  1. I agree that these should Legacy Bound. The event is seldom active, plus there are only a few missions that provide the tokens. Add to it that some of us actually work for a living and have various commitments, getting enough tokens to purchase high value items takes multiple events for a single character. Alternatively, add more missions that give tokens. All-in-all, the Gree event is rather poorly designed.
  2. I guess I am not a typical MMO player. I hate running around. I especially hate revisiting the same area over and over again. I hate low probability random drops. I would rather due a 15-part (non-heroic) quest line with a guaranteed result. I hate the HK-51 quest, I dislike the seeker droid quest (although it is better than the HK-51), and I don't like the tauntaun quest. I find 0 for 9 success rate to be piss-poor and lazy quest design. On the other hand, I have several crafters, so a quest line that had some crafting in it would be fine by me since I can make most things. It's just that I have seen this type of thing done better in other games.
  3. All I can say is that you guys are luckier than I am. I am 0 for 9 of luring ATM, so I thing the whole bait/lure thing is a bit overrated. Frankly, I am tired of the time-wasting quests (HK-51, Tauntaun, etc.) in this game. I would prefer a fixed set of tasks, however long, that resulted in 100% success. I play to have fun, not be frustrated by low probability random grinding.
  4. I am with the op on this one. I am 0 for 9 ATM for luring a tauntaun. The success rate needs to be increased to 50% -75% and/or the cool down needs to be reduced to just a few minutes. I find the 500 credit price for bait to be annoying, but reasonable only if the success rate is significantly increased.
  5. At 8:15 PM EST, I quit the game in disgust due to the lag. I have actually died in combat because the lag is so bad. Either add more resources to address the population overload or open up some additional servers in order to lighten the load. I have played since launch day and one year later, this should not be a problem. This is the most mis-managed resource allocation that I have seen in an MMO.
  6. At 8:15 PM EST I quit the game in dusgust becuase the kag is so bad. Either add more resources to deal with the population overload or open up a couple of extra servers to lighten the load. I have actually died in combat due to lag. I have played since launch day and one yearlatter, this should not be a problem.
  7. Please fix the following, in no particular order: Add a global/server-wide chat for Flashpoint groups. Otherwise, create a Flashpoint queue system along the lines of the PvP queues. Allow speeders to be used in spaceports and orbital stations. Running through big open no-content spaces is boring. Get rid of orbital stations. Other than one encounter for the Jedi Knight, I have not seen a use for these time wasting, resource consuming, worthless zones. The Jedi Knight encounter can be rewritten so that it happens upon leaving Tython at the appropriate time. Fix all of the broken lore, species, etc. codex items. Fix the twitch-fest pipe-crawls for datacrons. Nar Shaddaa is the worst offender for this extremely annoying mechanic. Either get rid of the trash vendors (heavy, medium, and light armor, plus weapons) or give them something worthwhile to sell. A useless vendor is just a waste of computer resources. Give the social vendors some medium and heavy armor items. Add auction house kiosks and banks to more planets. Add more cross-faction auction house kiosks. So far, the only one that I have seen is on Nar Shaddaa. If not, then quit providing other-faction items and recipes to players. Increase the chance of finding recipes, especially lower level recipes at higher levels. As the server population grows in the number of high level characters, the lower level recipes become rarer (at least on my server).
  8. The biggest issue with the GS is that all of the high damage abilities require cover. I have been blown, shock stunned, and force choked out of cover more times than I can count. The entire cover system is a bust in PvP because of it. I am a lover of AOEs. My EQ2 SK was speced with ten AOEs, so I loved battles with tons of standard level guys. I hate the current AOEs for the GS. I would rather have them follow a the target around and do collateral damage to any and all that he/she is near. Instead, the targets just move out of the way. Yes, it is true that I can do a great deal of damage IF I AM LEFT ALONE. That rarely happens in most PvP games that I have been in. The speed and dynamics of Huttball make a GS almost useless because of the cover requirement to activate the high damage abilities. If I am stuck with the current cover system, then give me the ability to see stealth while in cover so that I can blast the shadows/assissins out of stealth the way I get blown out of cover. Otherwise, give me the 100-meter range rifle so that I can reach out and touch someone before the melee guys show up and make my greatest abilities useless.
  9. Since the Devs claim to read these. Pipe crawls for Datacrons. I freely admit that I am not the most gifted/talented/gymnastic person when it comes to hopping and jumping my toon. Nar Shaddaa is the worst offender for this. Hey devs, falling is not fun. I would rather tough fight my way through a zone and simply walk up to a datacron that go through the gyrations needed on Nar Shaddaa. That's my two cents worth, anyway.
