Yeah I know you can't compare the two but I wanted to give some background for reference. I currently have 1 or 2 70s and a couple of 65s. I started back at launch 9 years ago! I am willing to grind up 50 influence companions over time if I feel like it will pay off in the end. Should I keep cyber tech then or would it be better if I replaced it? I could also have my alt leveled up too and then still keep cyber tech on my main while doing other stuff on the alt. I have tried to do some digging online but not much for in-depth info these days for the new crafting (6.0). Thank you again!

Thank you for the quick and detailed response, Steve. I come from SWG back in the day and did a lot with crafting which is a bummer here. I have a 600 Cybertech and Scav that I was going to level to 700 but from what I gather from your post, it might not be worth my time?

I have to agree that some stuff needs improvement. I am just thankful to have a SW MMO to play. Boy do I miss SWG but this game I think has improved overall since the launch. (I still wish crafting meant more)

Well nice to see the community is so nice still. I clearly just misread it. I thought it said sub before Feb 29th and I just assumed I would get it sometime in the first week of March. Now I see it says end of March. Kind of a bummer. Thank you TOR community for your hospitality once again.

I would really like that. Only thing is, would it take away from player interaction on the fleet at all? I do not know but I was just thinking today, they should add some vendors and terms that are not there yet.

Okay awesome. I am getting FPS drop bad in those situations. I have 8 gigs of ram is that enough for it? Where did you get it from? Was it hard to set up?

I have literally done everything I can think of. Running I7 Quad core 8 gigs of ram Radeon 6870 1 gig ddr5 It is def the game and not my setup. Not much more I can do. When I can run RIFT in max settings with pvp and not get drops but this game I do. I am getting fed up with this optimization BioWare. I am a Pre Order vet and fps has gotten worse over time.

No that is the thing, I am not doing anything different and have not been to any "bad" sites or anything like that. Okay people are saying it is the CPU bottle necking. Why would it be doing it now? I also have a CPU way ahead of the min require so I just don't understand why it would be that all of a sudden. You think there might be hidden stuff running on the cpu? If so what is the best way to find that?

Okay but I am running an Intel I7 quad core. I said I have 1 gig ram on the vid card. My comptuer has 8 gigs of ram actually. Like I said I used to never get the hang up but now I do. I don't get the hang up in other games. So I was wondering why since patch 2.8 I have been getting this stupid drop. My Computer is def above the "min requirements"

Oh and I run games like Rift on high with not a problem or lag spike. Company of Heros 2 on high with no problem. Battlefield 3 no problem. But this game recently has been giving me a huge problem. (Also had trouble with WIldstar beta but that was beta and eh I don't even care about that game haha just giving info. thanks again!)

Hey everyone, I have recently been experiencing fps drops/spikes. I can not wrap my finger around it. I have usually had no problems and seem to do fine with other games. I am running a Radeon HD 6870. 1 gig ddr3 I believe. I usually run 35-70 fps no problem. Recently been having it drop down to 5 fps for about 5 seconds and it really hinders my gameplay. The Meter is also red, not exactly sure if that helps at all. Any ideas why this could be starting up now? -Thanks Cripop

Okay well I can for sure tell you not much has changed on my PC or my ISP. So those would not be my reasons for the lag. It would not be on my side. It would seem it would have to be on the TOR side of things. I run other games and such no problem but for some darn reason ever since 2.8 I get some issues now.

I have been getting what seems to be a lot of lag spikes. Before the update hardly had any. After 2.8 I seem to be getting a little more freezing and delays. Then it catches up. Never had the problem before. Anyone else going through this as well? -Thanks

Do you think AP is better to level with. Or just depends on what you are in the mood for? Big AOE damage from that 12 second CD?

Which one do you guys prefer to level with? I am level 32 and been playing Pyro. It seems okay but I read that AP might have better survivability and maybe a little higher dps output? Thanks

I have been using GF and whenever I travel to the instance it completely disappears. Can not bring it back for anything and then I try and exit area then it is gone. I have to completely shut down the game and wait. IDK anyone have any ideas?:mad:

Well I never knew you could put the cooldown timers on your bar. I feel like an idiot not knowing they had that in game now haha.

I actually just had a char restored this week in fact. I played this game in beta pre order sub vet here. I took a break and then came back when f2p hit and it only let me have 2 toons at the time so I deleted on level 26 bh. Which I came to regret. I recently resubbed and wanted that toon back. I filed a ticket and they responded saying to make sure I had a slot open and that it could take up to 3 weeks and in the mean time to just enjoy the game. I came back and one day my toon was just there with a name of adfjewjkrhqjewekjadskadjlk. Like no joke just a bunch of random letters. Made me give it a new name and then I was good to go. Had inventory of stuff from before with compans with different loyalty ratings and all. Hope that helps.
