  1. I don't really understand the point of limiting "looks" to such a degree that they are currently limited. For example: - Why can only a Jedi Shadow use a double bladed lightsaber? - Why do I have to pick commando if I want to use assault cannons? - Why can't a powertech also use two blasters? I understand certain limits, like Lightsabers are Jedi/Sith only, etc...but why limit it beyond that? Stats isn't really a reason because they could have been created to be equal for more then one advanced class type. I'd love to be able to play as a trooper with a assault cannon as I think they look much cooler, but I can't because I want to play a tank....
  2. Would you guys consider Star Wars as a theme to be "boyish" or gender neutral? We are considering setting up our Nursery with a Star Wars theme, however we won't know the sex of the baby for awhile. I feel that Star Wars is gender neutral, my wife disagrees and feels it's very male driven and would make no sense for a girl. Thoughts?
  3. Pretty sure he's not born yet, plus then it would be too late.... I'm thinking we need to let them know so they can take out Palpatine.
  4. So I was thinking, if I told someone from the Jedi Order and the Republic about the Imperials plans 3000 years in the future, they would know it was coming and be able to stop it. Any idea who I should tell?
  5. Each advanced class has two trees actually, one is shared between both advanced classes. I fail to see how not wanting to repeat the same missions and content you just finished again in order to try another type of the same class is being lazy. But more so, I fail to see how being able to do this would affect YOU in a negative way. You say lazy players, I say selfish players.
  6. This is true, but at least different classes have different class stories. Having to play the same class twice to try both advance classes adds nothing but annoyance and really takes you out of the game and it's story. What harm would come if players could spend credits to change their AC for the first 10 levels (10-20)? Would your game become depressing because you decided what you wanted to play sooner then someone else? I understand not allowing it at max level, or even at higher levels but the way it's currently setup is just disappointing.
  7. But you're looking at the game like this is WoW and it's not. SWTOR is largely about the STORY of the game and building a character in the Star Wars universe. You lose large amounts of that immersion by forcing players to play the exact same level 1-10 story on every class they wish to try the advance classes of. How do I gain anything or benefit in anyway by being forced to play the same starting area twice for each class? How does it add anything to my enjoyment? I understand the point of advance classes, and they definitely need to be limited and not changeable after a certain point, but that point shouldn't be the second you pick one. At least let us try out the advance classes for a few levels before making us repeat 10 hours of content we just finished.
  8. I don't understand the purpose of forcing us to level twice in order to try both advance classes, especially given that the story line is EXACTLY the same. Why not allow us to change our advance class for a credits cost between levels 10 and 20? That way we can get a feel for the play style and pick what we enjoy, not randomly select off a one line description and some talents. I understand not having AC switching at higher levels, but making us level twice to ten is silly... Just my 2 cents.
