This is not WoW. Stop comparing the two.
  2. There is a difference between making suggestions and and whining.
  3. And let me suggest that you go code your own mmo if you think you know better than Bioware.
  4. Thats four more seconds than you would have without the talent. Buffing the duration would make Vengeance borderline OP in PvP.
  5. Gear out Doc and run the droid with him. You'd be suprised at how much your survivabilty jumps up.
  6. Thats the mask that the Dread Masters wear. I like it.
  7. If I understand correctly how achievements work, you'll have to do a dark and light playthrough on each class to get all of the possible story related achievements.
  8. Well, I was hoping to dps. Is Vengeance suddenly considered a tank spec in 2.0? o.O
  9. 'Allo all! After a brief stint leveling a Gunslinger Pub side I'm back to take my 46 Jugg to 50 (and later 55)! Now, I've never been good with builds. My Jugg isn't 50 so I can't do the extensive testing for myself that others are able to do, so I'm not quite sure if the build I'm rocking now is optimal. So, what are you guys having success with in 2.0?
  10. Lifeless, huh? Guess all of the players I see running around the fleet and every planet I go to are just figments of my imagination. Don't get me wrong, ToR is far from perfect but it is currently the game I have the most fun playing. That may change once Wildstar is released, though.
  11. I know this is a necro, but I just can't help myself. I took a look at that Star Citizen game and to tell the truth, it looks like utter crap. The "story" is copied from Star Ship Troopers sans the giant homicidal bugs. They say that the want to " build a living, breathing universe that is its own entity. It will be a constantly shifting and evolving place for people to go and escape to.", yet they make it clear that it is not an MMO and will have an offline mode. I'm sorry if I'm missing something, but this makes no sense to me. They have no publisher, are crowd sourced, and will not charge anything beyond the initial game purchase. While this is noble they are also making the game easily moddable. This will kill their studio as I can see most people pirating it and then playing offline.
  12. I am currently leveling a Sniper and loving every second of it, but now that I'm on Quesh I'm starting to second guess my choices up to this point. I've been dark since my first mission on Hutta, became the assassin of a certain Sith Lord, let a co-worker bleed out (You can't say it, can you?), the whole nine yards. But now that I'm aware of what the Empire has done to me I'm not so sure I want to further the goals of the Sith. Has this happened to anyone else? Have you gotten midway into a dark playthrough and just get the sudden, intense urge to do a 180 and go light? Thats what I'm feeling now and I'm wondering if I should do what my gut is telling me to do, then just grind out the difference after 50. Thoughts?
  13. Which makes me sad that my IA is male and so is unable to romance Vector. ):
  14. Yeah, I'm mainly looking to DPS. You'd think the Sniper would be a no brainer, but I'm also considering the Operative at this point because of the quality of life and dps buffs they are getting in 2.0.
  15. Guess the 11 people who clicked on the thread don't enjoy the Agent enough to comment. =/
  16. So I have both a Sniper and an Operative. The Sniper is DS, the Operative is LS, and both are at different parts of Chapter 1. My main thus far has been a Juggernaut, but I'm shelving him due to reasons. I really want an Agent as my main now, and with the double XP weekend coming up I need to quickly decide which AC to work on. So taking 2.0 into account, which one would you guys reccomend?
  17. Sniper is just so boring though. I like flashy and very little of the Sniper's kit is flashy. Sorcs on the other hand have the "unlimited power!" lightning storm thing going for them.
  18. So the double XP weekend is coming up and I am thinking of powerleveling a Sorcerer during it. My main is a Juggernaut so I'm looking to bring up a ranged toon next. Neither Merc nor Sniper appeals to me, so here I am! I just had a few questions for the community hear. How are Sorc's doing dps wise currently (Pve and pvp on live)? Are they getting any better or worse in 2.0? If Sorc is your main, what do you love most about the class? And lastly, how is the story? I plan on going LS mostly but will probably pick up some DS points when I have to deal with the nobles on Alderaan. I'm just hoping that the LS Inquisitor story is as satisfying as the LS Warrior one, which I thoroughly enjoyed. Thanks in advance!

    Stuck

Yeah, I'm leaning a bit towards the Marauder right now. My Jugg is light side, so playing as the Marauder would give me the chance to see the dark side version of the Warrior story. The only concern I have is gea asthetics. Does the Marauder gear look decent at higher levels?

Correct, but like I said I'm pretty burned out on tanking at the moment.

    Stuck

Hello everyone! I just resubbed yesterday after a long haitus and see quite a bit has changed. Anyways, I am currently stuck as to which AC to take to 50 and prep for the xpac. Currently my Jugg is 45 and my Marauder is on Korriban, but thats because I just rolled him. Between XP boost and double XP weekend getting to 50 won't be an issue. Here's the thing though. I'm stuck between making Mara or Jugg my main for 2.0. Jugg was my first love and is Immortal spec. Problem is I got burned out on tanking in WoW and thats what I mainly rolled the Jugg for in the first place. Enter the Mara. He's a pure dps class and from what I can tell is slightly ahead of the Jugg in dps terms in 2.0, but I'd have to learn and keybind an entirely new AC. So yeah, thats my delimma in a nutshell. Jugg vs. Mara for 2.0. Any thoughts, comments, advice, and / or opinions are welcome!

    Alt time!

Because the Operative's damage is laughable when compared to any other dps class and I really have no interest in healing.

    Alt time!

So the time has come to level up a new alt with those lovely EXP boosts from the Cartel Market. My main is a Immortal Juggy and currently I am torn between the Assassin and Sniper advanced classes for my next toon. Apples and oranges, I know. My delimma is that while the Agent story is amazing I prefer the gameplay of the Assassin, though the Inquisitor's storyline isn't as enthralling. Good, but I get pulled much deeper into the Agent's story when I play. What is one to do? I have both in their 20's so I need to decide which one to stick with to 50. Yes I know I can level both, but I'd rather not try and raise 2 toons to 50 simultaneously. Too expensive. Playstyle wise I'm leveling as Darkness on the Assassin for the survivability and instant Flashpoints when I decide I need more orange gear. Will probably bounce between Darkness and Madness for PvP. The Sniper is...well....a Sniper. All he is is damage, albeit 3 flavors of damage. The cover mechanic neither annoys or pleases me, so it's not really a factor. I know it's a personal question, but I'm just looking for general insight onto the matter to perhaps gain a different viewpoint. So, story vs. gameplay. Which would you choose?
