  1. You don't have to be a current sub to get the mount and pet.. you just have to start now... but this is getting ridiculous.. now people that start get free coins in addition to people that just bought the expansion yet people who has owned it for a while don't get any. A title is not worth 1000 coins

Giving it a second read apparently anyone who owns the expansion gets the title.. you don't even have to have owned it prior to this month.. so people who already owned it don't get anything different then someone who just started yesterday.. in fact they get less

  2. One day left before the original deadline or at least what I felt was implied.. but obviously it isn't going to happen. Can only hope it comes soon.. ironically if it is in the expansion it could be considered like the argument from the original incarnation of this thread.. you have to pay extra for it
  3. I do all available space missions on my main at least twice a week.. they aren't too bad.. though after a while they do get sort of tedious (having 4 minutes of extra time even after completing all the bonus objectives) but it's decent exp while leveling and easy credits for leveling crew skills.. granted late game there are a lot more lucrative ways to get money but still they are very useful while leveling up especially for people who have difficulty doing regular missions by themselves for whatever reason.

As a side note those of you comparing it to other games like Rogue Squadron are not really being fair considering the space missions in tor are more like a mini game where as those others are fully dedicated to being a combat flight sim thus having resources to spare, by the same logic you would compare a flashpoint to a game like Force Unleashed or Jedi Knight

  4. No matter which way you look at it, that's response and recognition - from a named source on the Community Team. That's a positive development. We can hope for this trend to continue.

Exactly.. its more than we had yesterday (and months prior) and we have been acknowledged by someone who has been actively making inquiries regarding new content which is encouraging, perhaps having someone poke the devs may get things rolling.. though we probably shouldn't get ahead of ourselves..

But rejoice! A victory at last.. albeit a small one

  5. I'm not Tenebram, but I think I see their reasoning as: 1.) We are only permitted to discuss SGRs here in this one thread (true). 2.) This thread has never received a Community Team or Dev Team reply other than to either repost the Sept. 2011 announcement or, more recently, simply to clean up problem posts - and those have been CommunitySupport - not Joveth or Courtney or Allison (true). 3.) Likewise, our Q&A questions were never answered in the Q&A (though I'd argue we got a thorough answer to many questions at the Guild Summit, and as a result of the Q&A campaign)..

This. The only time we've gotten a response from an actual person (not just a real life person but a person that has a name) was at the guild summit.. excluding the press release from prior to launch. The rest of the time it has been the anonymous CommunitySupport poster. That is what irks me.. all these other issues are getting answers from people where as we do not.

  6. With all due respect, that's incorrect on a number of levels.

I did not mean the team I meant posts by the CommunitySupport account. The team (by that I mean the managers who are known by name) have given more information in the past month than has been given in the past 6 or longer... the CommunitySupport posts and ticket responses have basically said nothing other than "Thank you for your concern" They are the ones who have been shutting down all of our threads and pasting the same statements for nearly a year now

  7. Looks like I'm late to the party today but in my opinion.. any post by CommunitySupport may as well be assumed non information.. seems like their only job is to police the forum not actually give information.. why they are preventing us from getting information from the people who can give it is beyond me

Side note: looks like my post asking about why we cant post in another forum was deleted outright with no reply or even a pm to me

  8. Why being an online game would have an impact on SGRs ? The story with your companions is a private and unique experience for each player, you don't share it with others. Is not a a 16 player operation. As far as I am concerned, the whole class story (including the companions) is a single player game.

I meant in the sense that it is on a much larger stage and tends to have more attention than a single player game.. there are exceptions of course but with a MMO there's a lot more publicity involved. But don't get me wrong I'm not condoning what they are doing at all I'm just trying to figure out why they are acting the way they are. I agree that the format shouldn't not affect the content like this but unfortunately it does

  9. So what's being said is that Bioware's now a hetero-centric company? That sucks. Or maybe it doesn't and that's the problem :/

Bioware isn't but in a game as large and online based at this, seems like they are scared to do anything but as far as single player games go they have been at the forefront of gay rights.. though this is kinda slipping into real world politics

  10. PM's I can understand to an extent since they are just one person and likely receiving hundreds at a time but it is their job and from the amount of information given out each day (which is considerably more than prior to this month) its hard to know what they are doing with the rest of the time. Having sent PM's a few days past you would think they would have gotten to them at this point

I found this amusing.. or rather I would if it wasn't so frustrating.. a response on the dev tracker:

We're glad to see you're enjoying the responses. We'll keep working to bring more - if you have questions or any issues, make sure to post a thread in the appropriate subforum. Obviously, we can't guarantee an answer to everything, but we're definitely working to get more responses out.
  11. Added another post to the "Message from the community manager" thread since it seems to be the only thread that Joveth will read.. this time asking why we can't ask anywhere but here.. maybe if we can at least get out of this little corner we might be able to get some actual pressure going.. but I'm not holding my breath.. just as easy to ignore a second question as it is the first.
  12. Why cant the people wanting information regarding Same Gender Romances have a thread in general discussion like every other group of people.. we get shut down any time we try to make a thread anywhere else other than story and lore and have for the past 9 months.. not only have we not been given any information but its almost like we aren't even allowed to ask despite it being promised to us at the guild summit.
  13. First I'd like to ask why any thread regarding this topic is closed within minutes with no /information/ given, every time it's "go post here" yet posting there does nothing. That has been well established at this point. If there is no information to give then say that.. don't just continue to ignore us please, only reason I've made threads here is because this seems to be the only area you can get answers from... but with the instant locks, even this area doesn't give much hope
