  1. Thank you, I do have a lower level earpiece equipped, but the process of obtaining the ones to decon is painfully slow. I found 25 Red Reaper FP runs is extremely excessive, and madness inducing. šŸ˜“ Needless to say, I persist I must. I think perhaps I made the critical mistake of completing the H&Z quest part in the wrong order somehow. Live and learn. It's one I won't repeat.
  2. Hereā€™s my dilemma. I tried to follow the deets of the link above. I felt SO accomplished when I completed the ā€œTechnoligcal Advancementsā€ quest. I then proceeded to collect a zillion earpieces it seems, and then got my earpiece up to level 336. I am not sure where things went awry, because NOW, when I returned back to Zeek, the mods on the list for me are all level 334. That being said, I do have access to his goods, but at a lower level 334, and not the 336 mods. Additionally, the quest for Hyde and Zeek Prototype is still listed in my Mission Box now, as if I havenā€™t ever done it at all. #1, Does this mean I have to repeat this process all over? Should I still see the quest in my mission box? And, is there a cap on the Flashpoint for how many times it can be repeated? After my 5th run of it today, It now says that Red Reaper Holopoint console is ā€œofflineā€. I attempted a few others, was successful at 1, and got defeated on the others, for lack of good gear it seems. My companion is level 50, I am 80, so I would think it relatively smooth. It really is a long endeavor to collect these blast FP-1ā€™s. Frustratinā€™. šŸ˜µā€šŸ’«
  3. Thank you. I wasnā€™t aware. (Palm slap to my forehead) I was running around like a nut looking all over.
  4. Did this quest change? I started it, and got the tablets, but there is no Victory Tablet. What I have is Power, Betrayal,Sacrifice,Strength,Passion, Broken Chains, and Secrets. What am I not doing correctly?
  5. Many thanks to you. I found the vendor. That will help. šŸ‘šŸ»šŸ˜€
  6. I am also stuck. I am at a 327 gear level. I completed the tasks of the Lonaar Eadwinn quest. I also ran numerous fpā€™s and got my blue earpiece upgraded to 332. When I go to Hyde and Zeek, it tells me there is nothing available to me at this time. Did I miss a step or two? Do I have to have more gear that is of a higher level? I am stuck, and could use a little help advice. TYIA
  7. Thank you for making clear what is, to me a bit confusing. In my excitement, I grinded from newb to Level 80 in about 6 weeks, so I could quickly level up for better gear. Then when It came to Hyde and Zeek, I got stuck, and believe I upgraded to green gear and did something in the wrong sequence. It's challenging to find answers. So now, I am also running Red Reaper on repeat to try this again. There are many game aspects that aren't clear, and it ends up being an all day scavenger hunt. The majority of help I get is from reading posts such as these. This helps clarify what to me was uncertain. Very helpful. I hope to soon find success doing this now. Thank you for taking time to help. When I ask, sometimes I am met with snark which is very discouraging.
  8. The litte droid I was seeking was located in Iokath, on the Republic Fleet Side base just across from the Dailies Missions board. It was tucked into the corner next to the other droid that sells you Missles and a Turret Gun to battle the Colossus Droid.
  9. This is another battle that took me over an hour to endeavor repeatedly, due to the fact that the blasted droid nuked me to a crisp once all the little droids around it reared their ugly heads. I DID end up annihilating all those pesky buggers first, because I found out that is the way that shields best from getting all your health drained out of you, and keeps it more consistently even. The trick here is to KEEP MOVING like Evander Holyfield dodging Mike Tyson. The minute I stayed stationery I kept dying repeatedly. Once I made my way around the floor and up and down the ramp in a clockwork fashion, I made much more progress. The toughest part is when it starts wigging out and spinning around, you canā€™t see your target for all the electrical fury going on. It was at that point I kept watching my health bar and my proximity to the Koltos healers to keep me alive. Like Aric Jorgen said ā€œOn Your Feet!ā€ It was a workout.
