  1. Sent this to them in the comment box of my un-sub: I've been subbed since day one, and mostly as principle, because I'd been looking forward to a SW MMO since the first announcement in what, 2008(?), and because I so dearly love Star Wars. I figured, I'd just keep paying the monthly sub fee, even when not playing for months at a time, and my money would be going towards improving the game. Well, you've received roughly $272 now, plus of course the cost of my CE and the Hutt X-pac. But what's changed? Don't get me wrong, it's fun to play for a little while when I come back, but I get bored after a couple of days each time. The dailies and pvp are tedious and there's really nothing in the game to keep me entertained. Trying to get a solid 10 people who don't suck to show up for a raid week after week is tiring in itself. I hate to compare to WoW, but I can go back and forth to it and it's always fun for a longer period of time than SWTOR. But let me get into the thing that is really making me un-sub at this moment, after a year and a half. As a paying player, I pay $15.99 per month and get 500 cartel coins. That's the equivalent of $5, not $15. I totally appreciate the idea of free-to-play and micro-transactions, but at least make it fair. When a set of new cartel outfits came out a few weeks ago, I spent all the coins I saved up on packs trying to get one specific item. Not only did I not get that particular item in the ~3-4 months-worth of saved up coins, I got absolutely nothing rare, nothing special, and nothing worth selling on the GTN. I get the idea of luck, but why does it have to be so difficult to get a desired item? I would have been willing to spend ALL of my saved up coins on the one item. Why not just list out the items available for various prices and let people choose what they actually want? So, when the new hairstyles and outfit dyes came out, I only had a few coins left. I got my hair fixed, which I love, but now I also want some of the new colors as well. Do I have coins? No. And even if I did, could I actually get the color I want? Probably not.
