem to change gears it really doesn't seem like they know what the heck they are gonna do tomorrow let alone a month from now.

Sure but by following the same logic why offer rewards for referring a friend.. lots of other pay to play games offer free months for recruiting or bringing back friends, having them add an item or some other digital reward that costs Bioware nothing seems like the least they could do.

All those ideas are really good I'd love to see at least some of them implemented especially the mini-game type things.

Yeah a speeder or something is what I was thinking like with Refer a Friend.

It would be nice if we did get rewards from getting friends to come back.. all of my friends already own Old republic because we all got it together when it came out yet none of them have an active subscription anymore.. if I did get someone to come back I couldnt get the Refer a Friend reward since that would require them to buy another copy of the game.
Just an idea.. I'd be more inclined to encourage people to come back if their was some more incentive

I do hope there is an update on this soon, I feel like I'm sitting on my hands (sometimes I am literally) waiting to get my characters together, one of the things that bugs me is that we have all these potential destination servers yet we are only allowed one option, if the idea is to move people onto fewer servers how is just funneling everyone from one server to another single server doing anything.

My main concern with the response they gave about it only being specific existing companions being made to allow for same gender romances are the classes that only have one companion of a gender.. just as an example like the Consular and Inquisitor both of them only have one female companion

I've cancelled mine as well.. still keeping an eye on the threads just in case but not really that hopeful at this point.. if they ever do add them I may consider starting up again but I'm not gonna wait forever

Didn't they give that up in ME2 already? Creating 3 lesbian romance options but no gay one was probably even more insulting than having no same-sex romance at all.
Bioware even treating this as a separate 'feature' is disappointing. As if it somehow requires more work to implement a gay relationship than a straight one.
ME3 has at least one gay romance

Theres lots of other games that have lots of referances or even homosexual people you encounter, Rift has same sex marriages, Borderlands has a few referances to homosexual relationships between some of the people you encounter, Oblivion had a couple of sessions of flirting, NFS: The Run has a lesbian couple you race against.
