Ok, I've got a huge beef about this topic as I'm sure others have as well. I get that you wanted to make purple crystals kinda mean something in game by making them hard to get, hard to find, hard to make. I get that. But why is it that EVERY SINGLE NPC gets a purple crystal? I mean seriously. I counted like 5-7 NPC sith on Taris that had purple sabers. Every single Esh-Ka guy with a gun has purple bolts. If you want them to be rare, MAKE THEM RARE!! But the constantly thumbing of the nose by giving every NPC one is just kinda stupid.

The problem isn't the comm vendors really. The problem is that entire classes are ignored with this reverse engineer and overall pattern system they've installed with cybertech. I hadn't realized that you could make the entire cyber profession obsolete at 50 with the ilum missions since I'm only 46 still, but that fact alone is ridiculous. At that rate the only thing cybertech would be useful for then is for alts/companions. Yay!

ok artifice and cybertech are completely different in the first place. Here I will give you an example of why reverse engineering these to get better is useless deft mod 22a green: 34 str 19 end 5 power blue: 41 str 21 end 7 power purple: 47 str 27 end 8 power As a tank I DON'T NEED POWER. defense and shield chance are worlds better, not to mention that slight shift here would make them somewhat more useful than they are. I don't need all that strength, great I can do a little more dps but as a tank I WANT TO TANK!!

on belsavis you can buy a +21 end +16 shield +14 defense mod, I can't create anything close to this. And I'm sorry but you can buy stuff on hoth that's better. Stats and nearly useless as you start getting into harder and harder content. As a tank str is great, but endurance and stats that help mitigate damage are better. I have plenty of endurance, you can get what you need from the armor mod slot, but the enhancenement and mod slots are used for the better secondary stuff.

I picked cyber up after beta because I thought this would be a viable way to go as a crafting profession. Why is it, that the entire section of 'mods' is utterly useless? The first tier portion is ok, but becomes progressively worse as you level it. When you get down to the more specialized ones that offer crit or power for the various class skills they are junk. You can go to belsavis and spend 20 mins farming 2 commendations for something that's 20x better. Currently there is no reason to reverse engineer any of these because all the upgraded version adds is a few more stat points and 'ONE' increase in the specialty stat. Come on seriously? Why can't I create a +14 defense mod, or a +14 crit mod like I can buy from a freaking vendor?

more pew pew less QQ. Seriously I have never seen this in this game other than heroic areas which you shouldn't be soloing if you can't handle the respawns in the first place.

why? this game is not designed around that. There are blue or purple items that are not modded that have stats relevant to the level of the item. Orange gear is completely different. Just because when they're stripped clean that they are identical no matter what level it is has NO bearing on the item. Its about the mods placed inside. Sorry you don't like this game mechanic but there are other gear avenues for you to play with if you don't like it, just move along its not really an issue.

Every Relic that has a secondary click effect on it shares a cooldown. Or more precisely has a global that's used. The ones I played with in beta the actual cooldown use on one was much longer than the global to use the 2nd but you can't just spam those things they are extremely powerful artifacts. They are more generally used as having 1 and stacking a much larger stat one in the 2nd slot. You are never meant to be able to stack these.

There will never be in game events to match real life holiday milestones. This was stated several several times prior to launch, has been stated by George Lucas in particular. You will NOT be celebrating valentines day in TOR. Move along.

the color crystal NEVER behaved as a color change crystal. Since they brought it on board you could add it in the color crystal section of your lightsaber or gun. From the point of finishing your class story quest on the starter planet you can use it. You can't buy something better till your 20s so you get a decent amount of use out of it if you choose to. This item was never misrepresented. Sorry.

you can easily fix your mistake by swapping out the color crystal. That is all that is really keeping you from using it at the moment.

This **** needs attention ASAP. The fact you launched the Early Access with half as many West coast servers is a blatant slap to those that don't live on the east coast. Its like every media outlet and business thinks nobody lives out here or something. 1 Hour queue is NOT going to fly. I picked this server because a guild of friends was force placed on here, now I have to choose whether I'm going to play with friends or play at all. Seriously? Also if this isn't fixed I'm going to find ways to force my character to stay logged in, cause I'm not PAYING to wait in line to play a game. This **** was brought up when you did your beta stress testing, you need a higher server pop cap!!

No the space portion of the game is currently a mini game that you play solo. Its something that you can use to pass the time, customize your ship etc.