  10. As I was fighting my way around Iokath, and defeating droids to collect crystals, I had happened upon a droid that converts other materials in your inventory such as ā€œPlasteelā€ etc to swap it for more of the crystals. Now I canā€™t find it again, and was wondering if anyone has the map location in Iokath where it is sitting? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Sorry if this post is in the wrong place. Thanks!
  11. This has got to be the most frustrating solo battle thus far. After finding my weapons useless, I then figured out the shield direction toward the Force Generators. I make my way around, and nearly clear all of those. I whittle Arcann down to about 1/3 left of his health when he starts to direct the thick barrage of yellow bolts toward me. Are you, at that point supposed to continue lifting the shield back up to deflect his yellow lightning bolts toward you? Are you supposed to shoot with a ranged weapon? I have tried both ways, only to unsuccessfuly succumb to his melee of devastation. I canā€™t defeat him no matter what I try. He gets me at the very end when the building starts to crumble. There have been times when I had to go back and pick up the shield off the designated spot repeatedly during battle with Arcann still having 100% of his health. Itā€™s madness! ( UPDATE:after about try 51, I FINALLY got his butt! šŸ¤Ŗ. OMG!
  12. Well, after my 50 or so attempt at defeating this crazy wretch, I FINALLY came out the victor. I thought the Iknayid Spider was bad!!! This took forever. I am primarily a Trooper Operative, with a blaster rifle. You pretty much NEED to keep moving at all times. Staying put is where she gets her draining advantage to defeat you. I did this repeatedly trying to use my shields which were basically useless. Whenever the boulders stop falling, and causing you to move out of the way, keep blasting, and circling around her, and keep using your adrenaline and shield probes if you have them. Do not get near any of the ledges that do down the rocky ramp. Don't stop moving. She continues to regain ALL of her health resulting in your having to start the battle all over again. I needed to find all my "buffs" (if that's the right term) to slowly keep regenerating my health and keep it in a place where I wasn't sent back to the medical center, LOL! This was, by far, the longest hardest villain to defeat by far. I almost gave up and threw in the proverbial towel. It was tough! But the saving grace in my victory is, that she had about 1/8th left on her health bar, and it ended with the cut scene of Marr and Satele Shan. I can now breathe a sigh of relief. This one was nearly impossible.
  13. I died instantly after arriving in that room to fight him, then I died a second time after 20 seconds or so in one shot. I did as suggested here, and got up under it like it was my personal metal umbrella, and pummeled it with my blaster pistol from underneath. That took about 30 seconds. Easy peasy.
  14. The tentacles DO indeed pop up around the area of the pond he sits in the middle of. In the dirt around you. For me, they popped up mostly around the perimeter behind me, and only once in the water where you'd think they would be. Like "Whack-a-Mole", you have to be really quick to get them when they surface. They pop up for about 5 seconds before going back under. Because I was so focused on the beast, I hadn't even noticed them before this thread post. You must pay mind to those, or he keeps regaining 100% health. Those tentacles are quite dark. Three times they were emerging behind me, and I hadn't even known. Guess my graphics are dark. Ha, ha. Once you kill those dastardly things, you'll be good to go. They spun me round like a record. šŸ’«šŸ™ Beware the message that also pops up on your screen regarding the beast spawning said tentacles to warn you. So, I was basically shooting 180Ā° like Terminator with 2 blasters. Ha, ha. My Gunslinger got a workout. Lastly, If I can do it, ANYONE can. That oughta' make you chuckle. šŸ˜†
  15. After two hours of trying unsuccessfully, and about ready to throw in my blaster pistols, I finally came here to see if anyone else was having the same battle trying to conquer this creature. I found this thread. So, thank you Ominovin for this tip that you left. I don't know all of the scope of all of my abilities as of yet, (new here and still plowing along) and managed to level from hopeless Noob to level 56 in about 3 weeks. I didn't even see the tentacles until after my 5th round of trying. Found those finally! (Woot!) And kept persevering. I couldn't seem to shoot fast enough with my Operative, so I switched to my Gunslinger with faster rounds, found my distract mojo and finally came out a victor after trying forever. BIG KUDOS. That was a huge help. ā˜ŗļøšŸ˜ I got him.
