  1. I love it too. I never enjoyed WoW. Not that it wasn't a good game, it just wasn't for me. I'm not "all about end game content" and I don't like to have to grind 85 levels just to get to the fun part. I'm a simple man with simple tastes. I like a good story, some fun action and hey blasters! This game was made for me. I would feel bad for those that disagree but hey, you guys had 7 years with WoW. Now it's my turn.
  2. ...Or do some people seem to be rooting for this game to fail? That's the part that irritates me. Go ahead and point out the flaws. No game is perfect and if we don't tell the developers what we're having trouble with than we'll never get these issues fixed. The problem is the tone of the posts. The "I'm gonna laugh when this game crashes and burns" that I seem to pick up on in these forums. Look I get that each of us has a list in our heads about what the perfect Star Wars MMO would be and it can be upsetting when the reality doesn't match that desire. Here's the problem though, if this game fails I am all but certain they will never try another Star Wars MMO again, at least not for another ten years or more. I mean that would be two massively expensive failures one right after another. Any company that takes this on after that would have to be stupid. It would only be logical to assume that Star Wars and MMOs do not mix. So it's like this. If the game succeeds you have a chance (maybe not a perfect chance but a chance) to get what you want or pretty close to what you want. You just have to be patient and hope the game succeeds. Or you can root for it to fail, laugh as it all burns and then never get a game even close to this ever again! It seems pretty clear to me. If you really want a Star Wars MMO you would want this game to succeed, help guide it to where you want it to be. If not than I have to question if maybe what you really want,is just to watch something burn and if that's the case than I guess I don't know what to say.
  3. Here's my issue and maybe you can help me. Everyone complains about Ninja looters and I understand the concept and why it would be a problem. Here's the problem I have though. How are you supposed to be able to tell in the middle of a firefight at a glance, that the item is something you need or not? I'm serious. I know I'm probably going to get laughed at for this but I mean it. An item pops up and I'm supposed to make a split second decision about that item all while I'm monitoring my health bar, spamming attacks on an enemy and dodging return fire. I don't know how I can do that. But if I guess wrong, if I hit need instead of greed or need when I should have passed, than suddenly I'm a Ninja looter and it's ignore city. How do you deal with that? Do you just wait until the firefight is over and then choose? What do you do? Thanks.
