uhm, ok ^^ lets assume, besides all that, i wanted to try and min/max just because i like to min/max would i: 1. buy basic force master set 2. dont augument it since its temporal 3. trade in basic force master set for advanced force master set 4. augment advanced force master set 5. switch out unwanted mods/enh and replace with other at 400/800 coms per is that about right ?

i need a pointer about gear again. i have been reading this guide: http://www.swtor.com/community/showthread.php?t=852222 the "equipment" section mentions that you should replace some mods and enhancements on the "force master" set to get either more crit or alacrity. i understand that. now i wonder if i really have to buy the "basic" version of the set, then turn it in and buy the "advanced" version and then replace a lot of mods/enh, seeing those cost about 800 coms per. sound like a lot of coms needed, or is there a different (cheaper) way to do it ? i hope i make sense. also i almost fninished the basic force master set now, should i augment it or wait until i replaced it with the advanced version ?

tnx, a few pointers as to what stats to aim for will not hurt. also the tip about transferable tokens, as a have quite a few on old chars i am currently not planning to play.

hey, thank you for the help. i am allready doing some low level pvp as well as level 60. it will take a while to get back into things. i am completely lost on what pvp gear to get for my sorc tho. i am pretty overwhelmed by all the stuff on the vendors. also which stims to use and which augements to get. i will have to buy everything thats not on the pvp vendor and i remember the auguments to be quite costly. also: the vendors sell pvp sets as well as modifications. i recon the modifications is more a thing of the past since you can now make your outfit look like you want without having to mod orange items ?

hello i quit about 2 years ago and just started playing again yesterday. my old chars are level 55 max with a lot mid level twinks. i plan to play a dps sorc this time around and will be making an instant level 60 character, since i dont care much about the storys and pve anymore, i just want to do WZs all night (i realize i am a strange person). i am a subscriber, got about 10mil credits saved up and 5000 cartel coins. since its been 2 years and im getting old, i forgot a LOT about swtor. i basically need help on setting up a fresh character for pvp, to remortly competetive (usefull) in WZs. so far i gathered i want to have 2018 expertise when i hit 65. and i dont want to mix pve and pvp equip. so when i hit 65 with my instant char with his default equipment (1936exp) i want to: ???

yes but only "disciplin" and "efficient", not the above mentioned "adept". since adept has a bit better stats for dps i was wondering if they are even obtainable somehow or if it was a typo. i could also craft adept 21 (level 47) myself, but not sure if that is allready too high. well i overdid it in first take, level 53 all crafted purple does not work -> expertise goes down to 1800. what i put in now, i will also be using as fresh 55 for a while.

this post is very informative, since i am level 53 on my PT-pyro myself and a little lost on how to gear for pvp. as cybertech i made me level 53 purple mods and armorings and bought a purple barrel and completely broke my bolster (down to 16xx exp), so this post helps big time. 2 things i dont understand yet: 1) are the level 53 blue "microfilament" implants and earpiece from the GTN ok to use ? i am asking since they both have 140+ aim & endurance and they seem not to be crafted (no crafter name on them), or do i HAVE to use crafted overkill/hawkeye ones ? 2) i dont know how to obtain "adept enhancement 20". on my alt i can craft 19 and 21 (level 43 and 47 i think) but not the level 45 ones. the voss vendor only has level 45 "efficient" and "disziplin" enhancements, both with almost the same stats (about 25 end, 17 power, 27 surge) which seem not as optimal as adept-enh for a dps PT.

we should all unsub until they nerf everything.
