so i was looking at one of my loading screens in game and one of the things said to goto http://www.swtor/info/eldergame so i went to it curious and all i get is this page not available what is this and if it wont let me goto it why is it on a loading screen?

My suggestion is simple just a sort inventory button on our inventory and cargo bays .this has probably been mentioned but i didn't see it on the list already posted

Oh look, the Americans are whining. I believe each and every one you told us EU players to stop whining, it's only a day etc when we got downtime that lasted till 5-6pm. The tears.... they are sweet. Oh and "stop whining".
actually from what im reading it's only 1 American that is whining ,witch kinda surprises me there aren't more lol i do belive OP you are in the minority on this one

this is a patch day not maintenance witch would be diffrent then normaly scheduled maintenance i know on major patch days other mmo's have anywhere between 8-24 hours of downtime

what keeps me playing is the hope the dream the fantasy of pushing c2-n2 into the airlock in the middle of the maw and luanching him into deep space

It wouldn't work in any instance because if I want to play a sith I want to play a sith. Forcing me to be a jedi is the exact opposite of what a sandbox game should be.
Not to mention that SWG was a sandbox game and very few of us played that.
SWG was a sandbox game until they pulled the NGE stunt up to that point they had more subs then bliz and EQ combined but that was then this is now

i did a little searching over why BW would decide to do maint the way they do and found this
As more and more companies are acquiring other companies with different and disparate databases there are complexities that come from merger and integration of the IT applications. Even in the organic growth, when a company grows across geographies, it is seen that multiple SAP systems may need to be merged.
In such situations, one major question that every CIO grapples with is should one have One Single SAP Global Instance or Separate Regional Instances.
TO properly evaluate, there are many things that need to think through. The pros and cons of the two different alternatives are a good startiing point for that evaluation and discussion.
Single Global Instance(maint)
Advantages
Maximum utilisation of SAP Functional Integration
Forces standardisation or commonality
Lower cost of on-going maintenance
Organisation-wide operational reporting is standard
Disadvantages
Various technical constraints that have to be managed
The online Transactional volume is heavy 24 hrs a day

Macro's are on sale at Amazon.
Edit: In fact, there are software solutions that emulate the function of macro keys if the hardware prices exceeds your budget. My point is whether you find combat macros to be "lazy" or "cheating" -- it doesn't matter. They're already available and can't be patched out. Personally, I feel macros make the game less engaging and a bit boring - but it doesn't matter! They may as well add them to make the lives of non-combat macro users lives easier.
i may buy one of these just for this reason lol
Handy game mode switch
Never get dropped out of the game because you accidently pressed the Windows/Context menu keys. The game/desktop mode switch disables them instantly so your game won't be interrupted until you're ready to call it quits.

I know someone out there has to have posted the vids from the live stream or does bio ware have it done somewhere and i just cant find it .I wasn't able to watch the whole thing and i am sure others would be interested in this as well

are you just going thru and doing nothing but the class quests because in my experiance 1 lvl 50 and 4 others above lvl 35 i havnt had any kind of problem soloing anything in this game ,(not complaining) cept the roics and fp's it may just be that you either A arnt high enough level or B you dont know enough about your toon to effectivly solo the content gear up level up not tring to be rude but if your still having trouble after that i dunno what to tell you BTW doing quests missions or running FP/duengeons to get gear to do the next part is part of every MMO out there no exceptions

The reason that the security app is only made for android and iPhone devices is the that digipass(i believe that's the name) is the actual manufacture of the hardware and the writers of the sec app for mobile devices ,not bio ware , ,what the app is for is to increase the security on your account ,they are offering it free to those with mobile apps and for shipping costs if you order the FOB BW ,Bliz ,trion and a few other games out there use this exact same system .If there's a reason why they can't ship to you it may be due to many things like import export law custom's or they may just not have a set up a trade agreement with Russia over the shipping of so many devices ,i did a search on why this is and it seems that Russia is a bit harsh on what comes in and out of there country and in this day and age with so many people shipping what they shouldn't i can't really blame them .
OP you have been given many different options of how to get a sec key app either by using the emulator ,going to eBay and buying one ,or getting a smartphone i know you said last option isn't available to you (witch is why i left out the key fob as well) .BW just adds the benefit of having the key to get a couple pieces of socket-able gear ,the 1 hour fleet pass and a few nifty pets .With all these options there is no reason why you can not get one yourself .It's a choice you either listen or you don't . You either get one of the app options increase the security of your account get a few nifty items from it for free or you don't ,it's up to you but getting mad and raging about it especially this is not going to amount to anything BW is not going to get rid of sec keys or apps .that's all i have to say time to get back to work finish this report and go home to play some more

i have a HP Pavilion elite HPE-112y with only a upgraded n550gtx-ti and corsair 600w PSU and i am getting 60-70 fps on fleet with 150+ people there i don't think my rig is high end but it does good ,for those with FPS issues you may wanna look to see what running in the background that may be slowing you down if your running avg make sure you turn on gaming mode .
Please post your computer specs or even you dxdiaog in a spoiler tag maybe its something someone in the community can look at and help you with

i use a cheap set of Plugs from wal mart good sound very comfterble rubber plugs ,so when i play i hear nothing but the game and i only paid 10$ for them the do have a nice sound range deep bass and very clear. Iv'e actually gone thru 4 sets of them because when i shut the game down i forget there in and get up and tear them out of the plug they dont take well to that lol

while in game goto your option menu and user interface and scroll down to the bottom and the settings are right there

When I heard about SWTOR and watched the pilots I was sort of excited about the story but mostly I was expecting a giant pile of disappointment. I have tried every MMO that has come along in the last few years always expecting something so good that I could quit the colostomy bag that is WoW... I tried FFO and it was awful. I tried Aion and while a neat concept and decent graphics, was WAAAAY too grindy and lacked immersion. Then I tried DCUO and it was fun for about 8 days, I leveled to max in days and enjoyed modding my gear for a couple days but then was quickly turned off as the replayability was god awful and the graphics were too cartoony... Then I played Rift, It was good... In fact it was almost perfect, except I always felt like I was just a guy playing a game, I never fell into it so I quit that too. Skyrim was a nice distraction but hardly a replacement for a MMO.
So when I purchased SWTOR you can imagine how low I had the bar held... I was hoping for at least 2 weeks of enjoyment before going back to the World of Free Loot and wait around for china pandas...
I was pleasantly surprised!
SWTOR was not at all what I expected. I love it. I cancelled my WoW account and have not looked back. This game, for me, is the 'WoW Killer'.
So for all the people posting about their hate towards this game I hope that this post rings true for a lot of you too.

they only named 3 of the things coming out in this expansion there is most likely a lot more they are not telling us until closer to the expansion launch . Why don't we wait until they announce more about it before everyone gets there panties in a bunch.We have no idea of the size of the planet or if the story line is going to include classes and even companions.Many of you were ( me included) probably spent a lot of real money on coins to get that one item from the packs and didn't blink an eye about it . So let's try this wait and see what all the new features abilities ,WZ's (I'm betting there will be a couple scinse there will prob be a whole new lvl bracket for pvp alone) and more even are before we jump the gun. OK I'm done flame away
