  1. Did I miss something? With 7.4.1c any daily areas that have been opened in your legacy become available to all toons yes? I just did the weekly for Ossus on a toon that hasn't done that story. Got the weekly quest reward but no conquest? Is this working as intended? IF so, what was the purpose of making these areas available?
  2. This was my thought exactly... "Show a little good faith and open up your idea to all areas of the game. I don't wanna do Heroics, but I do wanna run Ops. Make Ops conquest objectives infinitely repeatable. While you're at it, I'm sure there are others that enjoy Flashpoints or Daily/Weekly quest areas. Make these activities infinitely repeatable. Why is your solution pigeon holing people into one activity? What's the harm in opening this up to everyone and the activities that they actually enjoy spending money/game time on?"
  3. For those of you chomping at the bit to get out there and grind those Heroics. This is the week to do them. Please remember the rotational objectives you're completing before coming back to tout how amazing they were. (Missions: Heroic Pinnacle (82K), Missions: Heroic Eternal (49.5 daily))
  4. Let us know how that works out. I wouldn't hold my breath. : )
  5. You remove my motivation to chase content. I'd have never done the swoop event at all if not for the Advancement: Reputation objective being what it was. So I have to assume that keeping the little guy down (Rep Nerf) is more important than having the community experience the content SWTOR has to offer. As such, Rep is dead to me. No point in chasing it.
  6. It is appalling to me that you made us wait weeks for any real response to the Rep change, and this is what you gave us. I have no interest in grinding Heroics. None what so ever. I do 1 on whatever planet I'm on plus the face rolling activity of Defeat enemies 1 and 2. This is a half measure. Kinda like throwing poo on the wall to see if it sticks. "Perhaps the community will be satisfied w/ this concession...." Having already canceled my sub, I was hoping for more before my playtime expired. If this is the best you can do. I won't abide the change. That said... In the spirit of partnership and compromise, I'll add this. This heroic objective is a barely quantifiable step in the right direction. A step none the less. As stated above, I have NO interest in grinding Heroics. You screwed me and people like me that have spent inordinate amounts of time playing the game to grind Rep Tokens for later use. Show a little good faith and open up your idea to all areas of the game. What's the harm in opening this up to everyone and the activities that they actually enjoy spending money/game time on? EDIT: The day you implement these suggested changes is the day I'll purchase a 6 month subscription.
  7. My account is an example of that you must be referring to. I starting playing the game in 2011. Patch 7.4.1 was the first time I was frankly, irritated enough to add my voice to the forums. My forum account is what? 2 weeks old? I love the game and have put considerable time and money into it over the years. I'm not entirely sure that these/my posts will amount to any significant change, but I felt I had to try something.
  8. You are spot on. Though I wouldn't consider this at all subtle. This is a strategy to reduce player self reliance thru Gear/Credit/Resource reduction. Short term, this only hurts the occasional player w/ little access to credits. Long term these changes will have an impact on the game/community as a whole. When negotiating, you ask for the best possible deal and then scale back as needed. This is exactly the tactic being used w/ these new xmog/cosmetic drops. Broadsword showed you the worst it could be then scales back in hopes you don't notice that you're still getting screwed. 7.4.1b is a wait and see "compromise." This isn't a fix and it certainly doesn't do right by the community.
  9. There is something that dawned on me this week that I feel is worth adding to this post. In reading some of the Dev justification responses to the Advancement: Reputation Nerf, they mention the addition of other conquest objectives to off set this jaw dropping change. They added Galactic Seasons: Weekly Objectives - 4 tasks worth 21,125 (weekly task) and Galactic Seasons: Progress - Gain a seasonal level worth 9,500 (daily task). On Satele Shan server, if I'm not chasing these weekly objectives on Tuesday I may or may not get the group(s) to complete them. The first 2 weeks into the season I've been 7 of 7 for weeklies on Tuesday. That being said... IF you log in and do a little conquest every day you're getting 2 points as a daily and thus the Galactic Season: Progress is going to pay out 3 POSSIBLY 4 times depending on where the login reward awards in the schedule. So at BEST... assuming you finished your weeklies on Tuesday you're going to get 59,125 throughout the rest of the week for these laughable new objectives. Add the 7,625 per day for post nerf Rep and you're getting 112,500. This is compared to the 301,000 you were getting across 7 days for pre nerf rep. Please feel free to check my math.
  10. That's why i mentioned that the jury was still out on who this nerf is really meant for. It has to be about the few newer and or occasional players that may be F2P or don't have billions on hand. I like what you've said here about the appearance of being busy. If I were a new company trying to make a profit from a video game management gig, I'd want people to feel like there are people here playing the game. But ultimately you're spot on imho. Queue times are a good indicator as well
  11. The thoughts and Ideas that were shared the other day allowed me to refine this post. It also gave me a little empirical data from nearly a week of playtime
  12. You got me super curious about this so I called Support. Date of 1st forum post is what i was told.
