  1. Please do, and if it shows someone getting stunned, mezzed, or knockedback with full resolve...I'll be more than willing to agree with your complaint. Until then, BS.
  2. God. No. 10-49 WZ is fine. A level 10 has a better chance at a level 49 than does your average leveler facing a twink in WoW. Go play WoW now, go do a 10-19 BG, go see for yourself.
  3. I would need to see proof of being stunned, mezzed, or knockbacked with a full resolve bar to believe it. I have never had that happen to me once. I've been rooted with a full resolve bar, which I really hope is fixed in a future patch, but never stunned or mezzed.
  4. My Force Cloak ability was (until i changed it) far too close to my sprint. There were several matches (more than I'm proud of) where I would be sprinting the final distance to the goal line, only to realize that I inadvertently clicked Force Cloak, vanishing, and losing the ball.
  5. Been there, done that. Unless you just want to gank noobs, EvE PvP is about 2 hours of gate jumping for about 3 minutes of fighting. It's fun when it happens, with a level of depth that is unmatched in any other game, but the nature of EvE PvP makes it a pain for anyone with a life outside of video games.
  6. I was giving this topic some thought over lunch, and I think I know the problem (apart from the obvious L2P issue): Project delay. When you hit your project button, there is a delay that spans almost a full GCD before the damage actually registers. Most Inf Shadows will hit Project immediately followed by Force Breach, the damage for both abilities will go off at about the same time. Each ability when fully geared, fully buffed, and with CDs burned can crit for about 4k to 5k. Easy to see how some can mistake this for being taken down to 50% in a single hit. As to the 'every single hit' ...no. This burst requires 2x CS to setup, and that doesn't hit very hard at all. Project is on a 6 sec CD and Force Breach is on a 12 sec CD with talents.
  7. 7K per swing? Not quite. That said, I just specced from a Hybrid Tank spec to Inful recently, and man...the burst a Shadow can deal out is pretty high. It's not quite the big numbers, its more of how easy it is to string multiple big hits together. - Spinning Kick to open with a 2 sec knockdown - 2x Clarvoint Strike - Pop CDs - Project / Force Breach / Shadow Strike x 2 - If they are still alive, Spinning Strike. Getting the Project and Force Breach to crit is fairly easy with Force Potency, if at least 1 of the 2 Shadow Strikes crit, you will have taken the opponent down to about 30% fairly easily. The problem is that after this is done, the Shadow is pretty much out of force and a DPS specced shadow cant take even a 1/3rd of the beating as their Kinetic counterparts.
  8. This thread is proof that it doesn't matter what BW does, these boards will be full of trolls.
  9. So, they give the same content in a different skin and you see that as variation? To each their own I suppose.
  10. My comment was regarding the comparison to WoW zones, not GW2. As to your response though, I would point out how well that experience worked out for WAR.
  11. To OP: If the niche in the market is there, why don't you develop your own MMO?
  12. Subjective I suppose. - PvE Questing - PvP in WZ's - Space Combat - PvE grinding (killing mobs). - Flashpoints That's my definition of leveling options. I find it to be pretty good. As to the linear nature of the game, it doesn't have to be that way. I've skipped several planets (everything but my class quest), knowing that I'll spend more time on those planets with my alts. Would it be nice to be able to go to planet X or Y instead of being forced to go to planet X, yes, but from my perspective, I prefer multiple ways to level and not multiple zones.
  13. Ahhh, so instead of killing 20 harpies in a mountainous area, you can kill 30 boars in a grassy area. So much freedom.
  14. Oh I agree with the fact that hunting for datacrons is in no way fun. But rep grinding isn't fun either, neither is rolling noobs in a premade to grind valor. My point is that time sinks and carrots for exploring do exist in this game. If you are not looking for a timesink, the MMORPG genre is probably not for you.
