  1. Juggs do more than tank you know. I regularly top kills and damage with my vengeance jugg along with a bunch of protection too. Warriors get a lot of their good talents and abilities later then some of the other classes. You'll be fine at end game OP.
  2. I don't get carried by teams it's vice versa. When I'm pulling more than my share of the weight and we're still getting destroyed because pugs on my team don't know wz basics I'm not sticking around and wasting my time and effort.
  3. If I couldn't leave a warzone in which I was stuck with absolute **** teammates getting facerolled I would quit this game altogether. See the pugs are ruining pvp thread. Until some kind of better system is in place to pair people with other people of similar skill level we better be able to quit warzones.
  4. This man speaks the truth. The only way to fix this is for them to implement some sort of cross server matchmaking system that would pair the bad with the bad and good with the good.
  5. I really hope to get a dev response on this timeline. It's very accurate and shows just how badly they've been messing up pvp while trying to improve it. That upcoming pvp patch better do a lot.
  6. All the pvp qq about rage spec means it probably won't stay this good for pve for long. That's my guess at least.
  7. I've been a vengeance jugg for over a year now and since 2.0 I've done almost nothing but exclusively pvp in vengeance and this is my current build. http://swtor.askmrrobot.com/skills/juggernaut#2-1232312121300212223023-1000023 There are a few points you could play around with I suppose. I could see dropping ruin to pick up another point in enraged defense or cutting sundering throw maybe. I feel like seething hatred is a really underrated talent in pvp. If you're objective oriented like me and don't like to just stand at one point the whole match and mindlessly dps it triggers quite often and even triggers when enemies stealth out of combat. I've also noticed it will trigger at times when I don't completely exit combat and wouldn't be able to rest or just exit for a moment after killing an enemy or something. I definitely missed it when I tried pvping without it. I added sundering throw so I could get the armor reduction going all the time in combo with seething hatred. I'd be willing to explain my reasoning for any other choices.
  8. Do melee users such as carnage maruders and vengeance juggernauts want more than 95% or is 95 fine for them too?
  9. Everyone is still stuck on vig/veng. Focus/rage is just as good or better for pve jugg/guardians now. I out dps the marauder, merc, and sniper in my raid group with either spec. Rage is my preferred spec atm. I just parse way higher on TFB HM bosses with rage and I also do about 200 more damage on an ops dummy in rage as well.
  10. I'm similar to you guys and I found my dps went up when I switched to rage spec. It got a lot better for pve post 1.4 with the buffs to the tree. I was putting out similar numbers in vengance and now that I switched it's like 1800-1900. Made it onto http://www.torparse.com/statistics my first go with Rage spec on the first 3 bosses of HM TFB 8 man. My name is Caeus from the Harbinger btw.
  11. Here's my build https://swtor.askmrrobot.com/character/11f47c18-34ba-49ca-9a5c-a40e40cbf327 Not bis in every slot yet but I'm getting close.
  12. I have 3 sets of gear on me at all times and field respec so I'm ready for any situation.
  13. Some of them are really close and all are competitive imo but that's the best way I could break it up based on what I've seen in warzones.
  14. Powertech / Vanguard Marauder / Sentinel Sniper / Gunslinger Juggernaut / Guardian Assassin / Shadow Sorcerer / Sage Operative / Scoundrel Mercenary / Commando
  15. If the bm he has on is just relics then that's fine.
  16. You can use swmonitor with it's overlay feature to watch the dps of your entire raid as long as you all connected to it while you're in raid.
  17. Did it when it came out in rakata with 2 melee so it's doable. As much as I hate to say it seems like an l2p issue. I shudder to think what your opinion of HM EC would be.
  18. At least as a vengeance jugg because of the rage refund from shien form my dps skyrockets when there are a group of mobs because I saber throw charge and then smash which fills my rage bar almost all the way up then I throw in sundering assault and enrage when necessary and I can just spam aoes over and over again. Sweeping slash on it's own is a weak expensive attack but with shien form and using multiple slashes on a group of enemies it really adds up quick.
  19. **** that I queue for tank and dps and have gear for both and field respec. Don't take away options from me just because people are stupid.
  20. Think he meant the part where we have to clear the shield mobs because cyclone slash is knight version of sweeping slash. I don't know about the maraduers but I always smash and then just spam sweeping slash over and over until they're dead. In Shien form I can get out a lot of sweeping slashes with a full rage bar.
  21. I think you just suck at vengeance and have to play a simpler spec based around one attack. Vengeance is a very viable pvp spec don't listen to this guy.
  22. between points in voidstar it's my number 1 priority because slowing enemies is better then killing them so they can respawn and stop caps. Yesterday I stopped like 3-4 enemies from reaching mid in time to prevent a cap in civil war. It's a situational ability so it's usefulness is 10 in those situations. It's a nice anti-kite ability too so I'll throw it if I feel someone is gonna give me trouble in that aspect as well.
  23. Stance dancing is one unique characteristic of juggs. You should switch to soresu when the occasion calls for it but people that like to stay in soresu all the time and are dps specced are just bad.
  24. Still pretty useful. It only costs 1 rage talented in rage and vengeance has the rage to spare to use it when necessary. It's really great to slow down multiple enemies to prevent them from reaching a point your team is trying to cap.
  25. Dude you are seriously just bad. As a vengeance jugg I'm a monster in pvp and can take on any other melee class. In Huttball I have the mobility to be the best defender and ball carrier. In all the other warzones I just run around killing people in a few attacks each. Charge > ravage > impale > Scream > choke > vicious throw is an easy way to deal with any marauder and prevents undying rage. A lot of the time the scream isn't even necessary. Assassins are a joke the only class that worries me is a good dps powertech but there aren't too many that I encounter and I avoid powertechs anyway because they're harder to kill with melee attacks. I hope they buff vengeance juggs because people like you whine over your class being bad when in reality you just don't know how to play it.
