  1. @JackieKo @KeithKanneg @EricMusco im not sure if its relavant to post here . but i got suggested to post this too here , i trust people have similar issues. here is the original post . and hope for the best possible outcome for our community. https://forums.swtor.com/topic/933956-a-reflection-on-sv-transfers/#comment-9802674
  2. @JackieKo @KeithKanneg @EricMusco "I am aware that everyone has their real-life problems, and in the game, I am just a regular player. I don't have any special exceptions to plea, as I assume many players are asking for the same thing. However, this is no excuse for not resubscribing, but I want to. My internet was cut out for about two weeks, and on January 2nd, I couldn't play or get my sponsorships on that day, or perhaps it expired. Also, the USD vs. the currency where I live is four times more, so I couldn't possibly afford to resub. But I am glad to have a bunch of people in the community who have given me a sub key or Steam gift every time. I am also aware that I don't want to sound like a pity case, but SWTOR keeps me going, and the other players around me are happy and willing to sort me out with a sub for years. I have been managing about three guilds, so I am always there for them, and they appreciate me being there. Even though, in reality, my situation is challenging, I am always optimistic and help cheer people up when I am there. I help create content for them or find ways to do stuff together, or just keep them entertained and keep their minds off their own hardships. They also see me as a mediator of drama and conflicts. When I'm not in voice or in the guild, people just aren't there and do other stuff or do raids with different guilds. A friend even told me that I'm the glue holding everyone together, that I de-escalate conflicts and come up with compromising ideas. Unfortunately, that community has disbanded or doesn't see eye to eye in resolving their ideas. Perhaps it was just confusion, a lapse in communication, or a misunderstanding because I wasn't there and had to deal with real-life problems and stuff. I don't want to bring in personal issues of mine, and it is not relevant, but I had to choose family first. My mom can't walk, and she is literally level 75, so I had to pause SWTOR. I'm sure other people have similar real-life and unavoidable problems; that is part of being human. The SWTOR community is a part of my extended family; we help each other, share ideas, and stay motivated. I am deeply disheartened that I was not there for the disputes, which I have been trying to mediate and hold the community together for months, nearly half a year now. They have even reached out to sort my internet bills because I am needed around to keep the peace and de-escalate issues between players. I guess what I am hoping you take away from this is, life's difficulties often get in the way, and as much as I love SWTOR, maintaining a subscription has become increasingly challenging. I know many in the community who feel as I do, and I am hoping that you guys perhaps reconsider the sub requirement for free transfers to Shae Viszla, or perhaps be more generous to those without the sub, perhaps allowing 5 free transfers. Well, I don't want to waste any more of your or your team's time reading this. Just understand that without SWTOR or any other game that involves working together and building relationships, it brings us all hope to better ourselves and reach out and try to get better, be positive, and be good. Despite the struggle to get WiFi, to get in touch with my community, the struggle with work and health issues, for the past 12 years, SWTOR has kept me positive, and I will continue to help make this community better. Our community is smaller, but we look out for each other, just like in any community-based game. Be good." and hope . bb
