  1. As someone who played at launch and did prog raiding at launch. when they lowered the repair costs the first thing out of my mouth was "Wow this is f*cking stupid" I HATED how low they got the costs down to, and now that they are back up, i still don't care about the high costs, just like i didn't before (BTW i play tanks so i have to repair more then most)
  2. i'm not saying it's good, i'm saying that's precisely the reason they don't do what you suggested.
  3. because that's what the cartel shop is for.... they get money instead of destroy in game currency
  4. i'm sure they'll feel that 5% of playerbase who hardly ever spend anything on this game really really bad man
  5. LI is a different story then standard HM fp's so fair enough there but to any other HM fp it's not really hard
  6. if you can prove ANY of those things happening then all power to you but you can't, FP's are being run just as often, ops are being run just as often, fewer risks is actually a good thing for ops.......
  7. the only negative to it is that people have to run dailies, it's not that big of a deal. you are making much more of a deal out of it then you should be. Done with this thread QQ'ers are most likely going to win out in the end anyways as they typically do. Who knows eventually you QQ'ers and people who want it easier will get this game to the same state that WoW is in, where you don't even buy your skills anymore, they are automatically awarded to you upon leveling up,
  8. again this change hurts people who run progression the most story mode ops are easy hard mode flashpoints are easy if you find yourself consistently dieing in these, there is a problem, even with a casual in the group, it's not hard to complete these, even with people running completely wrong specs, it's not hard to complete these at all. Hell i had a guildie running powertech dps for a SM KP that was never even in melee range, meaning he wasn't doing his rotation properly. there is a LOT of leeway for casuals
  9. from a full run of dalies, every planet yes you do, he even provided the numbers
  10. There can be reasons out of a person's control they are dying. I used to die more than I do now. The major reason was my computer lagged a lot. Some people don't have the luxury of being able to purchase a new computer like I did so this is something beyond their control. We can't blame the person who is dying more than someone else without looking at the reasons. If you lag your actions are slowed down. having a poor computer is 100% in someones control *** are you talking about
  11. this, it encourages tighter play, it encourages better play. No penalties means "if i die so what" penalties means "I can't die unless i want to be punished"
  12. credits aren't hard to get in this game, this increase in price is negligible, i will repeat again, if the prices were this way from the start, no one would be complaining now, you just got used to the easy nature and are crying about it being slightly harder now. less QQ pls
  13. Yes you do, there needs to be some penalty to death other then a wipe
  14. the fact that it's not only affecting moddable gear IS a bug however that's not what a LOT of people are complaining about, the majority of people are complaining about the increase in cost in general, the increase in cost isn't hard to get around.
  15. cash sinks exist in every game, just because you have to work to get around the cash sink now doesn't make it bad design the only thing that makes it "bad design" is the fact that it was nearly a year of it not being this way. If the repair costs were the same as they are now the whole time, it wouldn't be an issue
  16. i don't know how that says "it doesn't affect me so i don't care" in fact more accurately it would say "i've adapted, adapt or die"
  17. if you do prog raiding, you are basically working, this change hurts prog raiders the most, casuals will be affected but not nearly to the degree of prog raiders
  18. while leveling, you don't have to use the gtn at all, you can get all the gear you need through quests, i've leveled up multiple crafting profs (cybertech synth bio arms) all while leveling a character, and never bought resources off the GTN. You do NOT need to use the gtn whlie leveling, at all
  19. except, it was, unless you can go into code and PROVE that it wasn't actually bugged and they decided to jack up the price, you cannot say that it wasn't bugged.
  20. i call 100% BS, there is no possible way, unless you are dieing a LOT, OR you buy **** off the gtn Through all expenses commonly leveling a full toon to 50 you should get around 1 mil extra credits, your claim of getting 30k in the span of 25 levels is COMPLETELY wrong
  21. Wait people are complaining about repair costs NOW? meanwhile being a progression raider with only 2 places to do dailies meant you got a solid 2 repairs in from yellow status before you were broke at launch because repairs were ~80k OH NO TEH REPAIRS ARE LIKE 30K MAN!!!! THATS LIKE! A LOT
  22. it just makes it more fluid and the design more mobile friendly. Though it's not compatible with my device QQ -_-
  23. appreciate the love, i play tanks 95% of the time, while leveling my most recent tank i was doing a red reaper run, we got to the second boss (the pillar changing one) and i asked my dps to get pillars and i would get one, that way 3 would flip, i got my one no dps go theirs, i asked again, and once again they missed their pillars, luckily the healer kept up, leaving me to click on 2 or 3 pillars on my own while holding threat, while the dps just didn't give a **** and kept slashing away. Not a fun run. I just wish more people would realize how annoying tanking is and how they can make it easier on their tanks. However a lot of dps just don't give a ****, which is why if your a dps and you keep running ahead, I will let you die until you learn your lesson
